Our room was dated, cheaply put together and simply uncomfortable. The bed stands had patches of vinyl mising (you could see cork), bathroom was dated and basic. Vending machines on all floors were "temporarily out of service" which made me use the expensive onsits bar. No free in-room wifi (GBP 14.99) which I thought was tight for a GBP 140 room. Have used this hotel a few times now. It was very good as an overnight stop for taking an early morning flight. If you have time the Airport Bus stops right outside so a quick trip into Edinbrugh is possible as well. Could have done without the noise from the plumbing system in the middle of the night. After traveling it was good to be picked up at the airport easily and within minutes be at the hotel. You could walk there if you want! However we did not hear the planes going over as you might expect, or any traffic from the busy road. There is a well stocked spa, with reasonably priced massage ( ask for a reference before accepting your therapist) […] and a pool and sauna and steam room, so bring your suit. I did NOT like that i'd have to pay a ridiculous price for wifi in my room although there is free wifi in public areas. The shower didn't have as strong pressure as i would have liked nor is it well designed, it's close to the wall so the water spills out over the tub if you're not carefully tucking in the curtain. The beds are comfy, the staff is EXCELLENT and will help you with anything you need. It's an easy bus to Edinburgh and back and from there you can get to anywhere. Read more

There were lots of trouble with internet connection - either slow or stopped working completely. The same applies to tv - you need to be patient to change the channel. The room was slightly smelly. Prices in the restaurant were high - come with your own food. Complimentary shuttle is a plus.

The hotel is conviently located right next to the Airport. About a 10 minute walk. Our room was clean but the bed was uncomfortable. I expected a better bed, my night of sleep before an early flight home was restless because I couldn't get comfortable.

very convenient to get to airport. decent room, a bit worn but clean. very nice pool. need car (or take bus, right nearby) to get anywhere other than the airport but town center is only about 20-30 minutes away then. 1 hour of free wifi in public areas for guests is useful touch.

Hotel is very close to airport. Staff not friendly or helpful, phoned to hotel from airport to be picked up by courtesy bus - wasn't connected to reception and had to walk over to hotel in heavy rain. Complained to staff and was told reception was busy so they didn't answer courtesy phone!

Nice, clean room. Transport to the airport was fast and inexpensive. Dinner was surprisingly good for a hotel bar and grill. Breakfast was also great. I only stayed here because i had a bonus night coming on Hotels.com, otherwise it's too expensive in my opinion. For the price they charge you'd think that at LEAST internet would be included. There was a free shuttle from the airport and we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes. The best part is that the bus stop to the city is right in front of the […] hotel, and if you have a day after you check out and before you fly, the hotel will store your luggage for you. The breakfast was good, offering up more choices than i expected from a buffet, however it is not included unless you sign up for a package deal. I would love it if they offered NON-GMO food and Organic options. I had no time to enjoy the pool and spa, and if there was massage available like another nearby hotel i would have signed up for that. The one thing this hotel has in its favor is location - within walking distance of the airport - a long walk, though and not well marked. It is clean and comfortable but for the price it should be! the hotel was acceptable just like any other Hilton in the world, the staff were friendly enough, but unfortunately, I did not sleep at all as staff or a resident (maybe) continualy went in and out of a door all night and it just slammed shut very loudly the whole night!!

Very convient for the airport with free transfer to and from Airport The lobby whilst comfortable was cold especially if you can only get a seat in the area near the main doors. Two complimentary drinks at teh bar was a very welcome extra. Choice of food also very good.

Room comfortable and clean, restaurant food good, staff eager to help, excellant service to airport. My only negative was that I asked for a 5pm early morning wake up call which I got at 5.30pm and I expected a telephone call and not someone at the door. After reading the reviews on this property, we were very disappointed with our room. We had booked a so called family room which was supossed to sleep four. The room consisted of a double bed and a sleep sofa. Location is excellent if you need to be near airport, but I would rate the property as average.
