Room was cold at night - particularly noticeable for those just arrived from US. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent. It was also very kind of staff to let us check in early, as we had arrived at airport very early in morning.

The rooms where cold. Front desk was very helpful in all areas . Hard for us to find the hotel . No directions on reservation just number. Close to airport and great location for early departure . Mall is close but closes at 6pm. Other good food close. We liked it. Oh...one more thing. The hot water just blasts!

When we arrived at Shannon court hotel it was late and we'd been traveling by bus all day. They still had food and the pub was still open with an amazing staff and the most talented live band. This was our first trip to Ireland and our only regret was not staying longer at this hotel!

For the price of the room, it was GREAT! Clean, comfortable, well kept, safe, and fifteen minutes from the Shannon Airport. And inexpensive, as well. We stayed the last night before an early morning flight. All we needed was a safe, clean, comfortable place to sleep. It fit the bill 100%. We'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very close to the airport. It is old, the beds are small, and somewhat lumpy. Our window wouldn't close, and the phone didn't work. The town is very small, and there aren't that many places to eat, and everything closes very early. But we were very tired from hours of travel, and the next day it was very close to Bun Ratty castle.

I needed a place to stay near the airport to catch an early morning flight. When I arrived, the desk clerk mentioned options of taxi or bus, and found out for me the time of the bus I could catch in the morning. I neglected to ask where the bus stop was, the clerk didn't offer that information, and the next morning when I left to get the 6:30 a.m bus, […] there was no one at the desk to ask where the bus stop was. I ended up taking a taxi. (The bus stop is very near the hotel, bus is not obvious; if you're a sleepy and fatigued traveler, it's not readily apparent.) It would be very helpful if the hotel had an info map in the rooms and also posted at the desk indicating where the bus stop is and bus timetables. Read more

We coasted into the Shannon Court running on fumes after a whirlwind 10-day tour of SW Ireland. This was our last night in Ireland and we booked this place ONLY because it was close to the Shannon airport - we had an early flight out and the room was very inexpensive. For what we wanted (a reasonably priced place to crash close to the airport) the place […] was fine. Exactly that - fine. Not great, not awful. The room could have used some vacuuming, and the in-room furniture was pretty beat-up. Bathroom was clean and room was large (one double and one twin). TV was small. Hallways smelled faintly of smoke but room was OK in that regard. Walls are very thin - could hear neighboring occupants chatting in the evening. Some traffic noise, but not bad. On-site pub/restaurant was a pretty lively place - seems popular with locals as well as airport-bound transients. Food from the in-house chinese restaurant was edible but not memorable. All-in-all the place was OK and a very good value for an airport crash pad. Caution to travelers: the "town" of Shannon has VERY few amenities. A couple of gas stations, a McDonald's, a sparsely stocked grocery store, and a bar or two. That it! If you're looking for groceries or good food nearby, look elsewhere. :) Read more

Large room, good water pressure and heat, clean, very close to airport. A good place to stay if you're catching an early flight the next day and want to be near the airport. Otherwise, there isn't much going on in Shannon or much of a reason to stay there overnight.

A short drive from the Shannon airport and easily accessible. Simple but clean accommodation with en suite facilities. Staff were rarely to be seen, but helpful when encountered. I chose this hotel because it offered free internet was the cheapest in Shannon. My flight landed at 7:00 AM and even though room check-in doesn't officially start until 2:00 PM, the clerk at the front desk happily checked me in 6 hours early (at no additional charge) so I could get some rest. The building is old, so it shows wear and tear, but the […] room and facilities were clean. I had no problem getting to the hotel from the airport using the bus; in fact, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The carpet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time, there were COBWEBS hanging from the ceiling in various places and the television had no remote control and didn't work very well. The night front desk person was very helpful(we checked-in at night). Nice clean room. I have a little difficulty with balancing the water temperature, or maybe it's just me. Over all we were very satisfied with this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
