    This was my first time at this Wingate, and I wasn't disappointed. The rooms were well furnished, the common areas pleasant, and the front desk folks helpful. There was a guest laundry on my floor; very helpful. Even the breakfast lady had a morning greeting for me!

    Front desk was kind and courteous. The bed in the room was softer and lower than any hotel i've stayed in in a long time. Found blond hairs on the covers and a couple of black hairs in the bathroom. The carpet was not clean around the edges of the room, looked dusty about 6 inches from the wall all the way around the room. They had the best shower head […] I have ever used though.     Generally the hotel was nice. Super breakfast and comfortable room. The hall carpet needed cleaning or replacing because of large visable stains. Our biggest complaint was the 1st 2 staff members we encountered-the front desk clerk who never made eye contact and had a visible tattoo, and an employee we passed in the hallway who never looked anywhere […] but at his cell phone and had no "hello" or smile, nothing. The next 2-a lady cleaning up at the breakfast bar and a maid-were more than polite and made up feel welcome. At check out the same front desk person did manage to look up, but we doubt the comment card we turned in will ever see the manager's desk. Read more
