The new interior design is aimed to irritate. Fantastic view of the river, but the blinds and sheer curtains blocked it and couldn't be opened more than 1/2 way. Seems like all the good hotels are designing rooms that cover up their views with so may curtains and sharp edged knobs that hurt wet hands. They were undergoing some renovations while I was there, so some of the areas around the lobby were a little difficult to navigate. The room I had was pretty small, but it was what I booked, a room with one double sized bed. Much of the hotel under construction and very noisy. Hallways very cold. Hammering started at 7am-every day. When I showed up at the hotel, the parking garage was under construction and closed. I was told that it was only going to be $34 for parking for my entire stay. Visited Boston with my 11 year old during February break along with my sister and her 3 children - ages 3,5&9. Hotel accommodated us with side by side rooms, helped us bring our bags up and was helpful in calling us taxis when needed. Rooms were clean but no refrigerator - only a wine cooler. Older kids enjoyed the pool after a day of sightseeing - […] I found it too cold but they did not seem to mind. Convenient location; we walked to the science museum upon arrival and had dinner across the street.
