This is NOT a four star hotel! Bedroom and bathroom were very small. Bed sagged. Towels were old and in need of replacement. Staff was less than friendly. I would rate this hotel as 1.5 stars. The hotel was clean. Free wifi.

This is a VERY SMALL hotel with an elevator that fits only 2 people without their bags. The rooms are small but comfortable and their are no amenities. For the price it was a good baragin for 1 evening, but i would not stay here more than 1 night.

We found the staff at the front desk helpful and we were able to get a taxi when we needed one, unlike some of the other reviewers here. Yes, the rooms are small, but typical of Paris hotels. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe which we didn't mind at all...but we were lucky to have nice weather while we were there. Otherwise, […] I might have found the distance to the metro a little long. Plenty of dining within a 10 minute walk of the hotel, so long as you go in the right direction! It is a little, nice hotel with a marvelous location; just 15 min walk from Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées street. Moreover, many supermarkets and grocery shops are just round the corner. We booked a short weekend break in Paris for three nights, poor service from checking in to checking out, extremely disappointed with hotel interior and rooms being small. We had booked a standard room, on arrival we were given a room with a stained carpet, small room where only one person at a time was able to walk around the bed to get to the bathroom. […] The bathroom was sow tiny you had to get to the toilet by moving sides wards into a tiny space where a brick wall faced you and your knees were touching the wall in front. We were given another room which was still very limited for space and the bathroom smelt of damp the gentleman in reception at night informed us he wouldn't be able to help we would need to speak to the manager in the morning, which was no help as we were informed we had booked a standard room and we would have to pay an additional amount to upgrade and get A bigger room. The double bed in very compact for two adults The swimming pool is located in the basement and is very small. The hotel name waldorf you would persume has done connections with the hotel group waldorf Astoria and Hilton but it dosnt, as it is a stand alone hotel which has taken its ne from another company. Very good experience overall. Really good location near the arc a short walk to the sights and easy to find everything. Staff lovely and eager to help. Rooms quite small but nicely decorated. In our first room the window wouldn't lock but they quickly changed us to a different room with no fuss. A great stay.

The room was clean if on the small side (classic double) and I would recommend getting the rate with breakfast included otherwise it is 20 euros. The hotel description said 'romantic' but I would not recommend this as a romantic hotel as there is no way to dim the lights, at least not in the room I was staying in! The discription of the hotel was totally inaccurate the smimming pool was 12 foot by 6 foot. This was a special surprise for my wife it was a special birthday and the family were arriving in Paris on 10/8/12 which she knew nothing about they stayed in the holiday inn in Paris and had much superior accomodation than we did. On first appearance, I thought the taxi had dropped us off at the wrong hotel - for a 4 star hotel it was very unimpressive from outside and walking into reception!! However, very pleasant reception staff welcomed us and checked us in!! The room was tiny and the bathroom even smaller and laid out very badly!! You had to squeeze past the shower and a […] wall to get to the toilet!! Then you had about a 2' square to move in, including the toilet itself!?? There was no bar and the bottled beer they served in seating area downstairs was warm. It was very hot while I was there and the air conditioning on my room wouldn't work as the hotel hearing was on!! I tried opening the window, but the noise meant a very poor nights sleep! As for the advertised swimming pool, it was a joke - about 2x8m at most!!? Hence it would not be possible to swim in - so should not be classed as a swimming pool - maybe a plunge pool!!? We chose this hotel on the basis of the "spa" facilities. Mistake no 1 ! The pool is tiny, the water was cold and when the reception desk manager was asked whether the water could be warmer, he said he woulkdn't do it, that it was at the temperature stated on the hotel website. Just an out and out lie. Staff on arrival were extremely friendly - a pity […] we didn't see the same people for the next 5 days. A French lady on reception gave us completely wrong information about a trip to Montmarte - saying there was no funicular and we would have to catch the bus. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel - at EUR 20 pp, we considered this far too expensive when compared to the myriad cafes in the vicinity. The room was small although well furnished and for the most part, spotlessly clean. We are not sure about the Velib bike service. My partner and I are sure that on one day, the hotel staff were arrnging this for a group of guests. When we asked the same, we were given shrift change and told to do it ourselves. All in all, we would not want to stay at this hotel again. Apart from the welcoming staff and one gentleman on our last night, we foulnd most of the staff were not as "multilingual" as previously advertised and one member of staff was actually quite rude. Er også vaskelig å finne info om "spa-tilbudet" deres, da det ikke står NOE sted. Der er 8 etasjer, men heisen, som er mindre enn 1kvm(!), går bare til 7. Cet hôtel est situé dans un quartier vraiment très sympa, pas très loin de l'Arc de Triomphe et des Champs-Élysées. Les chambres sont extrêmement confortables et le personnel est très compétent et réactif! Je ne peux que le recommander!
