We came from Philadelphia for a family wedding in Palm Desert. This hotel was perfectly located between all of the places we had to go - family's home, shopping, and the wedding itself. The room's decor was a little bit old fashion, but to my surprise the bed was super comfortable, loved the pillows. The WiFi didn't work, but overall we had a good time, I will definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable and quiet. would stay here again. I was able to grab a cab from the JW Marriott to my hotel in the time it took folks to walk to their rooms at the conference center. Was very convenient.

The hotel was relatively new. Very nice looking lobby. Our room was clean, odd furniture placement though with the bed facing the windows, but it was comfortable. The neighborhood was really quiet, probably one of the quietest hotels I have ever been in. Other than the people above us making a little bit of noise at 6 am (but the walls must be pretty […] thick as I could barely hear them). It was fine. Everything worked and it was close to where we wanted to go. It did not help that I found a long hair in my food at Applebee's and my friend found a fly. It was disgusting.

In addition to the title of my review, I found the location very convenient for my purposes. Palm Desert is pretty spread out, so unless you intend to only visit around HWY 111, this is a fairly central location, particularly for the quality you get at the price. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I think it's been a long time since I've been in a hotel room that didn't have a little refrigerator. It would have made my stay with my grandchildren a lot simpler if we hadn't had to fill the ice bucket and worry about how to keep milk cold.

We paid for a room with a Fridge and didn't get one. I told an employee that the air conditioning controls were broken ,yet nobody responded. It was way to hot in the daytime, and very cold at night. Hotel was a construction zone, and Expedia and Marriott failed to disclose. We had to dodge construction trucks in the back. Lobby was a converted room. We couldn't get reception to answer one night to set a wake up call, so I had to get out of bed and put clothes on and walk down to lobby / room, where the staff was watching TV. Closet door sliders […] were broken, bathroom has no sink. Entry doors are cumbersome with luggage. When we called 411 to get directions, the number we called was a national switchboard, and the operator insisted there was no "Courtyard by Marriott on Frank Sinatra", over and over. We finally found it by accident. Why wouldn't you just give the number to the hotel, so I could call the staff while they slept on the couch ? Never again. Read more

Clean and modern room decor but a/c unit would not shut off it did not cool the room adequately.Fan was recycling uncooled air. Wash hand basin faucet needed some serious pressure to stop it from dripping. This Courtyard Marriott is a bit outdated, but thankfully a renovation is scheduled for this summer. Hopefully the updates will bring this property on par with what I have come to expect at a Courtyard Marriott property. Basically, the furnishings and decor are older and need to be refreshed. My room was comfortable and clean, but I felt like I had […] walked back into 1985 in terms of visual appeal. Also, there was no central air in the building for some reason. The cooling/heating unit in the room was a significant distraction while I tried to study. It was noisy, blew my papers off the desk, and made me chilly. The "business center" consists of a single computer and one printer in an area adjacent to the lobby. I recommend adding 1-2 additional computers so guests do not have to wait, and enclosing this area to make it quiet for those guests who need to get some work done. The lobby was large and brightly lit but otherwise unremarkable. The lone (small) elevator was in a strange place down the hall from the front desk and blended into the wall. The staff was professional and friendly as always. The location was convenient to the 10 freeway and a few restaurants. Parking and wireless internet is free. Pool was small, and quickly crowded by people camping out on the steps. Snacks in the machine at the lobby were exorbitant: $3.50 for a drumstick ice-cream?? Really? Not a complimentary breakfast, like Best Westerns have. No refrigerator in the room. However, not a bad price and it was clean. Bed was comfortable. AC was noisy.

My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Palm Desert was very enjoyable. My room was very nice and well maintained by the hotel staff. The people at the front desk were always very cheerful and helpful to me. I couldn't ask for a better hotel during my stay in the Palm Desert area.

The entire staff was very helpful with the exception of young blond female on front desk morning of check-out. I said we have backed up toilet and would appreciate having it fixed asap while we were having the breakfast buffet. She barely acknowledged my request.
