The staff were super helpful and friendly. Service was impeccable. The room was a little small but it was very clean, well designed, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was delicious and we slept like babies.

As usual, Red Roof Inn failed to disappoint me when I have looked for a balance between cost and decency of accommodation. Indeed, it is the best value for the buck and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I had to change my booking and then check out early due to personal reasons but the hotel didnt flinch but rather gave me (through Hotels.com) a full refund for unspent nights. Needless to say, I will prefer to stay here when I can.

We enjoyed the convenient location(right on the Endicott campus). Literally a short walk to the beach. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was listed as Queen size but it was actually a full size which was a bit small for the two of us. Otherwise, very enjoyable and would stay there again.

Our son goes to college close by and we would stay here again. Very clean, staff was very nice and the breakfast was a bonus. Easy to get to and plenty of places to eat close by.
Location.
Definitely not the typically located hotel, Le Meridien Cambridge is located on the MIT campus in the Cambridge area of Boston, near Harvard University, museums, galleries, performance venues and as Fenway Park. Guests are just one block from Central Square's restaurants and entertainment, and two miles from chic boutiques. Five miles from Boston's Logan International Airport, the Le Meridien Cambridge is a good choice for visitors to MIT and other area universities and Red Sox fans. The Charles River is three blocks away from the hotel where rowers and their families stay during the Head of the Charles Regatta festival each October.

Great Hotel. The only thing that was an inconvenience was that we did not have coffee in our room and we had to wait to get it.
"Good but restaurant staff needs a little work"
Nice hotel, very conveniently located in Cambridge. The hotel is in good shape and the room was a reasonably good size for a city hotel. The restaurant had a nice appearance, but the staff seemed a bit disorganized. Lots of dropped dishes and difficultly getting food to the table.

The hotel has a very modern appearance. The lobby and rooms looked very classy and for two college kids, we felt undeserving of such a fancy place. The room was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again. No real complaints. The best part is probably the location. We stayed here to attend Anime Boston at the Hynes Convention Center because […] of having to cancel at the Sheraton last minute. Although we were a bit far from the convention, the hotel was right near a CVS, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, and a ton of great little restaurants (we really liked the Asgard and Miracle of Science). not a great place to stay. a bit of overpricing. its old and the service is not desirable. cant believe that the hotel was run out of slippers when i was asking to get a pair of it during my visit last friday night. no champagne provided after 11 pm is totally ridiculous.

"Le Meridien Hotel, Cambridge, MA - A Good Value"
We stayed here a few weekends ago and found the location, rooms, and staff to be very good - it was an altogether pleasant stay. Unfortunately there was alot of noise from the other room coming through the wall but it did subside after 11PM. I would recommend this hotel to others.

"Comfortable beds"
The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds but there is not closet in the room, they have put up somethings that looks like a kitchen fridge to compensate for a closet....The cordless phone was not working in the room and when i used the speaker phone the lady at the other end was very rude since she could hear everyone else in the room the location […] is perfect and there are a few nice and cozy places to eat and nice cafes around...the hotel does not have room service after 11pm which i didnt like... over all its a nice hotel and you will sleep very well, i would recommend it to others MK NYC Read more

everything you could want, restaurant downstairs for dinner, grocery store connected to the hotel open 24 hrs.breakfast buffet in the AM downstairs in the restaurant. clean and very comfortable room, I will stay here again.
This is a very nice hotel which is in the busy area between MIT and Harvard University. I will recommand this to my friends and come back next time.

Location is prime and if you are looking for some great food, fun places and amazing bars then this is the right place to stay. Everything was at walking distance esp Harvard square was a 5mins hike on the metro or 7mins cab ride. Plenty of upscale restaurants. We loved it and would always go back.

This hotel has it all. It's very elegant, yet not stuffy. The service is impeccable. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Even the in-room dining is quite good. It's in a quieter location than many other highly rated hotels in the city. And while it's in Cambridge, it's still just a quick walk/ride to any sites you would want to see in the […] Boston area. "Awesome Hotel"
This was a great hotel for a really good price. It is right off the MIT campus (which is really pretty btw), and the surrounding buildings are full of different types of restaurants. The MIT museum is close by too and we found a voucher for a free admission in our welcome packet, as well as two vouchers for free buffet breakfast the next morning (which […] had eggs cooked to order, bacon, french toast, potatoes, cereal, pastries, and a fruit bar). The hotel staff accomodated us for early check in AND late checkout at no extra cost. We were given a suite which includes a nice bathroom with a shower/tub (and free bottled water), nice king sized bed with a mounted tv in the bedroom, and a nice living area with a big couch and a huge flat screen tv (around 47ish inches). Not only is it in a really great area, but the guestroom floors are not accessable without a keycard. The only part we were not happy with was the parking was more than $20 a night (if you didn't leave) or for $8 more you could get a pass to come and go as you please. "Awesome Hotel"
I am definitely coming back. The hotel is awesome and in part it gave me luck. I stayed there during my application/examination processes at the world's best school, Harvard, and I got accepted in its PhD in Management program !!! The hotel is well maintained and is very close to awesome nightlife :)

The hotel is very consistent to Le Meridien quality and service standards and extremely convenient to guests visiting MIT and nearby locations. Subway is only 4 blocks away, and free parking is definitively a plus in the city. Try nearby FLOUR for an amazing coffee and pastries. Overall we had a decent experience at this hotel. We're unfamiliar with Cambrige and the hotel staff was helpful with suggestions on dining and local attractions. Unfortunately, our keys never worked, and after inquiring about the situation at the front desk we were basically told to deal with it. Parking is HORRENDOUS at $22 a night. Fortunately for […] us, we only stayed one night. The hotel's prices were a bit high for the lack of free parking, lack of assistance with the key issue and no continental breakfast. We also had to deal with strange charges on our credit card that have yet to be cleared up. So, yes, this hotel is nice yet overpriced, but worth it to us for the closeness to our destination, one block away. Not sure if we'll be back. Read more

I actually choose to stay in Cambridge over staying at the Hynes Convention center hotels. It was quitier, and a pleasant diversion to get away from the tumult. Parking at the Le Meriden was more convenient than what parking near the Prudential center would have cost overnight. You can take a quick bus ride to the Convention center, but I did drive […] back & forth, staying in a "Early bird" special outside lot that held the car until 6 PM. - the room was clean and in an comfortable size - the bathroom (especially at the mirror) we missed more light - just a few steps away from lots of restaurant, clubs, bars and the university life - but at the hotel you hear nothing from the party. - vie the bus you've got a good connection downtown - the subway is several blocks away.

Hotel is a five minute walk from the MIT campus. It's right next to some great food, such as Miracle of Science and others. Also literally right next door to a grocery store. It's also right near the MIT museum, which is definitely worth checking out. Hotel was clean, quiet, and classy. Free WiFi was a plus, as I was in town on business.
