the staff was wonderful, I definitely recommend the hotel for their friendliness and central location. Parking was easy either on the private street or in the parking deck. Definitely try the cookies that are complimentary at the front desk!!!

What an unusual hotel! The hotel is built in an old arcade, which the rooms still overlook. The rooms are exactly what you would expect from a Residence Inn (comfortable, no fuss), but the hotel itself is quite extraordinary. The amenities are great (free coffee, fruit, candies, even free billiards). The location is fantastic - just around the corner from the lively East 4th street (think restaurants, bars, fairy lights) and down the street from the ever popular Horseshoe Casino. Very central. We'll be back for sure.

The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and clean. The only thing I would say wrong with the hotel is the towels were very cheap, and they charge for the breakfast. The price of the room was a little high for the area and I thing they could of put breakfast into the deal.

My husband and I were very disappointed with this hotel. We got to our room and unpacked. Then we discovered that the AC/Heat unit was broken. We called the front desk...they sent a repair man into our room to try and fix the unit. He couldn't fix it so they transferred us to a different room. We had to pack up all our things and move. The next room […] had an air unit that worked...but there was mold all in the unit. I woke up the next morning with a sore throat. When my husband and I went down to breakfast we told the lady working in the dining room that the price of our breakfast was included in or room price (that we payed through expedia). She checked with the front desk and came back to us saying that our breakfast was not covered but they agreed to let us eat anyways. The experience was overall negative. We will never stay there again. Way overpriced for this poor quality hotel. Read more

TO BEGIN, I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO OTHERS OR NOT, MY STAY WAS ONLY 1 NIGHT (HARDLY ENOUGH TIME TO MAKE AN OBJECTIVE DECISION), AND MY EXPERIENCE MAY NOT HAVE BEEN INDICATIVE OF THE TYPICAL LEVEL OF SERVICE (EVERYONE HAS AN "OFF DAY" FROM TIME TO TIME). HAVING SAID THAT, THE EXPERIENCE WAS NOT TOTALLY NEGATIVE, MY MAIN CONCERNS […] WERE THAT I HAD PAID FOR A ROOM THAT INCLUDED BREAKFAST FOR 2, THE HOTEL WASN'T SURE HOW TO ACCOMMODATE THIS, TOOK 2 FOLLOW-UPS TO RESOLVE; THE OTHER WAS THE MATTRESS, THE MOS UNCOMFORTABLE I'VE EVER SLEPT ON, IT LITERALLY FIT BETWEEN MY THUMB AND FOREFINGER, IT LOOKED LIKE THE MATTRESS FROM ONE OF THOSE FOLDING ROLL-A-WAY BEDS, AND IT HAD A PERMANENT INDENTATION IN THE MIDDLE.
