As my rating indicates this hotel was generally very good: clean, well equipped with all the basics, and a very helpful staff. There were a few small things that were either strange or not so good: The use of internet was strange. They told us that we could use it for free in the lounge area. This was true but in fact we were able to use it for free […] in our room as well even though our room was nowhere near the lounge. They did not say that this was an option. We were told that if you wanted WIFI in your room you had to purchase a connection plan. It was only because I tried to connect as if I was in the lounge that I found out that it still worked well in the room. I think that the WIFI should be included in the room cost and that this should be made clear. The exercise room was very small and had only 2 treadmills, 1 stepper and a weight machine. A stationary bicycle and a bit more room would have been very welcome. Breakfast can be expensive since there is only an onsite Starbucks nearby. Read more

I thought that the A/C in our hallway third floor was a little cold. We had a vent right outside our room and was shocking every time we left our room. The hotel was quite nice and room was clean. Clock didn't have correct time. AC turned on but when it cycled off, never went back on. I mentioned this to the front desk before checking out and was told it would be taken care of.

this hotel is excellent if you are on moderate budget and can't find a hotel in downtown. As it is very near to a T-stop (on red line), commute to anywhere in downtown is easy. The cafeteria is also good, though a regular restaurant would be nice.

The stay was great! The hotel was great. The service was great. My biggest complaint was there was no where close by to eat and the cafe was fine for breakfast but not dinner and I didn't feel safe getting off the t stop in the dark so we had to eat early in oston or eat at the cafe.

This hotel was comfortable, conveniently located at a reasonable price. Staff was helpful and check-in/checkout was a breeze. The only downside was the $10 per day parking fee. Having Starbucks right in the hotel was good however the staff in there were kind of rude.

What a great way to start your stay with a delicious warm cookie! This hotel is very well kept, clean, roomy, & a friendly staff. It is outside of the city center area, so it is cheaper than those in town, but it is only a half mile from the T (subway), which is only a few stops from downtown. I would heartily recommend this hotel.

I took a chance on this hotel as some ratings were not too good BUT I REALLY enjoyed my stay and found the hotel to be clean, no plumbing issues, and easy to access dowtown via 5 minute walk to the T. Free internet in the lobby. Parking is 10 but this is much less than any other parking available dowtown. I would stay there again!

Hotel clerks and shuttle service staff were very helpful and friendly. Our bathroom had hair left on the floor, though. The expo center next to the hotel was run down and a bit of an eyesore. No attention paid to it's grounds or upkeep.

We stayed for 3 nights. First day after be gone all day came back to room to find that our room was not cleaned. Second day they made the bed and cleaned bathroom however did not vacuum. Over all comfort and condition of hotel was great. One block from the T. No restaurant or stores nearby.

The hotel room was very clean, and the soft (and warm!) cookies given on arrival are delicious. The bathroom was plain but clean, and the room was tastefully appointed. This hotel is perfect for pre and post cruise stays. They provide a free shuttle that goes to the airport, cruise terminal and downtown. There is also a T stop close by. The only downside is that there is very little nearby so taking the shuttle or T into Boston is a necessity for a nice dinner or siteseeing. My stay was a horrible experience and I would advise others to spend the extra cash and stay in North Boston. First our toilet over flooded. Very unsatifisfied. Number one I had to pay parking that wasnt mentionned at time of booking.I could have stayed at Marriot for the same price with free parking. The hotel looked like a Super8 that had seen a feeble improvement attempt. It was also incredibly annoying that the only free wireless was in the lobby and it didn't work well. This is not a bad place to stay really. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel does not sport a restaurant but does offer a little breakfast shop with sandwiches and starbucks coffee for purchase. The staff at the breakfast nook were very slow, and two of the three staff members there were not welcoming and had attitudes. I didn't eat there but the […] coffee was fresh. The staff at the front desk will hand you a list of local restaurants, and print directions if you ask, but don't expect too much advice. They were nice though. The cookie they hand you during check-in is delicious. I would stay here again if I needed an inexpensive room just an exit or two from the main attractions.
