"Great view and service"
The hotel is 7-8 minutes to Tsukiji and Shintomicho subway station and walking distance to the fish market. It is in a quite location and the rooms have comfortable beds and fantastic views. Despite the fact that the room furniture/design is dated, the hotel makes up for it with the service. The Staff are very friendly, polite and trying their best […] to accommodate all requests. In addition, the rate was exceptionally good when we booked long in advance. The massage chair in the room was an extra bonus. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good-value, quiet hotel near Tsukiji fish market"
Stayed 4 nights in Oct. Highly recommend if you want to be 5 minutes walk from Tsukiji fish market & outer market. Also next to Sumida river and pleasant riverside promenade where the water bus to Asakusa stops. But despite hotel's name, Ginza is 20+ minutes walk away. Nearest subway station Tsukiji (Hibiya line) about 5 mins walk. Location is quite […] green and tranquil as hotel's next to the huge St Luke's Hospital complex, in a non-touristy, tree-lined area with small local shops, eateries, kids playground. The hotel is in one of the 2 office towers called St Luke's Garden. There's a 7-11, pharmacy, McDonald's, cafes and restaurants in the building, and taxi rank right outside. We had a double room on 35th floor - spacious for the price, with fab city view. We could've done without the massage chair but it was a fun bonus. Nice long bathtub. Small fridge to store the pickles & stuff you'll buy from the Tsukiji outer market. All the usual Japan hotel amenities provided, even nightshirts. Only cheesy note was the 250 yen charged for in-room drip coffee (teabags and bottled water provided free though). No safe-deposit box but we just locked valuables in our suitcase. Wifi relatively fast. Front desk staff's spoken English was very basic but they tried hard to help. No need to opt for the hotel's costly breakfast - there are cheap noodle joints and cafes nearby and of course the super-fresh sushi & sashimi at Tsukiji market's many eateries that are open from 5am! "quiet with great views"
Room was larger than I expected. The three of us each had a bed the size of one that was passed off for a double in a previous hotel in Osaka. Location by the river is great and within walking distance from stations both JR & metro. Staff couldn't speak English but that was not a problem. Breakfast room has wonderful views but not worth 21,000Y Especially […] when there are alternatives close by. The fish market had a sign up by 5am that all bookings were full and that they gave them out between 3.30 &4am - not the same info I had. Overall the hotel was great and I would recommend it mainly for the reason that your room will come with a view from at least the 30th floor Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent rooms with fantastic views."
From the photographs, this looks like a big hotel, however they only occupy the top 6 or 7 floors of this building. Depending on where you want to go, it may be an inconvenient location as Roppongi, Shinjuku etc are on the other side of town so a 25 minute tube journey away, however it is close to Tsukiji, and Tokyo station and Ginza are a 20 minute […] walk, so then it may be convenient... I think I prefer the location of my usual hotel in Akasaka Mitsuke, but I've grown to like this one as well. GOOD POINTS: - large rooms - massage chair in room - fantastic views over the river / rainbow bridge / odaiba / roppongi - really superb - good hotel staff - a number of closeby (10 minute walk) stations so access to a number of lines - decent air conditioning - very comfortable rooms - no bright lights from TV/clock radios to keep you awake - rooms very quiet. No road noise (on the 37th floor) / no noise from neighbours or the corridor - small hotel, so no waiting for lifts - relatively easy to get to hotel from Haneda BAD POINTS - curtains don't offer full blackout, but pretty good - no single station is close, rather two or three closeish stations - decent tube connections, but not great - not a whole lot of dining choices very closeby (within 5 minutes walk) - bathrooms are a little older than most hotels, but well maintained and very clean - no close connecion to limousine bus (for airports) If the location works for you, thoroughly recommend this hotel - the view is amazing Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
My family and I were happy with the hotel. On each of our beds, there was a really nice nightshirt. It was so comfortable! The hotel is close to a convenience store which made it handy . We picked up some cold drinks and snacks.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and tidy hotel"
Easy to get too and from, subways handy. Arrived into Tokyo station with plenty of luggage so used taxi, initially. 1000 yen. Plenty to see close by, with Ginza shopping and fish markets both an easy walkGenuine Expedia guest review

Great views of Tokyo and good access to subway located in a quite but not so far location in the city. Good stores and resturants nearby for quick bites and snacks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice hotel"
Overall great hotel and our family of 4 enjoys a lot during our stay. Walk along the river corridor to Tsukiji fish market in less than 10 mins. Hotel is located on high floors in St. Luke's Garden building. Building has Seven-eleven, MacDonald, Sushi take out shop, post office and a few restaurants on 1/F & 2/F. In Japan, post office has ATM machine […] available. I am not able to withdraw cash in Japanese banks (use debit card from Canada) because of different Japanese banking network system. But my debit card works perfectly at ATM Machine in post offices. Clean, spacious room (in Japan standard) and amazing view of Tokyo. Staff speaks English. Take a taxi to and from Tokyo station for about 1100¥. Or walk to the closest subway station in 10 mins. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the Tsukiji fish market"
More spacious rooms than an average hotel room in Tokyo. If you're a tourist and planned a visit to the fish market early in the morning, it's the perfect location as the hotel is just a few minutes away on foot. Great view to the city. It's unfortunate that they don't have a buffet style breakfast though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Customer service was very friendly and helpful. The room was a lot bigger than we expected. The massage chair was very handy after a big day walking around Ginza. We enjoyed a meal at the hotel resturant and drinks in the loby lounge.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Breath-taking Views from the Bedroom."
We loved the peaceful location of the Ginza Creston, and really welcomed the air-conditioned reception each time we returned. The staff were very polite but had limited English, which made booking taxi's a bit nerve-racking, but there were three subway/metro stations within easy walking distance. Our room was a reasonable size but the views were breath-taking, […] from the bedroom window. We could see right across Tokyo to the mountains. House-keeping was good, fresh dressing gowns and towels were laid out each day. It was useful to have restaurants and convenience stores in the adjacent complex for nibbles and drinks, so we didn't have to use the hotel bar (which was limited). We also kept our own fresh milk (for coffee) and chilled our water in the bedroom fridge - very handy. I'd definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Two days at the Ginza Creston"
We caught a taxi to Ginza Creston from Tokyo Station. Not too far, and only cost Y1300, They had notices informing guests that building work was happening, but we noticed no noise or disturbance. We were given a comfortable, modern room on the 34th(?) floor - have never stayed in a room at this height before! Room contained all amenities you might expect: […] TV, aircon, fridge, DIY tea/coffee, modern Japanese hot water toilet separate from bathroom vanity/shower/bath. Brilliant view over the river, bridges, and city lights. Two superettes, MacDonalds and Subway (food) in near new complex next door to hotel. Pleasant walks into the Tsukiji and Ginza areas with great coffee and shopping. Despite the hotel's name, it's not in the central Ginza area, which is about a 2 km walk (in the heat, or catch a subway train). Hotel staff were friendly, were happy to store our luggage when we arrived a few hours before checkin, and provided us with maps and information. A good experience. "great if you want to see Tsujiki Market"
The hotel decor is a bit dated and there are no English TV channels, but the room was large, the massage chair was an enjoyable feature, and the hotel is walking distance to Tsujiki Market, if that's on your list. Also, there was one front desk clerk who went above and beyond to help - I left with a positive impression because of her!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic views & location"
Booked for 1 nite, but stayed for 4 days! Location is great with amenity stores/restaraunts in attached bldg. Both water taxi & subway stations & tsukiji fish market minutes away. And large room had such fabulous views from both windows that it was also a pleasure to just chill out with some fresh made sushi & a local beer while having a massage in […] your own personal massage chair!!! Great view from our room of the city at night, our room was on the 37th floor! The restaurants were a little expensive and but there are a number of good restaurants in the department store at the ground level. "The best view available and a very helpful staff"
This was our first time in Tokyo and we had an amazing time! The hotel staff helped us tremendously along the way and did their best to answer our many questions and even provided detailed instructions for anywhere in the city we wanted to visit. The room itself was not very large but this was not a problem to us. It was perfect for the two of us and […] the view of the city was simply spectacular from the 35th floor. Everything was in good condition and the massage chair was great and even though the remote had only japanese on it, we were able to figure it out. I would recommend asking for your wifi password and router when you arrive or they wont offer it to you. Also look for food in the area as the hotel food is overpriced. They will even assist in ordering pizza or food from the area if need be. Again they are very helpful and friendly. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and spacious room (except for carpet)"
Rooms are big by Tokyo standard (good size even for N. American standard). Everything else is very clean and tidy. The only exception is the stained carpet in the our room - massive stains, pretty disgusting, but since I expected some sort of stains from reviews on the Web, I was not too surprised. I was asked about my opinion on checkout, so I told […] staff members on duty, and they readily admitted it and apologized, with the remark that they are changing the carpet gradually and that it will be good when we come back next time! A professional staff. We put a "do not disturb" sign on one day when we went out as we did not want the set up to be disturbed. They were concerned and left us a message to contact them because they were concerned that they cannot clean up the room and replace towels (if we wished). This is a quiet area, and takes about 12 minutes to walk to Tsukiji Station. If you enjoy quietness after a long day, and like to walk/jog along the Sumida River, this is perfect. St. Luke office tower attached to this hotel tower provides convenience of a pharmacy/drug store, cafe, McDonald, and a few other resaturants. Other restaurants and cafes are just about less than 10 minutes away by foot. Just keep in mind this is not like Shinjuku or Tokyo Station (Yasesu) area in which you can just pop downstairs to get anything you need, in less than a couple of minutes. We're from Australia and were looking for somewhere to stay in Ginza. The Ginza Creston was such a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful and English friendly. They went out of their way to help direct us to certain places; printing out maps, timetables and even highlighting train lines and times. The room was big for a Japanese hotel and […] the view was spectacular. The massage chair was also an added bonus. "Nice Room and View"
Quite a distance walk, about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station to the hotel. Overall, room was pleasing, clean and the view was excellent. The surrounding of the hotel were offices, hospitals and university. It was very quiet during the night as all shops are closed quite early. But there are fast food restaurant and 7-11 stall next to the hotel. […] Overall, it was a nice place to stay. But to our disappoint, the hotel staffs are not very friendly. "good neighborhood but not close enough to subway"
Good Hotel and neighborhood. Have a McDonalds and 7eleven in first floor very useful when you get bored of japanese food. Excellent views from bedroom. Walking distance from fish market. Only issue is not so close from subway and when you have walked all day thats a problem, specially taking note that taxis in tokyo are very expensive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
10 days at the Ginza Creston was a most enjoyable experience and worth the expense. They put us on the 38th Flr facing the Sumida River in a room much larger than we had expected. The view more so at night is awesome! The room comes with a massage chair, instructions in Japanese, making using it a hit and miss experience. It also come with a fresh pair […] of pyjamas each day, which we declined to use but which they kept providing. No coffee is provided only tea and green tea. There is no English channel on TV - just one news channel in English would have been nice, however that said the daily delivered Japan Times in English helped to keep us in touch with what was happening at home. The hotel staff do try very hard to communicate in English. One or two are reasonably fluent. As there was so much food on offer in Tokyo we never got to use the hotel restaurant. The Tsukiji Station (3 train lines) is a convenient 10 minutes away depending on how fast you walk and only 160Y from Ginza. A 7-Eleven along the way makes picking up supplies on the way back to the hotel easy. Next to the hotel is a MacDonalds (if you can't live without it) and a water ferry stop to Odaiba. Its 600Y one way and worth taking for the river view it gives. At Odaiba there is a free shuttle that does a 30mins city circuit. Nb. The water ferry gate is always locked but is opened when the ferry arrives. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Magnificent view from the rooms as the hotel occupies the top few floors of a sky scraper. The complex below houses fast food and coffee shops open till ten each night, very useful for your morning coffee - which can be enjoyed over looking the river as it is right next to it. The nearest subway is about five minutes walk straight down the main road. […] A further five minutes takes you into Ginza which is an impressive high end shopping district. "A pleasant stay with pros and cons"
The hotel has a beautiful view on the river and it's easily accessible by the Hibiya line (4min walk), Asakusa line to the 2 airports (10 min walk) and you have the Ginza shopping district at 15 min walk along with the Ginza and Marunouchi line. The staff doesn't speak too much English but they go the extra mile to try to help you nonetheless. The twin […] room I got was cosy, always clean and had a massage chair. The TV doesn't have any English channel. The description on here is misleading as it mentions a fitness centre available nearby at a discounted rate: well not really. There is a Gold's Gym in Ginza (15 min walk) that charges 3000 Yen for a single entry and that's the gym the hotel suggests. However there is one next door (literally), called Oasis, that charges 1575 and has great amenities like a virtual golf course, a bathing area, swimming pool etc. if you are having fun in a club the last train to the area is at 00:06 from Shinjuku. Taxi from the airport to the hotel is around 8000/10000 Yen, train via the Asakusa line is 590 from Haneda and around 1000 from Narita. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
