"Great for a little shut eye."
Just needed a couple hours of shut eye before my flight and this place did the trick! Smelled a little smokey outside but my room was fine and humid when I came. Immediately turned on A/C and within 30 minutes had the room chilly. Free cable, slow wifi, and airport shuttle. Front desk clerk was very friendly too!

Was advertised on hotels.com that it had a sofa bed. We got this room bc our children had shared beds for a week on vacation and figured they could have one night separate. It did not have a sofa bed. TV remote didn't work, and hotel was incredibly hot and humid. Hotel room door had a big scrape down the front like someone tried forcing their way in. Door was it flush to frame and had a small crack that you could see out into hall.

"Management needs to clean it up"
Obviously this hotel has changed hands several times since there are still signs in front for Clarion, Ramada,and Quality Inn. Very hard to tell where you are staying and to locate the hotel. There are missing and broken floor tiles in the lobby and the rooms.Carpeting throughout is stained and worn out. A good pressure wash washing along the driveway would go a long way in cleaning up the entrance. TV did not work and there was no morning coffee. The morning shuttle bus was old and dirty. The redeeming feature was the staff who were very friendly and helpful.

"Sleep before early morning flight"
We were traveling three hours to the airport and our flight was leaving at 5:30 a.m., so we got a room. The lobby was nicely renovated. The rooms were worn and older, but the woman at the desk was extremely helpful and nice. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We asked for a 4 am wake up call. We got it. We asked for a 4:30 am shuttle ride. We got it. We asked for advice on the best place to park and we were allowed to stay parked at the hotel for $5 a day which is a lot less than any of the lots. When we returned to the airport and we called for a ride back. Van came for us in about 10 minutes.

The lobby looked like it was updated, but that was it. Their was garbage in the halls and elevator leading up to the room. We called the front desk 3 times without an answer. The condo had recently changed names and was difficult to locate. The telephone number given on the hotels.com confirmation was not the number to the hotel making finding it even more difficult.

I found the hotel staff to be helpful and understanding of some of our special needs. The rooms were clean but just a bit dated. Understood that going into this reservation. I have nothing bad to say about this place. It's worth the money paid.

"What happened to these airport hotels?"
Thought I should be paying $50-60 per night instead of $80 for the room. it was rundown, musty, dark. The carpets in the hallway are stained beyond belief. The rooms need updating. Thankfully the bed was okay, and the service staff were frendly and accomodating, but we will not be staying here again.

"Disappointed"
I was very disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of the hotel. In addition, the entire reason of staying at this particular property was to have access to the airport shuttle. I waited over an hour for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. After several phone calls I eventually had to take a cab. The hotel did pay the cab fare, but the time wasted was more than inconvenient on a tight travel schedule.

"Should have saved my money and slept in airport"
I got this hotel last minute, because my flight was cancelled. I just needed a place to sleep for the night. The man who picked me up from the airport, as well as the woman who took me back to the airport, were both fantastic, but that is about where the greatness ended. The person at the desk, both checking in and out, was not pleasant or helpful at all. The room was clean, but very stuffy and humid. The lights in the hall and bathroom are on sensors, and kept coming on all through the night. The air conditioner was not working properly so I got little sleep due to the stuffiness in the room. The bathroom toilet took three times to flush properly as well as the air vent in there didn't work, so after the shower you were never dry enough to get dressed. About 6:30 in the morning, people started talking and yelling in the hallway. The door and walls must be very thin, because it sounded like they were right by my bed. Also, this went on throughout the rest of the morning. Nothing was said about breakfast being served, so I assume that this hotel doesn’t offer it. Also, there is no restaurant on the premises as stated on Hotels.com. I paid too much for this hotel to have a place to lay down and be disturbed all night. I would have done much better by just sleeping in the airport.

"Rundown Hotel with Bad Service"
The rooms are okay but Hotel is quite run down. Carpets are old and dirty. Breakfast room was closed down and coffee and muffin served in a small area of the lobby. No coffee or water served after breakfast hours. Desk clerk not friendly. Did not even have eye contact with the guest. I would not stay there again!

Was not the best, was not the worst I've stayed at. Great price, for a reason. Really disappointed that I chose it for the pool as well, and then the pool was closed. With no notice on the website, and no notice in hotel until you got all ready and went to the pool. Very disappointed. So was my daughter. The pool being closed was not handled the right way. Would have picked a different hotel had I known.

They were in a remodeling phase. The help was very courteous. The room was very clean. The grounds could have used a little more clean-up work. The neighborhood was not the best but the hotel was close to a lot of restaurants. I definitely WILL stay there again.

"Close to airport"
Staff was efficient and pleasant. I was only here a brief time as I was catching a flight very early in the morning. Airport shuttle arrived promptly and driver was courteous. This hotel seems to be under construction/change of ownership, but the room was clean and everything worked as it should.

"Buyer beware"
I booked this hotel based on the write up on hotels.com. It stated that the hotel was a Ramada, but the write up refers to the hotel as the Clarion Hotel Airport. It also states that there was a restaurant on site, which there was NOT. There were several fast food restaurants within walking distance including directly across the street. The hotel is in need of a good renovation. The biggest advantage is it is close to the airport and took less than 5 minutes to get to the Southwest terminal. The room was clean and comfortable, which is another good point as well as the price, but you get what you pay for. Wish they had an on-ste restaurant as advertised.

The front desk personnel were pleasant and professional. The hotel hallways were on the shabby side, but for the most part maintained. The carpeting in the room had some sticky spots, but otherwise clean. Would stay there again.

"Nice hotel close to Stl airport."
While there, my wife rented a conference room for her sister's bridal shower. It was nice & convenient to be able to host a party right there. Hotel may want to consider replacing some of the carpet in the walkways, conference rooms, & commons areas.

"Hotel near airport"
Awful. Was told it was free to leave my car there but it wasn't. Parking was extremely questionable. No lights on outside of hotel. Everything trashed. Flashing alarm light made me feel very unsafe.

Hotel was good but in regards to the room... The fridge and microwave didn't work, the restroom lights are motion sensored so the lights turned off for some reason meanwhile I was showering. When I was watching tv, out of no where non of the channels would work for a while.

"You get what you pay for"
We chose this hotel because it was cheap. It is transitioning from a Clarion to Ramada, so don't expect Ramada quality... You cant see the sign at night, so I'm glad we arrived during daylight hours. Its lobby is beautiful, the rooms however are in need of an update. The bed was uncomfortable for me, husband didn't seem to mind it though. Breakfast was basically pastries... It's about 15 minutes from downtown & 6 minutes from Ferguson.

"Horrible Hotel"
Breakfast bar "in maintenance" No adjoining rooms when I got there-asked for them 2 weeks in advance Took a whole 1 hr to check in--- couldn't find reservation Grumpy desk person--no smile--no apology--no nothing Hotel is not as nice as pictured--Front desk is only thing updated Indoor pool is seasonal when reservations were made it does not say that. Says it's a clarion but it's a ramada. Not all rooms have micro/fridges- website said upon request. desk clerk said they are for the better rooms on on request.although she moved one to one of our rooms for not having adjoining. But it was filthy have pics of fridge it was molded and filthy. Dining restaurant/bar in hotel not open Said 6 min from zoo it's more like 25 All in all was a very disappointing/horrible stay. One of our 2 rooms was still not cleaned at at 542pm even after 3 attempts. Cleaned my own fridge with some pink alkaline Ecolab stuff. When asked if a manager was availble she said " no" and that was all she said, no offer for when and where to contact one. I asked if there would be one in the morning. She said "8-5" but offered nothing else.

"water dripping in the bathroom from ceiling"
There was water dripping over the bathroom stool the entire time, and water on the bathroom floor, as a result of the dripping water. Each time I sat on the stool, water dripped on me from the ceiling. Nothing was done about it until Saturday (I was there Thursday night through Sunday morning). When the repairmen left, they left plaster and debris all over the bathroom floor.

"Great place to suggest to your enemies"
Check-in was FAST, and there is where it ended. The person at the desk was very “short” with us. “Here is your key”, “Wi-Fi” password is: xxx”, “you already paid through Expedia so we don’t need a CC’d”, “Pool is closed til April”. We parked in the rear of the building, and carried our items through the halls with walls that appeared to have recently been shed of their wallpaper and re-painted by a band of toddlers, and floors covered in stained and ripped carpets, to the elevator circa: 1988. Once arriving at our floor, it became clear that the peeling wallpaper, stained and torn carpet was the style, rather than a hotel concern. Our room had motion sensor lights rather than switches so if you stopped moving for any period of time it was lights out! The stains on the carpet were worse in the room and we decided it was a good idea to keep our shoes on till we climbed into bed. The airport noise is minimal and is masked by the constantly running toilet. The bed was soft and was rather comfortable except for the slight tilt towards the bottom , but it was the mini – couch style pillows that were an issue. Hey for the price, last minute, and the fact that we carry good car insurance and even better life insurance, this establishment was great! Just look for the vinyl banner screwed to the building as there is no lit sign. The taped ink-jet printed “under construction” sign on the door would have been believable, if some tell-tale signs of work was going on.

The hotel was dirty, the elevators looked like they hadn't been mopped in months. The walls were dirty, holes in the carpet, staff was unfriendly. I should have paid the extra$30 and stayed down the road

"Game day"
The Ramada was fine. The room was nice and big. The only think I don't like about this hotel is the parking lot. A great big truck parked right outside our room (with a loud motor) and it woke me up. However, if the price is good, I would stay there again.
