Everything would have been rated higher if they had been able to fulfill us with a non-smoking room rather than smoking. Even with the "spray", it does not address the smokiness that resided on all our clothes during the stay. View was great overlooking Freemont Street and the mountains. I have stayed at the Plaza on previous trips as it was convenient and very reasonable. This time I was pleasantly surprised as the rooms had been renovated and they were very nice and for once I had a view (overlooking the pool) rather than the parking lot. Great location if you just want to hang around downtown.

Nice accommodations, friendly and efficient staff convenient to downtown. Only real negative was that, in addition to the resort fee, was nailed nearly $100 for twice using a wheelchair after an ankle injury.

Good for what we needed it for because it was cheap for one night, but you pay for what you get. Would not stay there again, even if it is cheaper. We had a little time to walk around the historical district. It seems the city is trying to up grade the area, but not a great neighborhood.

When I made the reservation I was told about the resort fee. Was not told about the room deposit. Requested a fridge for room,didn't get m when I brought this up with management was told it would cost me $20 a day. Overall was happy with room. Maids ignored the makeup room sign.

The room was very nice. The only thing I wished for was a safety bar in the shower in the tiny bathroom. We also had very noisy neighbors for a couple of nights. The location is great for being in downtown at the Fremont St experience but the room was right next to the elevator and it was extremely loud moving all night! It kept us up most of the night. A different room probably would have made a huge difference.

South Tower rooms were decent. Location to the front desk was a bit far, but very close to parking garage. I love the fact you got rid of comforters! They are nasty. However, I had to request a blanket for both of the stays at your hotel due to the lightweight of the bedding. My suggestion would be 2 blankets per bed. The North Tower's bathrooms did not have fans in the shower... fans are great!

The hotel itself was nice. The casino however REAKED of some type of chemical smell or cigarette cover up or something. It was absolutely the worst smelling casino I have ever been in, to the point it was all we could do to walk thru it to get to our room. We spend absolutely no time in the casino due to the smell. The hotel is old , the bathrooms are way small and noplace to set luggage. Our door did not close properly and after 2nd day my key card would not work. Other than that it was ok , nothing spetacular.

I'm loyal to the Plaza after staying there several times over the past few months. The rooms have all been modernized and they're very spacious. My hotel rooms have always been clean and even got clean sheets and towels for a two night stay, which is unusual these days. The front desk clerks have always been extremely accommodating. I typically play […] the slots and receive prompt service. They have a subway and a McDonald's, but I recommend Hash House a go go. Huge portions of comfort food and it was featured on Man vs. Food. I happen to think its the classiest hotel I've stayed at on Fremont street. I don't want to be up until 2am when everything shuts down, so I get a back room in the Plaza and I've never had a problem with drunk guests or noise. Like I side, I'm loyal. I know that it doesn't say five stars, but for the price, you definitely get value. It's located right at the end of the Fremont Experience or the beginning depending on how you look at it. Just a straight shot. Also, I use the valet parking and find it to be way more efficient than self parking. Tip the guys a few bucks and you receive your car promptly with no hassle. This is a great place...and the resort fee is only 10 bucks, so it won't kill you like most of the other hotels in Vegas.

Room was very large and very nice, but the bathroom was small. Nice electronic safe in the room. Cons were the additional $10 "resort fee" (room was still extremely reasonable, but why?) and the $50 security deposit, which was a complete surprise.

The renovation to the casino and Restaurant's is a huge improvement! The magic show was great and everyone we went with enjoyed it! The comedian was the hit of the show!
