I've stayed at this hotel twice because the rooms are nice for the price. However finding parking was difficult both times I stayed here. Also, get up early for the breakfast because there were alot of people in line both times as well.

For the money it was a good deal; however, the area outside the bathroom where one brushes their teeth and fixes their hair was extremely small and limited in space. Other than that, I had no other complaints. Bed was comfortable and I really liked the down comforter on the bed as opposed to a heavy blanket. Very, very nice!! I would be inclined to stay there again. Staff was extremely courteous. Full breakfast somewhat misleading, but that could be overlooked as there was plenty to eat if you like carbs. Would have liked to have seen some yogurt out there.

My entire family went to stlouis for my sons birthday going to the zoo etc. We just needed a decent hotel to lay our heads and enjoy a pool with the kids! The hotel was packed with kids that were with a large group and were completely unsupervised. The hotel should have made it alittle more clear to the very few adults these kids couldnt take over the pool without adult supervision which was posted. The hotel was disgusting filthy by the pool because those kids took over and destroyed, we had to take our kids out of the pool it was so bad. Our room was very nice for such a cheap rate. This hotel needs to enforce their supervision rules and keep the pool open later then 9pm thats just crazy!

Though the weather was oppressive in terms of heat, the accommodations were good for the fact that the room was cool and comfortable. The room had a nice layout and was good sized. Our booking stated a bar and breakfast accommodations, which was misleading since the breakfast was self-serve with muffins, cereal, and no bar service available. Your nearest dining options were fast food places, so you need to research options outside this area for decent food. Since this was a former Doubletree, I imagine the new ownership has work to do on creating a new image for the hotel. A recreational trip for my wife and I. Would serve well enough for business.

First, upon arrival the front desk worker was very rude to us. We had a receipt showing we paid for two nights, whereas they only had us reserved for one. Finally after getting that resolved, we got to our room and it reeked of mildew. The AC unit was sripping constantly on the carpet and when we informed the front desk, again we were treated rudely and nothing was done. The rooms and hallways are filthy. The breakfast is a joke. The service is terrible. Sleeping in the parking lot is a better option than here...

Well to start off our rooms weren't ready and we were 30 minutes past check in time. When we got to them they were still cleaning them. Mind you this is 3:30 in the afternoon. And when they cleaned the rooms they threw the towels and trash cans into the hallway. The Hotel needs to supply their employees with the proper tools to do their job. Bigger laundry baskets and trashcans to dump the small ones into. Then the air didn't work in one room and when they went to change our room they couldn't get the door open in that room. Finally we got a room where everything worked. Until the toilet got clogged up. Luckily we were on our way out the door. Not so lucky for the employees. Not to mention the false advertising. I was looking at a different hotel but picked this one for all the amnemities it had. Gameroom, pool table, game consoles in the room, and pool. The only thing it had was the pool. And it was nasty. So Buyer Be REAL AWARE!

I have an eye for detail and I wish the hotel staff did to. It's the little things that are the difference between "oh well" and "nice". I didn't expect high-end but I can never understand when minor maintenance issues are allowed to go un-repaired. Corner moldings loose, grimy floors in the elevator, dirty stairwells... like I said little things but they add up. Also, my room had no soap or shampoo, when I asked at the desk, he started to make an excuse, then reached under the counter to produce the needed toiletries from a rather skimpy supply. Overall a mixed bag, might stay again in a pinch, for the right price.

At 7:00 it was better in terms of the food but the room was uncomfortably cold. The hotel is convenient to nothing except a gross little taco stand. The parking lot is filled with giant potholes. My room had a door connecting it to another room, and upon checkin I discovered that it was UNLOCKED and the people staying next to me could have enetered my room at any time.

The down comforters and pillows provided the bets night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel, and even though the hotel is near an airport, the planes were not too loud. Staff at this hotel were friendly and courteous. I accidentally broke the coffee carafe in my room, and the hotel provided prompt clean-up, a new carafe, and no extra charge to my account. The front desk also provided good directions to a nearby restaurant. Whenever we go to St. Louis, my husband and I intend to revisit this hotel.

There were no scrambled eggs, just hard boiled and no other hot food besides waffles and I was diabetic. There was not enough parking for the crowd they had.
