The staffs were very nice. The room was clean and large. Enjoyed ocean view from the window. There was a bus stop where a bus bound for the Malaga Airport stops near the hotel.

For the life of me I cannot understand these 2 negatives in an otherwise wonderful hotel, in the best location in Malaga. First, why charge for Internet? That feels like you are being nickeled and dimed...just raise the room price a bit and offer it for free, and two, put some chairs and a table in the balcony.

Overall excellent, my only complaint was that the WIFI/Internet was spotty and sometimes slow. I guess Europe is not as speedy as the US...Otherwise it was excellent. I would recommend it to everyone and stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel June 15-16 2012. The panoramic view of the harbor and city from our room on the 14th floor was amazing! We did not receive our requested non-smoking room and while the smoking room was initially bearable, that evening when we were trying to sleep the smoke through the vents was awful. We had to open the door to our balcony to air out the room but then of course had to deal with the road noise. We arrived at the AC Hotel Malaga Palacio at the end of the Malaga Film festival, and it turned out that many of the famous Spanish movie stars at the festival were staying at the Hotel. This meant that when we showed up there was a large crowd of people surrounding the hotel trying to get a glimpse of their favorite actor, but thankfully the Hotel […] had prepared adequate security and we were able to walk right through the crowd and rapidly check in. The hotel was fully booked, and the room we were provided lacked much of a view (we were able to see a courtyard to the back of the hotel), but the room itself was nice and new, and one of the larger rooms we encountered in Spain. The common facilities of the hotel were excellent, and the hotel itself was centrally located. Most of the staff spoke enough English that we never had a language problem. Overall I would recommend this hotel highly and definitely stay there again. Read more

The view from our room was amazing, you can walk right out the front door and are just steps from anything you could want to do. Even the breakfast buffet was wonderful! My only complaint about this clean and classy accommodation was the hidden charge for phone use. EACH call BEGAN at 1.5 Euros, and the billing increased per minute. I wish I had known about this beforehand. The staff was friendly and knowing, and the location, near the sea and the cathedral, as well as the Picasso Museum, was perfect.

Hotel was accommodating in the fact that our flight landed at 9am we took the bus to the hotel it stopped right in front. The front desk apologized that there would be no rooms available until 12 noon. At which time they would give us the rooms. Absolutely beautiful 15 story Hotel, and there simply is no better central location. Overlooking the harbor and just souoth of Malaga's Cathedral. Hotel price is very good for the quality of accomodations offered, but watch out, charges build up very quickly. My room, while clean and comfortable, did not engender a feeling of security. The door looked like it had been broken into because the wood by the lock was broken and poorly repaired and the door itself jiggled while closed. The lobby had a bad aroma. Th hotel is very well located right next to the cathedral and also close to the harbor and beaches. The room was one of the largest we have found in Europe, had a balcony with a very good view . Firstly, we booked a short getaway to the sun in a 4* hotel, recognising out of season so didn't expect that everything would be jumping. The staff in the hotel were very good and friendly, particularly as we spoke zero spanish. The rest is going to sound little brittainish but...The room was clean, tidy and well kept, short on storage for any duration […] beyond a couple of days, only 3 drawers and no shelving. The TV IT system was not populated, there was no Hotel info nor on-demand movies. There were only 3 english language channels, all rolling news. The restaurant was limited in spaces and on the roof, which was really picturesque if you managed to reserve a table, otherwise you could eat outside on the roof terrace, but cool and windy in February. The menu was very limited. As noted by other reviewers, there are masses of cafes, bars and restaurants a brief walk outside the Hotel, but take you'll struggle as we did if one of you doesn't like meat or fish. We hired a car for the duration so I'd previously checked and believed there to be "parking limited (surcharge)", what I didn't expect was 23 euro per day (the car hire itself was only 11 Eu/day!). That's the gripes over with, the weather, hotel staff, local people, sights and sounds were well worth the visit, I guess I just expected a bit more room facilities Read more

We were only there overnight to catch tour to Morocco but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well located and comfortable hotel and we were lucky enough to be there for front row seats of big parade which celebrates the Three Kings in early Jan. Hotel was very reasonably priced too.

I stayed here for four nights and couldn't really fault it. Excellent location, great room with balcony and view over the city, helpful staff, good service.
