All the front desk staff were very polite and very nice to talk to. They engaged pleasant conversation with the guest. Although the complimentary shuttle is primarily for airport transport servcices, not only that they accomodated us but they offerred by taking us to the train station. Awesome!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Courtyard by Marriott Portland North Harbour"
Tough to find with out an up-to-date GPS of some sort. The front desk had no record of me paying extra for the 'stay for breakfast' option. Awkward Had I known of the limited offering, I would not have pre-paid extra for breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No refrigerator or microwave oven in rooms. They tried to change me for breakfast that was included with the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"If you don't want to pay downtown prices...."
It was fine, just noisy between the rooms. We could walk to the TriMet to get a train into town, or the hotel offered to drive us to the train. Breakfast was not included since we booked through a third-party, but it was very good and very reasonably priced. Bathroom was stark.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a normal Courtyard"
Not up to the normal Courtyard, more of a poor Holiday InnGenuine Expedia guest review
Great room, comfortable bed and convenient location. The digital tv is annoyingly pixelated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, but..."
It was the closest thing to where we needed to be but there were a few things we sacrificed...poor parking arrangements, poor restaurant service (every other table was dirty with crumbs and old dishes), bathrooms were lack luster and dated, beds were lumpy and uncomfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Good Nights Sleep."
Was a clean and well stocked room with secure parking. Would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Average, but Super Staff!"
Everyone at the hotel was super nice, recommending restaurants, calling cabs for me, you name it. Matt, Sara and Bruce were very accommodating and made my stay pleasant. The hotel is not in a nice area, but it is on the Interstate and easily accessible. I would recommend if someone needed to be in that specific area, and should I need to visit that […] office again, I will consider staying with these nice folks. Clean, efficient, but noisy from highway, trains, riverGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Off the beaten path...unfortunately."
I typically stay at the Courtyard by Marriott near Lloyd Center during frequent trips to Portland. This time I booked online in too much of a hurry, and erroneously prepaid for a room at this very inconvenient location tucked into the back of a small development in an isolated area by Interstate 5 and the Columbia River. I would not have been able to […] find it had I not had GPS available. Its secure parking was much appreciated, as was that the on-site restaurant was open for dinner, though the salmon I ordered was not prepared as described on the menu. "We were uncomfortable and forgotten @ No. Harbor"
Not only were the beds the WORST I've ever attempted to sleep on but housekeeping totally forgot us and I had to ask for towels for the extra day. It was as if they took our credit card and then simply forgot us. On top of all that, my daughter and husband were burned by the chemicals in the jacuzzi the first night!! Her skin was on fire for over 24 […] hours after and my husband's eyes and throat were affected for at least 12 hours. Internet service was slower than molasses to boot. Surely there are better places to stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"the view of the river"
The room was way to small for a king size bed with cot ,for two men. Coffee pot was dead when we got there. not even a fridge to keep your beers and perishables in....for the money we payed ... this room was not what we had expected from a Marriot hotel...our breakfast in the mourning was non existant (we waited a long time for the serve yourself breakfast […] bar to be replenished) and the $11.00 charge shocked us as the other fellows we talked to.... who were staying at the other Marriot down the road from us ,got a complimentary breakfast. Overall we were saddened by our experience and probably will not use this facility again ,regardless of its proximity to the Exhibition grounds...The van drivers were very cordial fellows ( vehicles were in good repair, comfortable)and we liked the convenience of the site. While we were there one of the elevators quit and was out of service (things happen) for the duration (in convenient ) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Handy hotel to I-5 on northern Portland harbour"
The location is great at the north end of Portland - easy access from I-5 but not noisy at all from the freeway - and the hotel was clean and our room was very comfortable w very pleasant and efficient staff. We also liked the secure basement parking garage. The food in the restaurant was so-so - breakfast buffet is very basic but a great waffle maker […] machine, and dinner was awful (including $11 cobb salad that was only lettuce, a bit of bacon and some indeterminable cheese - sent back due to lack of cobb salad ingredients). Overall, we would stay there again on our next trip to Portland but eat somewhere else. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"It's a hotel!"
A $60.00 airport ride from the airport/.There actually is a shuttle but the airport said there wasn't! Its in a condo/live in suites complex. Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Nothing to do or see within walking distance. The hotel itself is clean and average. Nice of of the river. Far from Portlands downtown. Overall its a hotel!Genuine Expedia guest review
They ran out of towels somehow? We only got two full sized towels for the four of us. Never seen that before.Genuine Expedia guest review
On the Columbia River at the very north edge of Portland - but very convenient. Just off I5 and, bonus, at the end of the Light Rail Line (Max) into the city (well a 7 minute walk). For $5 you can ride the rail, streetcars and busses all over the place, have a few drinks at dinner and ride it back. Downtown Portland is very walkable and the transit […] very easy to use for longer distances. Classic Courtyard with small restaurant and bar, secure parking, good staff. Several other hotels nearby and at least one good restaurant (we only tried one) down the street. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I picked this hotel based on the location but it is quite hard to find. The person that checked us in offered no information whatsoever, besides our room number. The hide a bed was not made up and we had to ask for bedding. We had bought the full breakfast on Expedia but apparently the hotel didn't know and so didn't provide the voucher needed. The […] restaurant was also disappointing, slow service and poor quality. We were there on July 4 so had a great view of the fireworks. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Underground parking rested pipes that were dripping on cars, stalls not wide enough for vehicles and the lighting was very dark. Very clean but the carpets need to be replaced. We enjoyed our stay, great staff as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For a family of 4 the rooms were rather on the small side so maybe we should have gone for a suite, the rooms also lacked a fridge which adain with small children would have been handy. However the hotel was in good order, good food, good wine and very convienent for the airport (rooms were very well sound proofed).Genuine Expedia guest review

This place is a standard Courtyard, but it is at the far north end of the Portland Metro area, right up against I-5 and the river. It has walking access to the Max yellow Line, which is about a 7 minute walk away. The reason you need to beware is, although it is an "airport" hotel, catering to businessmen, it is remote. If you are doing business downtown and don;t have a car, and don't want to take transit, there is a problem. First, it takes cabs forever to get to the hotel, and often they go to the wrong Marriott product (there are three in close proximity), or like it did with me, do not show up at all. We had to order a second cab, as the first after 45 minutes did not show, although they said they did. And the hotel manager and staff are not sympathetic or accommodating because, according to the manager who screamed "It's not the hotel's fault.... what do you want us to do about it????" at me. We were 30 minutes late for a meeting with a new client. The second day, we ordered our cab ourselves and it showed up on time. Will NOT stay there again. And I am a rewards member.
"Solid choice in North Portland"

The location is unusual when you drive in. It is in a rougher area, but surrounded by nice new apartments and other new hotels. HERE IS THE KEY TO THIS HOTEL - the river! Views of the river are amazing. Get a room with a balcony facing directly onto the river and you are living life! Not much right around the hotel and I would not want to walk too far or jog. Getting onto the 5 North end of day is horrible (30 minutes to drive 1 mile). The hotel feels a little older and the rooms have not been updated. There are hardly any outlets which is strange now days. The staff was SUPER nice, the parking garage was convenient and everything was clean. Fitness center was a little worn and tired, but ok.
"Great stay by airport!"
08/15/14 Ronnie R Ohio
Great place to stay turn your rental car in a day earlier before flying out the next morning! You can walk to some restaurants or shuttle. The have a reception on Wednesday nights for all guest that includes free o'deserves, beer, wine, pop and coffee. Shuttle service into the airport was about 7 minutes! I recommend you stay here I would just prefer a pool they only have a jacuzzi.
"Perfectly Nice Hotel"
08/07/14 Mike-5472 Seattle, Washington
Don't forget your bathing suit! Perfectly nice hotel. We loved it, the view of the water is great, the beds were super comfortable and the staff was professional. It was just a little hard to get to off I5 (it was dark and we are not used to the area). We did not eat here although the breakfast looked and smelled great. Its very convenient to shopping and eating downtown.
"Way below the Marriott Courtyard standard"
Not a fan of this hotel. I have stayed at dozens of Courtyard Hotels over the years. This one is really dated and feels like a motel. Overall, the service was okay, but the property is in major need of renovation. The beds are lousy compared with other Marriott Courtyards.
07/31/14 EdB125 Midvale, Utah
This is a very old Courtyard and not up to the standard of the newer Courtyards. This hotel does not place refrigerators, microwave overs, or safes in the rooms. The closet is very small. The hotel does serve breakfast and dinner for a moderate price. Some of the rooms do have a nice view of the river. If you are planning to visit in the Delta Park or Jansen Beach areas this would be an alternative, but if you are interested in the Portland Metro area other hotels would be much closer.

Oh god where to start no microwave ,no fridge for my baby formula i mean these two things should be the top amenities i have to run to the ice machine every morning and evening to store my baby formula and on top the coffe machine is out dated and it was stored right next to the sink how disgusting was that .VEry old was not worth 105 dollars i paid suckkkkkksssss should be more like 60 to 70 at the max only thing it was worth 60 to 70 was the fact it was on the hood river thats it i hate this hotet esp if you have kids u need to keep food and reheat something very inconvinent .... i suffered to two night three daysss..... sorry not gona come again
"Not bad but not great"
07/06/14 axwtravels Seattle, Washington
Location is nice along the river. The rooms were old. One major pet peeve is the way they made the bed. The duvet was bigger than the sheets that are supposed to cover it so it felt dirty. Who knows what's on that duvet. The bed was hard and not very comfy. There's not much around the hotel so plan on having a car.
"Mediocre for a courtyard"
07/06/14 Scott B Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
Do not expect to much from this courtyard. Old and needs renovating . Food is average but there are some local places worth searching out. It is clean, but very noisy to highway. If you are just basing on price it should be below $110.00 per night
06/10/14 Tracy M Vancouver, Canada
Stayed for 3 nights with several families attending a sports tournament. Staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. Rooms quite small though most (all?) have balconies. Clean hotel with average beds and linens. Food average and location somewhat odd, surrounded by highways and related ramps so a car is needed. Free parking, dinner room service, clean but basic pool and gym. Best feature: there are 3 Marriott properties in a row here and with your room key you can access amenities at all 3. So choose from indoor or outdoor pools, underground or above ground parking etc. Best amenity for our group was the very unusual, permanent outdoor basketball court in the property across the street.
