"lipstick on a pig"
the hotel from the outside looks nice but so does a pig if your drunk and put lipstick on it. beds horrialbe, carpet un-sanatary, bathroom had p hair on the floors and in tub, the basin and sink area looks like people were shooting herion (spoon marks where they laid them on the counter and they burn hole in them) and it was just horriable. i would […] have left but i need a bed that night (late arrival) and had alreday pre-paid. i slept with my clothes on and was just grossed out. I didn't like it but for two days it was good. I have two kids and they gave us second floor and there's no elevator, we were at the back of the hotel right next to the freeway. I askedto the lady to give us a room on the first floor and she just said, no. The breakfast is from 5 to 9am and is very poor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel, Bad location"
I only found 2 bad things about the hotel, the bed was uncomfortable to sleep on and the hotel is literally right next to the freeway. I can get over the bed situation because I don't expect every hotel to have the most comfiest beds. However, the location is a different story. Throughout the night, all I can hear was cars passing by and since it rained […] the night that I stayed, it was worse because of the sound cars make when you drive on wet pavement. My room was literally right next to the freeway. I didn't get a good night's sleep. It would of been nice if the hotel wasn't so close to a busy freeway. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Find a different place"
Lights were burnt out. Doors stuck on the floor. Drains were clogged in the shower. Room was facing the highway, very noisy. Got an extra blanket from the lobby for my wife and had a friend visiting. On the way back to the room, I asked him to carry the blanket so I could drink my tea. When we got back to the room, I got a phone call from the lobby […] threatening to charge me extra if my friend did not leave. Wont be going back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fine for a place to sleep"
We needed a place to get ready and spend the night for a concert at SAP center. It was clean and quiet, although the beds were not very comfortable. They were noisy, every time one of us turned over it would wake the other person up, it sounded like there were plastic sheets on the bed or something. Also, there was water damage in the bathroom caused […] by poor containment from the inadequate shower curtain, the floor was soaked following our showers. There were no restaurants near by...the neighborhood was surrounded by bail bond stores....not sure what that says about the area...but we were able to order pizza in from the menu provided in the room at a local restaurant. It did its job, but would likely try somewhere else if I did it again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay for business"
This was a perfect spot to stay for a quick trip for business to San Jose. Even had a decent continental breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was good expect I called 3 days before my check in to request late checkout and when I checked out late there was no note in the computer about it.....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"average spot that's clean and good location"
clean hotel, not allot of flexibility with late check out or being able to move the our rooms away from I880 freeway a bit noisy. Breakfast area was limited.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right on highway and smells"
This hotel is right on the highway, the rooms have a smell, there isn't an elevator and the beds are uncomfortable. The night staff was friendly, the day staff not so much.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great layover hotel"
I picked this hotel on price and proximity to and from the airport. I assumed that the cab fare would be reasonable especially after calling someone at the hotel and asking them an approximate cost. Well, a cab is a flat $15 to go 1.2 miles so that didn't help the cost of travel. The hotel is very clean a little old but no big deal. It's located next […] to the freeway so easy access for drivers but it does get noisy during commuter times. Breakfast was breads, muffins and cereal. All were fresh and good. The staff is super friendly. Just watch that cab fare! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"San Jose Airport ease"
The room was clean, bed comfortable. However, room was on the backside of the hotel butted up against a major highway. Did hear a little bit of highway noise, but with the TV on, it was drowned out. Very, very convenient to the San Jose Airport. Lack of quality restaurants in the area; but a short drive found us sampling the downtown cuisine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a nice place"
To close to the 880. Traffic noise. Very old bed and furniture. Carpet really old and stained. Very thin walls. Hear ever neighbor. Good thing nothing notty went on. Continental breakfast is a joke. This is my first review of a stay. I did read the reviewes before I booked but I thought people just exaggerate. Well they were right. First room I ever […] stayed in that I wouldn't take off my shoes. Needs serious attention. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to the Airport"
Nice quaint and homey atmosphere. Although not very updated. Room was spacious with large king sz bed and free parking! We arrived after 10:00 p.m. and was happy to see a 24 hour Denny's around the corner! Toilet was very low pressure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"One night in a bad hotel"

I was really disappointed in our stay at Days Inn. We had some down time and slept in on Monday. We left for breakfast around 11:15, came back around 3 pm and our room was not cleaned. We called the front desk and they said their housekeepers went home around 11. We did get clean towels but that's it. I guess I expected more from staying there and was […] disappointed. "OK for price in a pricey town"
Everything in San Jose is expensive so we chose this hotel for the price and location near the airport. The bed wasn't very comfortable and old. Everything was old. I went to the breakfast area at ten minutes before 9:00 am and the lady was already putting everything away. I asked her what time they close and she said 9:00 am and I said "Oh, is it already […] nine?" and she said "Yes" but it was ten minutes before. The next morning we ate in there and it was very meager. The people weren't very friendly either. They weren't rude but just not friendly. The clerk told me to keep my reservation that I had printed at home for my receipt. I thought they could have at least printed out a receipt. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed at this hotel while visiting our daughter at SJSU. It is located right under the 880 freeway. The first room they gave us was on the freeway side. With the freeway noise and loud construction workers that stay at the hotel and come "home" at 4:00 in the morning, we got no sleep our first night. After a complaint to the front desk in the morning, […] we were quickly moved to the parking lot side which was much better. We really didn't want to spend a lot on our hotel because we visit our daughter often and it gets expensive, but probably won't stay here again. The room and furnishings were old as well as the carpet. I had to wear socks so my feet didn't turn black! Also, the neighborhood was downright scary! Just another lesson in you get what you pay for! "Quick Business Trip ~one nighter~"
Rose, the manager (probably) was excellent in PR and professional. Hotel, well...it is Days Inn (but in San Jose) and bed was a bit worn. Breakfast, very basic but suffice the quick, grab, and run type of morning. "Don't book a room on the Freeway side of hotel"
I stayed here with business colleagues for 5 days. I had room a on the parking lot side of the building and slept very well. Those with rooms on the freeway side of the building couldn't sleep with the truck traffic all night. My room (404) was VERY spacious. Everything was clean and functional. The carpet and wallpaper were that kind of old-ugly you […] expect from a place like the Days Inn. Breakfast is typical and meager. But everyone was friendly, everything worked, and I felt safe there. Mattress was firm, which I love. No complaints from me!! We'll stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Be prepared to walk the steps, as there is no elevator. Hotel is next to a major freeway, so can be noisy in morning, though it's solidly built so I didn't hear much. Breakfast is apples & oranges, cereal and breads. No protein, and the coffee is barely average. It's a reasonable hotel for the price, given the area is so expensive, and it's clean with […] easy access. I recommend, but don't expect more than the basics. "OK in a pinch"
We needed a hotel for 1 night to catch a flight early the next morning. The hotel was not cheap and was disappointing for the price. It is dated and the room we were in faced the 880 freeway ramp. It would have been worrisome for ladies. I now know it is better to spend a few extra dollars than to stay here. It is adequate if you are in a pinch and […] need a hotel for one night. The hotel was about a block "out of the way", and in a decent area. It was quick enough to get downtown by driving, but was a bit more tucked away - off the main drag. The room was clean enough, but didn't amaze (i.e. the bathroom tiles in the corner could have been scrubbed; the carpet in the closet had dusty spots in the corner). The lock was loose […] and rattled; the chair was torn and wobbled. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable and close to airport, but that's it"
The room was clean and had a fridge. The beds were not very comfortable. The location was minutes from San Jose airport and close to the freeway so it was convenient to stay the last night of a vacation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I checked in late (after midnight), but managed to get the room. It was one that facing the highway traffic. I asked the front desk the next day to switch a room, and was told it was fully booked without any checking of its system. I noticed the parking lot is pretty empty, but would not ask again as I was sure I would get the same standard answer : […] " We are fully booked". This hotel is so close to highway 101, be sure you can sleep in the noise. The other parts are ok given the price of the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Shabby room and poor service, plus no elevator."
I was extremely disappointed and frustrated in this stay. The lobby area looks as if it has been recently refurbished, and looks nice. But that is the last of the good condition. There was no elevator. Our health issues were aggravated by stairs. The desk clerk was rather unkind and refused to work with us. The room was booked as non-smoking, but was […] between two smoking rooms with a wall-mounted ash tray right outside our door. The complimentary breakfast was dry cereal and toast. Nothing else. The door stop in the bathroom was placed right at the base of the toilet. We stubbed our toes on it. The wallpaper was peeling off. The bottom piece of the headboard on my bed was broken. I scratched my hand on it. The door molding around the bathroom was broken, chipped and nasty. On the second day of our stay we had to go down to the desk to get soap, shampoo, and a bathtub mat. This was a terrible place. If I had not prepaid the entire stay, I would have left immediately. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Adequate for our needs"
We needed a reasonably priced motel near the SJ airport for one night. This motel adequately met out needs... "A good stay but a disappointing breakfast"

""Airport Days Inn""
This doesn't really mean anything because they have NO shuttle to the airport! How do you call yourselves the "airport Days Inn" and not have an easy way to get to the airport! VERY disappointing! Won't stay there again! Also very run down, finish in the bathtub peeling off, baseboard falling apart to name a couple of things!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location close to airport"
The hotel's location near San Jose airport was ideal, and I appreciated that the continental breakfast started at 5 am since we had an early morning flight.
