We've stayed here before but this time got a room with a terribly noisy heater, and WiFi was spotty. 2nd floor with no elevator and stairs are a problem for us.

When we first checked in, our non-smoking room smelled very much of smoke, but after going back to the front desk and telling them of the problem, the staff graciously moved us to another room and also moved us to the ground floor since we had an infant with us and had alot of items to bring into the hotel. Pool was very nice.

The facility was quite nice although the bed was a little too soft for my taste. The hotel is less than a block away from railroad tracks and I was awakened several times during the night by train horns ... always got back to sleep but the "wake-ups" were not appreciated.

VERY UNHAPPY! They never changed the bedding and one day didn't even make the bed. When I complained they made us wait in the lobby while the night girl made the bed. HORRIBLE EXPERIANCE!

We found the staff at this hotel to be unfriendly and not very accomodating. We didn't have enough towels or blankets. The staff was not friendly to our children even though they were well behaved. The desk staff was unprofessional and inexperienced. The only person working when we arrived told me my card was denied through expedia and ran in at the desk. When I checked my mail and found I had a confirmation email from expedia saying our room was paid for I went back to the desk. She then told me she ran it wrong but could not give me a reciept […] or refund my card because the manager was not on call. After talking with her and realizing I was getting no where I decided to try again in the morning with someone else. That was a mistake because the second teenager behind the desk told me they werent authorized to run credit cards therefore she could not produce a reciept saying she charged me and the manager revearsed the charges like the girl the night before assured me had happened. She the. Told my husband it was impossible for the girl the previous night to havetalked to a manager because they didnt have one! Maybe it is common practice for hotels to not have experienced customer service personel in the building somewhere on the weekend but this caused a lot of stress to me and my family traveling for two days in a car. I read other reviews, and this appeared to be the best place to stay for the price. We were quite pleased with the room and the service, etc. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but that room looked to be in good shape, too. It was certainly a good bargain relative to the other lodging options in the Sioux City area.

Staff was very helpful, courtious, accomodating. Nice Breakfast! we stayed 4 nights, every breakfast a little different. Good in room Fridge. Good wifi, public computer and nice pool, nice big comfortable lobby.

Comfy pillow top mattresses, fluffy pillows. Clean and pleasant facility. Great breakfast with fruit, yogurt, toast, cereals, fresh pastries, eggs, waffles, biscuits/gravy, flavored coffees. What more could you want? Would definitely stay again.

I am very hesitant to stay in inexpensive hotels due to previous bad experiences. However, this hotel was a great stay for the price. The only problem encountered was noise. The a/c unit was a little noisy when it kicked on. A car alarm sounded repeatedly during the night, but hotel staff handled as promptly as could be expected.

Not only was I not able to get a working key for my room, but i was moved rooms because the attendant couldn't give me a working key. Then when I tried to check out the attendant was on a personal call with a significant other and made me wait.

The desk clerk was very helpful when we arrived. We were looking for antique stores and she looked them up for us and even called to see if they were open. The room was very clean and smelled great. The breakfast was good and very filling, We will stay there again,next time we visit Sioux City.

I took the extra expense to book this hotel hoping that the quality would be higher but was deeply disappointed. Don't bother coming to this Americanonn if you expect good quality and clean room. the rooms were shoddy and from the 80s and the breakfast was small and uninspired

Large room with good pool and pleasant customer service. The room claims to be sound proof but couldn't cope with the nearby railway and the noisy waffle iron in the breakfast area. I would recommend this hotel because the facilities are good but only to heavy sleepers or those with good ear plugs.

The hallways were very smokey which then was in our room. The front desk staff offered us to move upstairs where it wasn't 'as smokey'. We declined. No elevator.
