The main problem is we checked out a day early and were told we would not be charged, but we were.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to all of my must see sights"
The manager on duty was very nice, pleasant and very courteous. I would definately stay there again if I am in the area. The breakfast was great!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Surprised by the construction"
I was very surprised to see that the hotel was under construction...while the main floor was under construction there were issues with the room as well. the faucet only had cold water and the TV wouldn't change channels. overall it was disappointing...I'll most likely stay at a Marriott again I'll ask different questions.Genuine Expedia guest review
"GOOD CHOICE FOR THE TRAVELING EXEC"
Good breakfast in the morning. Good selection so you don't have to drive off to a restaurant. Comfortable room and good service (as far as towels and soap)Genuine Expedia guest review
We didn't have any issues with anything. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was awesome! Eggs and sausage included for free!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
They have the best free breakfast. You can even make your own fresh Belguim Waffle.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Fine......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was dirty, blood was on the blanket for the sofa sleeper, When double checking the room before our departure i lifted the bedskirt and there was trash and dirt, goes to show they don't clean very well. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. I would not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excelent choice for any business traveler!"
I stayed at this hotel for three night in town on business. The staff was super friendly and very helpful, room was very well appointed and large. The free breakfast was very decent with a good selection of choices, and overall the hotel was very quiet even though it is right next to the airport. The only very minor issues I had were, the beds were […] a bit too soft for my liking, but that is a preference things, they seemed very nice and I know my wife would have loved them. This was a suite with a somewhat separate living and sleeping area and he TV was more in the living room area instead of near the beds. Again, probably a preference but when I am in a hotel I prefer to lie in bed and watch tv. Overall the stay was excellent, the location was convenient to the airport and major highways, and I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not what you expect."
Typically a great place to stay. The room we had was gross. Wrappers on the floor, a hunk of hair on the pillowcase and sunflower seeds all over the floor.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable and gracious"
Everyone was very gracious , printed directions to our next location . Roomy , comfortable .Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great in Gahanna"

Ok hotel not as nice as the spring hill near osu but adequateGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient but lacks hot water & structure."
Not a bad place to stay. Whoever built the hotel didn't pay attention to minor things like quality of taping on the bathroom walls, how straight the towel racks were put up and if there was enough hot water for early risers. (If you wait long enough, it does get warm!)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, reasonably priced hotel"
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was better than expected. Overall a good stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
Clean, comfortable, and friendly, but it was a $17.00 cab ride from CMH airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed 5 nights, the room was clean, and large, had 2 TVs, the breakfast was descent. There was a self service coffee/tea counter near the reception, which we liked.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Too far out from Easton"
The Hotel is basic with no dining or bar facilities. My mattress was bloodstained at the top so we turned it around, I probably wouldn't have noticed had it been at the bottom, but it was a little unnerveing. Getting a taxi to Easton and back costs $40 with tips Easton is a lovely place and well worth a visit, also Gahanna-Creekside is a very pretty […] place to go with a lovely pub overlooking the river for lunch. There are numerous restaurants worth visiting- The Cheesecake Factory,Steakhouse, Fados for pub grub, there is a lovely restaurant at the Hoover reservoir for a special treat.( I would not visit the Mexican or Brios again however.) People are so polite and courteous, the shops are open until 9 or 10 with free parking. The Zoo is worth a visit, but this is not a tourist area so you would have to travel for other attractions in the state It rained for a couple of days but the rest of the time the weather was lovely and around 80 degrees. "Good Quality, Poor Parking"
06/30/14 Roy M Billings, Montana
This is a good business quality hotel but parking is limited. More parking in the back, but no back entrance. It works well for this side of town. If you want more attractions and restaurants around you try the Easton area.
"Nice Quiet Location"
06/08/14 jcdltravelers Troy, Michigan
This is a great location that probably gets overlooked for Columbus airport area travelers. It is not on a 'main drag street', but is very close (less than 1 mile) from I 270. The hotel lobby area and breakfast area, as well as our room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was quite good with eggs, sausage patties, waffles, as well as other selections. The one unique aspect of the hot breakfast was the offering of salsa, cheese, and spinach with the eggs, a bit out of the ordinary from my hotel stays. The room layout was favorable for 'business' work and offered a microwave and mini refrigerator as well as a coffee maker. There is a pool area that many guests enjoyed, but we did not have the occasion to utilize. On the weekend that we stayed, there was a private party that the hotel accomodated by allowing them to use the breakfast dining area. The guests seemed pleased to have this party in the hotel where staying instead of using an additional facility.
"Spring Hill Suites Gahanna, Ohio"

As a silver elite member for marriott I was very disappointed in this hotel. The cleaning people did not do their job as far as making the beds, leaving towels, replacing shampoo, coffee etc. that was used. They just threw up the covers, didn't even empty the trash.... In addition there was a soccer team from New Guinea staying there. They were loud, unruly, and rude to the hotel staff. The desk people were awesome and extremely apologetic. The rooms were clean but my friend complained that the bed was too soft.

We stayed here for four nights during a business trip. The place is a little old and due for a renovation (in my opinion) but it was clean, the staff was nice, and it was quiet. I'd stay here again if the price was right, but I would look at other options, too. PROs: - right next to the airport - two eating options next to the hotel - fitness center equipment in working order CONs; - weak breakfast - I've never been a fan of the SpringHill's breakfast offerings - a little dingy (stains on carpet, scratches on the walls of the elevator, etc.
"Very good hotel"
05/24/14 AusAm13 Findlay, Ohio
The hotel was in a great location. Very clean and fresh. Staff were all polite and friendly. Good hot breakfast included with plenty of options. The only downside was limited parking in the front of the hotel. We were out until about 11pm and the back parking area was very dark and there are no back doors to the hotel so we felt a little uneasy.

We recently stayed 4 nights at this hotel while our hardwood floors were being refinished. We found the room to be very clean and more roomy than expected. The room layout is much nicer than other suite-type hotels. The lobby is large enough for several people to sit with a room that accommodated a large group to sit together at breakfast and socialize in the evening. All staff with whom we came in contact were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food. We didn't have any problem with having enough of any food during a busy weekend. In addition to the Hickory House & a Subway next to the hotel, there are several restaurants a 2 - 5 minute drive away. A nice city park is just on the other side of the freeway. We will be recommending SpringHill Suites to any of our out of town visitors.
"Okay SpringHill Suites"
04/22/14 happyvistor12 Cincinnati, Ohio
Stayed here for two days. During checkin did not get recognition for Platinum status with Marriott nor requests made in the reservation. It might be convenient to airport, but our room was not quiet hearing the Interstate and Aircraft at the airport. Did realized until before departure that one of the windows was unlocked. So did not receive the service that I seen at other SpringHill suites. This maybe due to the age of the hotel, improvements are now in other properties. Overall not as good as I expected. Breakfast was not as good as received at other SpringHill suites. I will look for a different hotel for my next visit to Columbus area. As a frequent user at Marriott did not expect the quality of this hotel type.
"So many issues!"
We stayed one night for a dance competition in the area, and we were so disappointed in our stay. First, we ran out of toilet paper (!), and the person at the desk "had to find some". Never should have happened. Breakfast was disappointing, and they were not keeping up with the people trying to eat. Definitely not enough people on staff for a busy weekend. We won't stay here again.
"An older hotel that is well maintained and has a pleasant staff"
03/02/14 RetiredArmyRANGER Des Moines, Iowa
Stayed 3 nights at this location and the proximity is good from airport, they have a shuttle free. It is a little out of the way for eateries however, the hickory house is within walking distance and offers military discount, see my separate review. I had the king room and I really appreciate the layout of the Springhill Suites Brand. Room is spacious with fridge, sink, and microwave, couch, Large TV on a swivel, amongst other amenities. The king beds are very soft also, which is a favorite for myself, but may not be for others and is the main reason I mention it. For an older hotel, it is well kept. The hotel has a great free breakfast and the staff was pleasant. The exercise room is a bit on the small side however, they have squeezed two treadmills, an elliptical, and small weight room in what feels like a closet; all functional. If I were to complain about anything during the stay, it was their terrible hotel coffee. I ended up buying Folgers instant to make due. Not sure if it is the brand or the local water or both, it just tasted bad. So other than, the coffee and weekend noise from other customers, who seem to forget some people work on the weekends, no complaints. Other than the issues I mentioned, the stay was great with great staff and not a one wake up call missed! Video on my YouTube channel; if the review helped, give me a thumbs up. Thanks for reading. This was a great stay at SpringHill Suites. I was traveling with a large group of high school students, everyone at the hotel wanted to make sure that we had a good experience. From booking the trip, checking in, enjoying our rooms, eating at the breakfast bar and checking out, everyone went above the normal to make sure this was a great stay for us. Keep doing what your doing at SpringHill Suites in Columbus GA ! Thank you, Brad Martin
