"Excellent place to stay"
We loved the 2 bedroom suite. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great. The breakfast was good and had a lot of healthy choices. The family enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and fitness room as well. We loved it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Value and Location"
The hotel ended up being a great place to stay for the event that I was in town for. I was conveniently located off the highway and there were many places to eat nearby. The hotel staff was very personable and friendly and I enjoyed my time at the hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious for my visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Baldwin Wallace"
Good price for decent room. It was very close to Baldwin Wallace and had restaurants close by. Easy in and out.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel but not so friendly staff"
Clean hotel, will definitely stay again. Staff was a little on the unhelpful side.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room seemed to be in good shape and clean, the only problem was that after flushing the toilet it would run for a long time and was loud. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nice to have. I would stay again if I was in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A place to rest and recharge your battery."
It may be off the beaten path, but it's a fine place to recharge your battery. Parking is a bit lacking & continental breakfast isn't more than a vending machine muffin & a cup of coffee that must be enjoyed while standing in the cramped lobby. For more frills you may want to stay next door at the Marriott.Genuine Expedia guest review
The front desk person couldn't find our reservation. After giving him the reservation number it still took him a few minutes to find it. The room was advertised as a suite, it had a queen bed, sleeper sofa, tiny but complete kitchen & bathroom. That's not a suite to me. The room looked clean on first glance, but we kept finding dirty areas. For example, […] there was dried splatter on the inside of one of the lampshades, there were dirty areas on the shower curtain. Room did have a full ironing board, iron, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap & body wash. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Townplace Suites is not the flagship of the Marriott hotel range but for the price it was a good value. Overall, we enjoyed our brief stay. The one big negative was their not having a functioning wireless network. They offered a DSL connection but at the time of our stay, that was not functioning and they didn't seem to be able to get anyone to fix […] it. Pretty disappointing in the 21st century. "Great for business or pleasure"
Great place, nice room with living room seating, great desk space for working and hard wired internet connection at no additional charge.Genuine Expedia guest review
The overall space was smaller than expected and poorly kept--not what we expected for a Marriott or for the price. The heater covers were falling off, the bathrobe hook in the bath/shower area was torn off the wall and missing from the door, there was no maid service, there weren't enough towels for all registered guests in our party, and the heating […] system left a lot to be desired. "Good proximity to SW General Medical Center"
We had to make a last minute trip to the area and re-book our reservation at the last second en route. The accomodations were a great value, and the counter staff and "grab and go" breakfast were great. I would definitely stay again and recommend others do the same. Proximity to the interstate and RR crossing not a problem during stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel in Middleburg heights, Oh"
Great hotel. Would recommend it very highly!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I didn't think the hotel was at par with Mariott properties. The first room assigned had a strange odor to it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I was in Cleveland for almost a month for work and stayed at the Towneplace Suites-Cleveland Airport. My room was to the normal Marriott standard (clean with all the amenities I expected). On the first day of my stay, my microwave broke, and by the time I got in from work, they had a new one installed in my room. In regards to the breakfast, it is the standard Towneplace fare, with hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, an assortment of fruits, and cold cereals. The staff was courteous and met my every need. Overall, it was a great stay.

We stayed for almost two months due to medical reasons which was very stressful but management made it much easier by being very helpful and accommodating! Always had smiles on their faces and never made you feel like you were bothering them. Maid service was excellent and maintenance personnel was very helpful! It was also quiet at night which was a huge plus :)

This was a very stressful trip for my husband and I, but no part of our stay here was part of the stress. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating and helpful especially since I had to keep extending our stay. I had to contact the manager on multiple occasions and at no time did they make me feel like I was a bother to them. I know that we will need to make many trips up to Cleveland and this is definitely where we will be staying.

I stayed here last summer for 6 months and had no problems. This time I am iin opposite building and someone is definitely smoking in their rooms and management refuses to send someone up to check. They told corporate that they have sent multiple people to check and this is not true. This person is smoking overnight and I told corporate and property management. Nothing is done about it. It started friday night/ sat morning after i checked in. I woke up with my room reeking of cigarette smoke. The entire hallway was filled. I told scott at the desk at 7 am and no one came- I waited outside as I could not even go inside the bldg until housekeeping came at 11 am- I told the supervisir-= She did not check until 1 pm a full 6 hours after I made my initial complaint- and then only checked one room and left- since then every morning my room reeks of cigarette smoke- It is not hard to figure out who it is- i even told management who i thought it was- In a situation like this they need to go room to room and check every room until the source is found- they refuse- instead as a cardiac patient I am forced to stay here until the 28 as I dont have enough money to move and other marriots take 20000 points per night- I am staying here with my points please if you want a smoke free hotel do not move here- I am very disappointed- there were also rooms yesterday in the other building and they refuse to move me- I will stay the rest of my time but I will not be back again- there are other hotels who deserve my money more as I am looking to stay for 6 more months at a hotel until i can get a mortgage but this one is out of the picture for me and it was my first choice until now
"Frustrating experience. Will not stay here again."

Upon arrival I was informed my room was in bldg B 2nd floor. The only elevator caused me to have to drag my luggage from one end of the building to the other and then back down the hall to the opposite end again once I was on the 2nd floor. I immediately requested a room switch or even swapping to the courtyard Marriott in front of this place and was told both hotels were completely booked full. I decided before dragging my luggage all that way for one night I'd check out the room first. The room was nnothing of what I would expect from a Marriott property. I called the front desk from my room and again asked for another room closer or on the other property. Was called back 5-10 mins later and told no rooms at courtyard but now they could move me to bldg A next to the elevator so I didn't have to drag all my stuff around. Great! I moved rooms and the room was again not what I'd expect. Looks older, used, stained carpets, and nasty mattresses in both bedrooms. I'd have preferred a studio or one bedroom but was given 2 due to over booking so the front desk explained. Not a pleasant experience at all.

I am currently at the hotel, I am here for five weeks. The rooms are wonderful, I have a studio and I feel like I have a home for my stay in Cleveland. The staff is some of the best representatives of a company I have ever seen. I have stayed in all 50 states at one time or another and never experienced this type of friendliness, I felt welcome the minute I checked in. If you are in the Cleveland area I highly recommend this hotel. Supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations real close to the hotel with quick access to the highway. Wonderful stay!!!

I stayed here due to a canceled flight and was pleasantly surprised at how brand new everything was. It was gorgeous- from the updated kitchen to the cute bathroom to the comfortable bed..I would definitely recommend this place. I only needed to stay one night, but this would be perfect for someone needing a long term stay.
"Great place if you need two bedrooms"
11/09/13 Debbie K Adrian, Michigan
This is a great hotel if you need a place with more than one bedroom at a reasonable price. We had a party of four for which we needed two bedrooms as well as a pullout sofa. Although TownePlace is designed more for long terms stays, the arrangement they offered was also very suitable for an overnight stay for us based on our needs. The location of this place was quite convenient as it could be seen from the I-71 and was easy to find coming off the Bagley Rd. exit. The property was located in the same parking complex with a Courtyard (another Marriott brand). The exterior looked a bit like a small set of apartments as there was more than one building in the facility. The reception area was no-frills by design but there was a small area with a selection of snacks and drinks, which was handy for us as it turned out. The person checking us in was friendly and helpful. We had a second-floor room with two bedrooms, a living room and a small kitchen area. This provided over 700 square feet of living space and this worked well for us. My only complaint about this hotel was that the breakfast, though complimentary, was a little paltry. There were no hot foods (unless you count toast or instant oatmeal fixed with hot water). There were basic cereal offerings with breads, a couple of fruit choices, etc. Of course, with the kitchen facilities available, one could fix their own breakfast if this was not suitable or another alternative would be the nearby restaurants. In all, this is a very good and quite affordable option if you need a larger space.
"Not smoke free"
10/02/13 mark w Detroit, Michigan
We stayed at the Town Place Suites last month. We were looking for a smoke free hotel. Staff and guests both smoke right outside of all the doors. They are even allowed to smoke in the pool and bbq areas. To be truly smoke free and enjoyable for all guets, Town Place Suites should designate a smoking area that is at least 20 feet from all public entrances so other guests are not exposed to this. For this reason only, I cannot recommend your hotel.

My wife and I have stayed twice at this TPS. It is a a bargain for price and membership points, as are most TPS. This one has been renovated (not sure if that applies to all rooms, but it did to the two we stayed in). It's a bit of a schlep into the city, but the price makes it attractive, along with the full kitchen (we go a little crazy at the West End market whenever we are in Cleveland, and the kitchen lets us bring some goodies back to cook and eat, rather than waiting til we get home). There was a party going on and we didn't hear it, so the sound proofing is pretty good. There is a bit of highway noise, barely noticeable to us. The staff were friendly and helpful. They are not nearly as formal as staff at a full Marriott, Renaissance, etc. or even a Courtyard, but that is part of the vibe, and they are just as helpful. I recommend it.
