My Fiance and I were very impressed with this hotel. We stayed only the one night. Check in was very speedy and the girls on the desk were very nice. The rooms are lovely, very clean and have everything that you need. We had breakfast the next morning and it was very good too, buffet style so there was a great selection. The luas is literally on the doorstep of the hotel which is so handy for going in and out of town. There is parking available at a cost of 10 euro which we thought was reasonable. Overall, great value for money and we will definately go back.

We arrived at 9am, expecting to leave our belongings with the Concierge and were pleasantly surprised to be told that our room was available. This was greatly appreciated. Hotel is well located, 10 minutes walk from Stephens Green and adjacent to the LUAS tram station. Staff were very helpful in all departments (Food and Beverage, Reception, Housekeeping). A bit strange that there are absolutely no shops but we could live with that. We confined our hotel meals to breakfast which was an excellent hot and cold buffet. All things considered, a very enjoyable stay.

Overall a good new build hotel near the Canal, about 15 minutes walk from St Stephens Green and Temple Bar. However there were a few problems that I wouldnt expect from a hotel of the Hilton's class such as not having our room cleaned on the second day of our stay and staff at breakfast bringing the wrong drink, calling me by the wrong name. These problems are easy to smooth out though. Overall good hotel and great stay.

There is nothing that I can fault this hotel on. It definitely deserves every one of it's stars. From the friendliness of the staff to the state of the room, I enjoyed every second of my stay here and wish I could have stayed longer. The city centre is only a 10 minute walk away but far enough out of the nightlife to get a good nights sleep. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone

I stayed in the Hilton last Saturday night. Staff were lovely, room was very clean and spacious. However there was a black tie event on that night, so when I attempted to fall asleep at about 11pm it was impossible. Music was booming up through the floor (I was on the 3rd floor but apparently over the bar area), and I could hear the live band as if they were in the room below. When I phoned reception I was offered a complimentary drink, or free movie, but could not move room as no other rooms available. I was told that the music doesn't usually reach the 3rd floor. I explained that I needed SLEEP not drink and a movie, but was told repeatedly that there was nothing they could do until event ended at 1am... until I threatened going down to the band in my pyjamas and asking them to turn down the amplifiers! Approximately 10 mins later the music stopped and I fell promptly asleep. I don't know if the band were on a break, or resumed playing later, and I didn't want to find out. The following morning I was told other guests had complained, even the staff had complained but I was not offered any refund. Another thing to mention about this hotel is that there is a LUAS tram line running alongside, and I dread to think what the noise was like in the rooms closer to the LUAS line. As the deal for the room was good for the Hilton, I would probably stay there again but demand a quieter room next time.

The location is excellent with a LUAS station literally outside the front door of the hotel. The stip for the aircoach bus from the airport is also quite nearby - perhaps a 5 minute walk. We had 2 issues - our room was on the first floor (the ground floor is the street level floor) and we were directly over the banquet room. There were events both nights with dj's and it was noisy in our room. Our other problem was that I booked at a b&b rate for my 11 y/o son and myself, and was told on arrival that he wouldn't be provided breakfast. Apparently the rate was only for 1 breakfast - weird. We would stay there again and would recommend the hotel to familes, couples and business travelers.

would happily recommend this hotel in terms of comfort, cleanliness, helpful staff and excellent breakfast but a couple of things slightly spoiled our stay, the hotel had a function on the saturday night of our stay and people attending this function somewhat over ran the hotel and caused obvious problems for the staff on duty to the detriment of guests(trashed ladies toilets, entrance of hotel littered with glasses/broken glasses) in general also the noise from the function became an issue in the early hours, also swipe cards in the lifts dont work very well and became a pain

I have stayed in the Hilton Charlement a number of times of the past 3 years and have always found it to be of a consistently high standard. Whether travelling alone or with others it is a very easy hotel to stay in. On my last visit I noticed that they had installed new security in the lift - in that you must enter you room key to gain access to the floors. Breakfast was delightful - buffet style - but lovely juices, cereals, fresh fruits, cold meats, hot food, toast and a variety of breads. As I love tea in the morning it was great to see the large pots of tea. Have eaten dinner here before and it too was of a high standard served in a relaxed atmosphere.

We did not realise but the hotel had been newly renovated in October so it felt like a brand new hotel. Very stylish and contempory, with very friendly and relaxed but professional staff it was the perfect place to stay. Located on the Grand Canal right next to the tram line which runs every 5 minutes to the centre it was very central but in a really quiet area. There are a couple of great pubs just a couple of minutes walk away too! I would highly recommend this hotel but do make sure you book the breakfast as this was one of our highlights! Hilton breakfasts are renowned the world over and this is not exception!

Initially, I was a little leery of how the stay here might be after some recent experiences in London at the same chain, but I was very pleased overall. All the staff I dealt with were quite professional and more than willing to be helpful. From check-in to check-out I was always greeted with a smile and often greeted by name. The condition of the room, lobby, bar area, and restaurant were all quite nice and made the time spent at the hotel (in between ventures out) quite enjoyable and relaxing. Being just south of St. Stephen's Green, I was able to walk home from the Temple Bar area one night, so the location was good if not perfect. Overall, it was a very good experience and I will be staying there again next time I visit Dublin.
