Doubletree Club Las Vegas Airport - Las Vegas 36.05801, -115.14543

This hotel is near the airport, and even nearer the car rental office (a separate complex), and several pilots and air crew were staying there. It does not suffer too much from noise from planes, however. It is about 2 miles from the Strip - taxi cost $12 - $16, but make sure they take you the direct route (hotel is just down the Strip, then left). The pool is a reasonable size, and hotel was generally clean. Hotel offers shuttle service to and from airport. There is a bakery/cafe in the hotel, and Applebees across the parking lot. Not much else nearby.

My fiance and I ended up at this hotel after we had to switch our travel plans following a three night stay in the Strip. And I couldn't be happier to be here and not on The Strip anymore. Don't get me wrong: Las Vegas was great. However, after a long couple of days of attending academic conferences and staying up late, it was very nice to come to a low key, beautiful decorated hotel with no slot machines to relax for an evening before heading back to the East Coast and reality. The staff is great, the room is beautiful and comfortable, the room service is reasonably priced and tasty, free internet, free shuttle to the airport, really good rate...I couldn't be happier.

The hotel was nice and staff were great. It is close enough to the Strip and airport but away from the traffic. When my sink faucet dripped, they immediately sent someone to fix it. The breakfast buffet was not the best; it was $9 and the food was kind of rubbery. However, the fresh warm chocolate chip cookies were fantastic.

Perfect for a business stay. They have a 24 FREE hotel shuttle to & from the airport plus a fee shuttle to the strip. Free high speed internet included. Applebee's next to the hotel open late. Nice people, you can't go wrong if you looking for a spot away from the strip close the airport, clean and safe.

I believe the Double Tree hotel should have a higher rating than it has now. The rooms were excellent and very clean. The staff were very helpful when we had a problem at check in. Good location also.

everything was good except, that on my second day they call me telling me that they have the entire floor rented to a big group and I have to move to another room. I told them that I was going to be back around 10 pm. they said that they must enter to my room and move my things, I was so mad, I told them don't do it and I was going to check out next day earlier. and we did. Was a very clean and confortable room.

Hotel is in great condition and located very close to the airport. Is not on the strip and located away from the hustle and bustle of the masses. Great for the traveler that needs to catch an early flight out the next day.

This hotel was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. Beds we soft and comfy, bathroom was clean and well lit. Hotel is close to the airport, but we did not hear any planes at all during the night. Slept well. Staff was very pleasant and helpful when we needed them. Definitely we will stay there again when we travel to Vegas.

We chose the Doubletree Club hotel in Las Vegas, as it was off the strip, but had free shuttle service to/from the airport and the Strip. Hotel.com reviews indicated the Strip shuttle was available until 2-3 AM, which would have been perfect. However, when we arrived, as of June 2008, they only provide shuttle service to the MGM Grand until 10 PM. So, for any late night visits to the Strip, you will have to get a taxi back to the hotel, costing $20. For business travelers, or those with a rental car, the Doubletree is a very good choice. However, if you want to hang out on the Strip, then best to get something on the Strip, as the Doubletree's cutback in shuttle service changes the desirability equation greatly. Next time we'll stay on the Strip.

Was trying to avoid the strip and make an early morning flight. Both missions accomplished. Very clean and inexpensive.

The hotel has very friendly staff and is very convenient to the airport and car rental return area. The room is nice, but not very big. I would definitely stay there again, they even greet you with a warm cookie!

Loved the Doubletree!!!! That was the most comfortable hotel bed we had ever slept in. It is minutes from airport car rental center and airport. Perfect for those who what to experience the Las Veags Strip, but don't want to get caught up in the traffic. Would stay there again.

We had a car, so location was not a problem for us--five to ten minute drive to the center of the Strip, depending on traffic. Noise from the nearby freeway was minimal. We were welcomed (cookies are a nice touch) and given a nice room on a genuinely non-smoking floor. The beds are truly doubles, not queens, and the hotel was unable to accommodate our request for a cot for the third member of our party. The sink was draining slowly, but maintenance responded promptly to our request that it be fixed. The restaurant next door doesn't open until 10:30 on Sundays, so we had to go with the hotel buffet, which was fine if a bit pricey. There's a chain coffee shop about a quarter of a mile down the road.

only stopped one night on our way to hawaii but found staff friendly .would go back here if coing to vegas as excellent value if you have a car even though it is only 5 mins from strip.

very close to airport & shuttle service worked well.

Little mixup with shuttle pickup at airport, but personnel very friendly. We didn't have supper, so complimentary delicious cookies at check-in were welcomed. Room/beds extremely comfortable. This was a late check-in and early check-out 1-night stay - wish we would have had more time. Wish it had been a little closer to the strip, but all in all a very nice hotel, friendly personnel, and we would recommend it.

What more would you want when all you have to take is a 10min drive down Las Vegas Blvd a couple of blocks from the hotel and you right smack in the middle of the strip..price of the hotel is good and if your thinking of renting a car ( any company ) they are within walking distance of the hotel which I took advantage of when I returned my car

very good airport hotel, free shuttle service to/from the airport and to MGM Hotel a big plus. not much of a neighborhood, except for an Applebee's restaurant, the only other option is the mini-cafe/restaurant that is located in the main lobby. overall, very comfortable, clean, no fuss, accomodations.

This hotel was very comfortable and was no where near the strip with the neon and the noise... The hotel does offer a shuttle service to the strip though.. but watch out during the later hours as the shuttle "forgot/refused" to pick us back up... Overall a great hotel at a decent price

This hotel is about 1 or 2 miles from the airport and car rental locations. The lobby is spacious and very welcoming. They have guest computers in their business center to use. The cookies were delicious! The fitness room had at least 6 pieces of equipment and the guest rooms had plenty of room as were very clean.

Nice hotel and good selection for breakfast buffet.

Very nice hotel considering the price you pay for it. Really liked the welcome cookie. Got addicted to it :). On a serious note superb place, nice rooms, conveniently located off the strip (sometimes you waana be away from the strip limelight), close to the airport perfect for flyers. Good and peaceful neighborhood. In all worth all the money you spend on for your stay.

Wanted a hotel that was close to the airport for an early morning flight. The hotel shuttle was on-time, and the hotel is convenient to the airport. There is a shuttle that goes to the MGM-Grand, but I didn't use it. The hotel is not close to the strip, and also is not close to many restaurants or shops.

I had a great experience at the Double Tree. Even room service was prompt and above my expectations. The accommodations are nice and very clean, and the staff was very friendly. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The location was convenient to the airport, south strip and major freeways.

We had a fantastic stay at the Doubletree. We heard no airplane noise and the rooms were clean and nice. The beds were super comfortable. My only complaint is the bus station style restaurant they have. Sort of weird given the class of hotel.

Stayed at the Double Tree the first night of a 5 night stay in Las Vegas. The shuttle picked us up a the Airport wich was a great service. You do have to reserve a space for the suttle to the MGM and they will do a pick up shuttle untill 3am (Shuttles run at the top of each hour). The room was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Deffinetly would stay here again.
