Great for going to the price is right. It is a 5 min walk from the line. Otherwise, it is pretty shabby, but it does have free parking and a breakfast.

This place... where to even start. Just walking up to the room we passed 2 hookers. I wish I would not have stayed there. The carpet in room 103 had noticeable stains on it. Parking is another story- how anything more than a Smart Car can get out of the parking ramp without scratching the paint.

This hotel has a comfortable bed and clean rooms, but doesn`t have restaurant neither a inside proper place for take the breakfast. The breakfast area is not good once is together with the front desk. Just a small place to sleep. The staff team are in general ungenerously. The pro is the price lower than others hotels in L.A.

Location was good; especially if you're heading across the street to the CBS studios. However, this is pretty much the only redeeming quality of this hotel. This place is a dump. Multiple items in the room (including one light switch and some items on the end table) were sticky, the door hinges were rusty, there was a golf ball sized hole in the ceiling, […] hair on one of the pillows, a peanut butter stain on the wall and the room smelled terrible. and the elevator and hallway are just gross. I could have lived with a room that is really, really tiny (no closet or bar to hang clothes from) since its a cheap hotel. But I'm really only willing to make this concession with the provision that the room itself is decent. But this place wasn't even vaguely acceptable. This is a motel, not a hotel. This hotel is perfect for those wanting a good location for a good price. This isnt quite as nce as some typical hotels but it can defiantly please you when you start walking around. Perfect fr those visiting CBS studios as it is right across the street.

Was looking for a not too expensive hotel in a central area and the Roadway Inn was perfect. It's clean, the staff is nice and welcoming, breakfast is included and very good for the price. Parking on the back is very convenient too. Would stay again.

If you're looking for a hotel room that is centrally located, this is perfect! We were able to check in at 1pm and leave our cars in the garage while we went off and enjoyed LA. Check-in Staff didn't seem all that interested in assisting guests. Hotel is a bit outdated with expired elevator inspections posted, and a previous hotel name listed on signage posted in the room. A very bad experience overall. We checked in late with a very surly clerk only to find that instead of the queen size bed we had reserved, we were in a tiny room with a full size bed. The room was so small there was only room for the bed and one nightstand; a second nightstand would have meant the door would not open. We were tired and decided to make […] do for one night, and change rooms the next day. I went down the next morning and the clerk agreed right away that the room we had included a full size bed, but said "we call those queen size for bookings". After much discussion, she said she could give us a room with two beds, but it would cost half again as much as what I had paid. If what she said is true, this is just deceptive. If they just ran out of queen size beds, they should have admitted it, apologized, and moved us at no extra charge. Other problems -- the advertised wireless internet didn't reach to our room (and apparently not to other rooms at the rear of the motel, based on conversations with other guests). There is parking in a tiny garage (as others have noted), but there are not enough spots for all the rooms; we had to park on the street twice (and luckily it was early and late on a sunday, so the meters were not in effect). I will say the room was clean; at least housekeeping does a good job. Be careful about booking here. Read more

I just returned from spending three nights in this hotel and found that the location is excellent and that the rooms were very small, spartan, but very clean. If you liked your college dorm room you will like this room. Good value for the $ and location. Recommendations to hotel: replace carpet when needed, the patch was uber-tacky and re-upholster […] chair when needed, gives off a creepy vibe when there is a hole in upholstery the size of a dime, and please DO NOT allow smoking in your lovely little courtyard. Being a non-smoker, I had to leave a very relaxing time out there twice when the smoker/s moved in. The area is not big enough and too enclosed for the smoke to clear. The rooms are small but there is a delightful courtyard where you can sit at a table and enjoy breakfast. There is a balcony on each floor to be used by guests to sit to relax. We needed a place to stay close to our daughter in West Hollywood. This was ideal. It will probably be our 'home in the La area' when we come to visit.

Our room was so small that my husband and I literally had to turn sideways to pass each other, and we could not both be in the bathroom at the same time! And we are NOT large people (I wear a size 4 dress)! The pillow was lumpy, and the bed shook like an earthquake every time we moved. This motel is just a room. The rooms are very small, just a bed, tv, bathroom and storage for your clothes. The location is nice and convenient, near the farmer's market. The main problem is not the room, it is the lack of parking. They have 10 stalls in the bottom for compact cars only, and maybe 6-8 stalls up top for the larger vehicles. I checked […] in early at 7pm and got a stall but lost it when I went out to dinner. This was a friday night and you have to park at a meter and feed it or move your car by 8am the next morning. (the meters run 7 days a week). Saturday night it is not as bad as on Sunday morning the meters don't start till 11am. In the future I would only stay here if I couldn't get into another place, as the location is good but the lack of parking is a big problem, because I like to sleep in when I'm out. Read more

This motel was in a great location especially for the price. The only problem I had was the room was so tiny. I needed a roll away for our five year old and it would not fit in the room. Luckily the manager was very nice and switched me into a little bit larger (not much) room so we could have the roll away. Oh and the parking garage is also itty bitty […] as it is underneath the tiny hotel I think there were only 10 spots and you really do need to have a small car to get down there because the turn is very sharp. You've got to keep in mind that this is a motel, not some nice luxury hotel. If you're looking for the relaxing comforts of a hotel - this is not it. But if you need something convenient, decent, just a bed and a place to get ready - then this is a great option. For our needs - it was well worth the price. It's right across the street from the CBS Studios […] so we could be close for our taping of The Price is Right. Breakfast is nothing to rag about, but at least it's "free" and out there in W Hollywood - it's hard to get anything for "free". Parking was included as well, which was also convenient. But be warned - it's a very small lot, a tight squeeze/turn. If you've got a compact car - you can make it. Anything else, and you might find yourself needing a guide to get in and out. They were super nice about letting us leave our rental in the lot while we were at our Price is Right taping. It's the cheapest option in the area - so you get what you pay for. Read more
