"Nice enough for a quick stay"
Our room was okay. The pillows are smaller than most hotels, but the beds were comfortable. Didn't like the hairdryer had to hand on the back of the bathroom door. And, there was no hook in the bathroom to put a hand towel except the back of the door, quite a distance from the sink. The hotel is hard to get to from westbound I-96.

"Not a good experience"
I was extremely disappointed with all aspects of my stay. I find it completely unacceptable that the hotel was unable to provide a blanket/comforter for the pull out bed. I was provided an extremely thin, scratchy, foam like blanket for my children to sleep with. I was told that I could have an empty duvet cover, but that was all that they had. After going down at 11:00 p.m. and complaining after already calling and requesting a blanket I never received a call back. After informing the lady at the front desk that I would be complaining the next day, I received a blanket at 11:15 p.m. The breakfast was not impressive at all and the pool was very disappointing as well. In addition to that there is no showering/changing area by the pool or the fitness room, only a toilet. I would not recommend this hotel.

We strive for 100% satisfaction for all of our guests and I am sorry that we failed you in that respect. Thank you for advising me of your problems though and I will make sure to address them with the staff to provide better service going forward. We will also look into the blankets we have available and see if a change can be made to a different type. We are always looking for ways to provide a better breakfast experience for our On the House Hot Breakfast and will continue to evaluate what we have to offer. I am sorry but our indoor pool was not designed to accommodate the extra space for additional changing or shower rooms. Again please accept my apologies since you did not enjoy your stay, I hope the next time you are in the area you will give us another chance to try and impress you. "Comfortable Hotel with friendly employees"
This hotel bed and room were comfortable and clean. My only complaint is the toilet paper used is so cheap, it is 2 ply but I think you should invest in an upgrade on toilet paper. The bathroom was dated (but clean) and there were notes up saying that they were improving to make the guests stay better. I find Hampton Inn mattresses and their "clean bed" to always be very comfortable.

"Great hotel."
We had a great experience, the room was clean, the pool and hot tub was very nice, the lobby and pool area was decorated nicely. Nice variety of food a beverages for a quick easy breakfast. Located on a dead end road off the express way, but no problems with the noise could not hear the traffic at all in the hotel.

"good location"
The hotel was comfortable and easy to get to. Our children enjoyed the pool. The breakfast had lots of variety. We would stay again as it was a good location to visit several relatives in the area and also get to the beach.

"Bad Service"
The hotel was nice but after arriving we had a comedy of errors. This included a 6:30 wakeup call that we did not request (not good with two small kids on the day we were heading to Michigan Adventure). And when we came back at 9 pm our room had not been cleaned. They gave me a $5 giftcard to some restaurant for my troubles, but all I want is good service or a discount that will make a difference.

"Very Nice Hotel. Extremely comfortable bed."
Wish they had movies available on demand. When you are staying one night out of town it can be pretty boring with nothing to watch in a hotel room. The hotel itself was clean, staff was very friendly, and the room was comfortable.

Their "fitness room" consisted of a treadmill and a stationary bike, tucked away in a closet like room, and a sign on the treadmill saying it was out of order. The pool closed before we could use the facility because of insurance reasons? There isn't a life guard on duty, how would a guest being in the pool cause anything to change insurance wise? For what was essential at our stay, the bed was comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The notes left on the night stand are a little creepy, but thanks for confirming that someone was in my room to tidy up and do linen changes

Our housekeepers try to offer a friendly touch to let our guests know we care that they are satisfied with the service on their rooms so hopefully you will expect them on a future stay. While the pool does not have a life guard on duty it is routinely patrolled by the staff during business hours and when the desk staff is preparing to leave for the day they need to shut the pool. I am very sorry about this inconvenience. As you noted the fitness room at our hotel is small and in need of updating but I have wonderful news on that topic. We are, in fact, scheduled to begin a major renovation shortly! We will be moving and expanding our fitness area and adding new cardio and weight training equipment. We will also be remodeling our breakfast and lobby area with a fresh new look and updating our guest bedrooms and bathrooms. We are very excited about all the changes we are about to make for our property and I hope the next time you come to our property we will be able to treat you to a whole new experience. "Great place"
This was the third time we have stayed here. Seems to be the place for hockey families also just wish the parents and kids had manners and were quiet at nite. We had kids jumping above us at 10:00p.m. and hockey kids going in and out slamming doors at 11:30 p.m. finally had to call the manager. It is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Beds are wonderful, close to shopping and restaurants. We were here for our 28th wedding anniversary we will be back but will request a room away from hockey kids.

"Very comfortable"
We were very pleased with our accommodations. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice room size, large bath and nice to have not only a frig but a microwave. Pleasant staff and a wonderful contential breakfast that offered a long breakfast time. We were also given a late check out time. We will stay again in the future.

"A lot for the money"
I would definitely recommend this hotel. The full breakfast was well-done with many choices. The King size room was spacious, clean, & included a fridge and microwave. My husband really enjoyed the flat screen HD TV.

The location was good, easy to find nearby several resturants. lacked area guides maps etc.to help guests.. Front desk clerk who checked us in was snippy. pool was cold and we were asked to leave the pool before 10 p.m. We would stay somewhere else next time..
