Extremely efficient, friendly and accommodating staff from the porters, to the front desk to the concierge to room service. The bonus of having a car and driver available was a wonderful convenience and luxury. (The drivers were outstanding as well.) Will definitely return to stay here when next we are in Boston!

We have stayed at 15 Beacon Street for many years. Coming back again was a very pleasant experience. From the minute the person standing on the sidewalk ready to open the door to leaving to return home, everyone makes you feel welcome. An added plus for our stay was the house car. Readily available and very knowledgeable drivers. With so many choices in Boston hotels, we definitely made the right one.

The first room we checked into had several issues, and the once the hotel was notified us, immediately moved us to an upgraded room. A hotel of this caliber should not have that many problems in one room. Excellent recovery by the staff. Staff is very attentive and the LEXUS car service is a great feature and the driver Paul was EXCELLENT!

Hotel is beautiful and staff was very helpful. The fireplace in the room is great during the winter. The only gripe I have is that the mattress and pillows are very uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed staying with the wonderful staff at XV Beacon! The location is very convenient to a lot of great Back Bay locations like Copley Plaza and you can walk a few doors to Ruth's Chris steakhouse or enjoy the fantastic restaurant Mooo... in XV Beacon. In addition to very comfortable rooms, the hotel offers a private car to drop you off wherever you want to go including Logan airport! The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff is exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. We loved that every room has a fireplace!

This hotel is on the pricey side but so worth every penny. If you're looking for a getaway this hotel is close to so many things in boston. We went to see the Eagles at TD Garden and it was a half mile away. We loved the service, the room, and they have this shower head that's like a waterfall. We were sad to leave but would definitely stay there again.

Located in an awesome spot in the city for walking and exploring, 15 Beacon Hotel is a great find for a vacation stay. It is an upscale hotel that still feels like a Bed and Breakfast. We stayed at 15 Beacon for our wedding anniversary in September 2014 and had the best experience. The special details and customer service made our trip very special.

We were only there for one day but our stay was excellent in every way. One matter of convenience that we enjoyed the most was the hotel car sponsored by Lexus. This relieved much stress about getting about in a timely manner. The gas fireplace was especially romantic.

Very bad experience. Terrible front desk attitude. On check in. It was well past 3 PM and I was informed room is not ready. No explanation. No expression of regret. Then suddenly another person came and offered another room that was ready.His colleague gave him a look but neither offered any explanations. Room Disappointing. Nest day in the morning taking a shower was a nightmare. The water was hot and there is no way you could get lukewarm or cold water. The water was so hot we had to take shower in multiple interrupted sessions. The Front desk informed us that this is an old building and let water run for some time.. When the water was still hot after 10 min, they offered to call the engineer. We had to leave and could wait no longer. It is grossly overrated hotel. Th rooms are small and cramped. No lobby work speaking of. Gives you the feel of an upgraded fancy motel and not a 4 or 5 star hotel. but the service and maintenance is horrible.

For a hotel with top rating and top prices, very disappointing indeed. The worst of it: Toilet didn't work easily, no exhaust fan in bathroom. No bathtub. Requested extra pillows, never arrived. Lobby way too small of a space to even meet, greet, let alone hold an information conversation. Online hotel picks becoming more like online dating: what you see is NOT what you get. Photos of lobby and room size appeared very different from the reality.

My wife and I stayed here the weekend of Jan. 24th, 2014 for a two night stay as a quick getaway weekend. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel, the location, the amenities and friendliness of the staff. Despite the frigid temperatures, virtually the entire city was walkable from the hotel and when the wind was too biting, the complementary Lexus sedan escort was a wonderful perk, they even drove us back to the airport! The fireplace in the room, luxurious bed and contemporary decor were wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet stay in the heart of the city.

We stay at 4 and 5 stars often, and XV Beacon is up there with the best. The room is a solid, large rectangle. The entire one wall is huge, bright windows with the drapes open. With them closed, it is a luxury setting, delightful large bed, fireplace on the other end, and more than enough room for your stay. The bath has all the comforts of top european brands, complete with in wall TV, towel warmers and a huge shower. The radio was playing softly when we arrived. Complimentary fruits in several places on each floor. Fully stocked bar and snack center, with high quality choices. Going to dinner? Don't call a cab. XV has a chauferred Lexus sedan to take you whereever you are going, no charge. The drivers were incredibly knowledgable about Boston history, architecture, and much more. Or, if you wanted quiet, the sedan had full passenger control audio and climate in the back, so you make the choices. Need anything at all? The concierge went out of their way for all our requests, and everything was ready on time. We would stay here everytime we come to Boston. Give it a try and I think you will too.

We chose this hotel because of its location. The rooms were rather small, but beautifully appointed. The mattress was super comfortable (Frette bedding certainly didn't hurt!), the fireplace added to the ambiance, and the small shower was soon forgotten because of the rainshower head. The staff could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. The rates were a bit on the high end, but I would stay there again on our next visit to Boston!

I rented a hotel room for the night for a little "stay-cation" for my husband's birthday. We had plans to go to Mooo for dinner so I figured it would be a nice surprise to stay in the city for a night. Upon entering the room, it was extremely hot and stuffy. I tried to turn down the thermostat but it seemed to be stuck at 80 degrees. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up to fix it. 20 min later we had to leave the room and go for a walk because it was so hot. When we returned the temp had still not moved, even after they tried to fix it. We called downstairs again to tell them we would like to change rooms because it was still extremely hot and obviously wasn't getting any cooler. The girl at the front desk told me that they were going to come up and open the windows and put in some fans to to try and get the temp down because she was sold out and did not have another room to give me. Umm, seriously?? $350+ a night and you want me to try and sleep with huge fans blowing on me?? No way. We went downstairs 15 minutes later because we had dinner reservations and she said that someone had checked out an hour ago and she had another room for me. So, as I had suspected, she just didn't want to give me another room because 1.) 15 min earlier she told me the hotel was sold out but then somehow someone had checked out an hour ago?? 2. Who checks out at 7pm?? Not worth the price if you ask me. Go down the street to the W and get better service

The room was gorgeous! But we were supposed to have a king-sized bed and got a queen. Other than that the staff, service and furnishings were wonderful. It was also nice to have a fireplace in the room, but the sofa is in the way when looking at the fireplace while still in bed.

For the cost I'd say there are better hotels out there - unfortunately in Boston however there isn't much choice in the boutique category. The beds in particular are shameful - open sprung as opposed to pocket sprung - no excuse.

This was a great place to stay in Boston -- and you pay for what you get. That's a note. Though there were construction in the area -- that's temporary. We had a fireplace failure, but Patrick at the desk immediately found us a room to move. You want a great place to stay: go.

This is surely one of the nicest hotels in Boston. We stayed here for a week in May 2013, and I must say I haven't stayed in a nicer hotel! The attention they pay to detail is amazing. There is EVERYTHING you require in your room, and the room is a good size and the bed is very comfortable. The restaurant (Moo) is excellent both for dinner and breakfast, and the staff in the hotel are like friends. An added bonus - the hotel has limousines for the use of guests on request!!

This is a superb hotel in almost every way. Very well located for business, shopping, sight seeing...close to the airport (everything is in Boston, but you don't always know that until you get there!#. Extremely comfortable, the fireplaces in the rooms are a special touch and the widescreen TV very welcome. The bed was large, comfortable and had high quality bed linen. The bathroom was excellent, with plenty of towels and toiletries. The concierge was especially helpful, finding two excellent restaurants at short notice and making reservations. The house car #complimentary# was brilliant, though keep in mind to book ahead as it wasn't always available. The breakfast was superb and not unreasonably priced. My only slight hesitation is that though the first night we received a turn down service, we did not the second night #despite turning the indicator light to 'service' and the concierge knowing we were out to dinner. For a hotel of this standard and tariff, it is something I expect each evening. It was a little disappointing to find that the service was not consistent in that regard.

Nous avons été accueillis comme des rois, le personnel est incroyablement souriant et quoi dire de la chambre et de la salle de bain... Tout était complètement parfait! En plein centre ville, à 2 minutes de marche des plus beaux parcs. Tout près des restaurants et des magasins... Le personnel se fait un plaisir de vous menez ou bon vous sembles dans la ville a l'aide de leurs services de limousine si spacieuse.
