David InterContinental Tel Aviv - Tel Aviv

We only stayed one night before flying out the next morning. Wish we could have been there longer as we did not have time to really enjoy all of the hotel's fabulous amenities. Great location - one block to beach and one block to Carmel Market.

After a trip through hot archeological ruins, arrival at this luxury hotel was so so wonderful. I would stay here the rest of my life (if I could afford it). The swimming pool was particularly refreshing. No little kids or greasy sunbathers to mess up the water. I was able to do my laps in a clean pool and relax with a book in a shady space. A very lovely facility. My room on the 19th floor overlooking the water was great. Don't use the mini bar, coke was 6 dollars a can. Pool area is wonderful and so are breakfasts. Just across the street from that mediterranean Sea.

Overall mostly good... some annoying "nickel and diming" like charging $10/hour for internet -- totally ridiculous. We were double charged for our excursion to Jerusalem which took one too many phone calls to sort out.

This is a big, new, shiny hotel. We moved from the Sheraton down the street (uugh super outdated rooms) which was painful as a Starwood Gold Level member. We booked this hotel because we have had very good experiences at other Intercontinental hotels. We were not disappointed. This Intercontinental Hotel is quite old and rooms are not up to date. Not even on the executive floors. Breakfast good. Location not the best. Good views of the ocean.

Beautiful hotel in great location, well managed but lacks warmth. Hotels.com rate was good but extending a day resulted in higher rate. Also, many extra charges i.e.: internet, parking, breakfast etc.

we were there twice over December 2012 / January 2013 for a few days each time check-ins & departures were quick [i forgot this was also available for us on the Club floor, but downstairs was fine] everything works - staff are always pleasant interiors are a little dated

The hotel is very nice. I didnt have much interaction with the staff but we had a nice stay. One yhing that made the stay there sour is an very expensive price on internet. The hotel does bot offer free internet anywhere even in the lobby and charge 15$ per day on internet!!!

staff are not always the most helpful and friendly, but the hotel facilities and cleanliness very good. The Intercontinental has a great pool area and also the location means it is only 5mins walk to the beach.

for the price they charged I was looking for the "wow" factor but discovered it was nothing to cheer about. room had outdated furniture but must admit the king bed was awesome..should have stayed in bed...haha. view was good but windows dirty. pool nice but nothing special and location good if you want to be near jaffa or the sleeze of south tel aviv […] but if you want to be near the nicer shops then this hotel is not for you. again...nice hotel but nothing special and will certainly go somewhere else next time. This is my fourth stay at the hotel - the first three times were fine but now there seems to be a lot of staff in training, resulting in mixed up addresses, credit card details and a lowered standard of cleanliness. Small pool limited rooms with balconies to sit out . Housekeeping worst experienced recently in Israel. Debris on our balcony throughout our stay.This really is the main gripe especially as due to a cold I spent longer in the room than anticipated. Advertised turndown service in evening. No one arrived before we turned in at 10pm.
