This was our second year staying at the Holiday Inn on the night before Thanksgiving. The rooms appeared to be very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the convenience to our relatives' home was perfect. This year, they offered a continental breakfast for a small additional fee and that was convenient, but meager (bagels, muffins, and juice). We […] will stay here again next year... just wish the beds were a little softer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

1-night stay for Thanksgiving and had a lovely experience. Priced well and wonderful roomGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place to stay"
This is an older property that has been well maintained and updated. It is in a quiet neighborhood and also provides easy access to restaurants and shopping. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will stay at this hotel anytime I visit Falmouth in the future.Genuine Expedia guest review

"clean, comfortable hotel"
hotel was clean, early check in requested, room was ready when we arrived! Staff was friendly and check out was a breeze.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Functional, but not great"
One person working the desk on check-in, trying to juggle 2-3 phone calls of people asking directions and asking about hotel amenities, etc., so check in was slow. The attendant was friendly and professional, so the service was good, just very slow. Room was clean. Refrigerator didn't come on for 60 minutes after I plugged it in, and the temp control […] knob was broken. Bed felt like the springs were worn out - it was unevenly firm, not terribly comfortable. "Pleased with one night stay"
Front desk girl was excellent, friendly and helpful. Hotel was perfect for what we were doing (wedding nearby); close to town and harbor. Hallway had a stale beer scent, but over all else was good. Room was clean (one chair had a broken leg, but no big deal) bed was very comfortable; shower was great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Stay in Basement w/o elevator"
Only room available to me was in the basement not accesable by elevator. Had to carry luggage down and up flight of stairs. Asked for room change and told only basement available for third party booking. Other rooms were available as hotel was not very busy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very good and confortable hotel. Staff was very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was comfortable, clean and staff is friendly. The breakfast at the hotel was also great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel to stay, room clean, the only down side was breakfast, took us everyday one hour to have it. Each time took half an hour between odering it and getting it. Otherwise good service, staff was nice and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room wasn't as expected , one of the kids had to sleep on the flour the first night.the hotel wasn't clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel okay, not great breakfast service"
Breakfast was supposed to be included but voucher was limited to $20 for two people! And it looked like the waiter / waitress was also the cook, so quite a slow service. The gym equipment was quite limited, luckily the hotel was deserted for most of our stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Clean, room was nice, pool wasn't busy and was clean, the whole place smelled fresh, (not like mold like someone else had written) and was well worth the money. Front desk help was awesome and assisted with anything they could.
"Stay Away Hockey Tournament Guests"
02/23/15 rememberhappy Providence, Rhode Island
This hotel failed miserably again to host hockey tournament guests this past weekend (Feb 20-22) as it has in the past. You cannot wrap around your rigid typical hotel rules to dozens of 8-10 year olds and their parents. The management needs to innovate not reprimand. Clearly, this hotel management does not make informed decisions. While the hotel called out a numerous list of violations, other Cape hotels such as the Falmouth Inn and the Cape Codder understand and work with hockey tournament guests to make the experience enjoyable. They could not even put the hockey groups all together in a block of rooms. They do not inform non-hockey tournament guests that hockey tournament guests have booked on the same night(s). This hotel doesn't deserve the revenue boost in the dead of winter on the Cape. You can threaten arrests for talking in the hallways or you could implement ways of catering to your unique guests. The latter was not considered again just as it was not previous times. Hockey Tournament guests deserve better and you can guarantee by the simple act of word of mouth that all of your previous and future hockey tournament guests will not be booking this hotel again and your hotel will remain mostly empty during the winter months.
"Not hockey-tournament friendly"

We recently stayed here on Friday and Saturday night for a weekend hockey tournament. There were six teams in the hotel and because rooms were given out before their 3pm check-in, teams were not put fully together in the hotel. Next, there were some issues with rooms including, lack of hot water, heaters pulling away from the wall blowing cold air, WIFI system that goes down, and pool parties scheduled when the hotel is full of kids already. We dealt with those issues, but then management decided that parents/kids could not hang out together anywhere in the hotel. We were told that no food or drink is allowed in any of the conference rooms or pool area. We attempted to congregate in the hallways outside our rooms as is the norm for hockey weekends. Kids playing knee hockey and parents having a few drinks with their doors open and keeping eye on the kids is apparently reason to call the police. The only bright spot was the hotel restaurant which was reasonable, the dinner was decent and the breakfast buffet was good.
"Great Service, wonderful stay"

The front desk has a lovely group of women that were willing to make my stay perfect. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water, which is absolutely wonderful! I would stay again and again!
"Had a positive experience"

Could not get home from work on Wed. night of the blizzard because my street hadn't been plowed. Needed to be in work on Thursday morning. Drove to the Holiday Inn and was fortunate to get a room. The room was very clean, well stocked with towels, had plenty of hot water and room temperature was perfect. Ate in their restaurant. Food was good and service was great. The woman who waited on me (and everyone else in the restaurant that night) was very friendly and upbeat. The woman at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful. Upon returning home I thought I had left something in the room and called Friday morning. Spoke with the head of housekeeping. She took a description and my phone number and assured me that she'd look into it and call me back. As it was, I ended up finding what I was looking for and I called her back. She was very appreciative that I had called back. Every one of the staff I interacted with during my stay was very friendly and helpful. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Falmouth area.

Great location, close to the main strip for shopping, restaurants. We got the jacuzzi suite and we not disappointed. Very nice room, spacious, clean and the tub was fabulous. Great staff, helpful and friendly. We got the breakfast included with our stay and it was very good. Great little bar/restaurant for a quiet drink or the game.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time I was greeted as an IHG rewards member and upgraded to a quiet king-sized room on a top floor. Although it was odd that there was a bag of dirty laundry left in the closet, there were no other issues with my stay and I looked forward to staying again. My second and recent experience could not have been more disappointingly different. I was not acknowledged as a rewards member, and I was not offered any type of special amenity or service or upgrade. My room was dated, and the hallways were noisy. The shower in my room was broken, which was Ok only because I was going to drive home the next morning. It was late and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of having to re-pack and relocate to a different room so I stayed where I was. The sink faucet wasn't much better and came out as a low-pressure lukewarm sprinkle. It was about 15 degrees outside so imagine my displeasure at washing my face with tepid water. Hotel hallways seemed dirty with weird stains on the walls, and the "secure" entry to my building was by a door that didn't close on its own. I won't be coming back.
"Great for Wedding Guests"

Nice and Clean. Has a lounge and good food. Has a great buffet breakfast. Has an indoor pool, but didn't use. No time. We did have some toilet issues, but the staff took care of it. Even left us a plunger, just in case we needed it again. Had a 2 night minimum during the summer. Not too far for a nice walk to the Lovely Town of Falmouth.
"Don't waste your money!"

We stayed for a hockey tournament and the food and the accommodations were horrible. The place is in need of a make over. We had a pasta/pizza dinner for the team and it was over priced and the food quality was poor. The pasta tasted like mush and the pizza was microwaved....The room accommodations were tired! The carpet smelled like mold....It was awful
"you won't believe Holiday Inn can feel like that"
12/26/14 ann o New York City, New York
we stay at this hotel at least once a year for synchro ice skating competitions and my review is long overdue. the only reason we first stayed here was because my kids' team decided to stay here and we had to be with them. the team stays in other holiday inn hotels on the east cost and i wouldn't stay at those otherwise. this one is very different. it does feel unique. truly friendly. simple and clean. good food. NO MOLD, unlike in many, many other hotels in the area. these people want you to be comfortable and they go out of their ways to make you want to stay with them again. thank you, guys. you do make a difference.
