A tad outdated, but they are trying and that says a lot. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Very adequate for an overnight stay. Comfortable room and nice variety at breakfast. Highly recommend they make a couple of porta cribs available for those traveling with little ones.

Our stay was absolutely terrible!!! Very dirty from burns in the bedspread to bloodstains on the sheets. Power strip to the fridge and coffee pot did not work so I moved the coffee pot to the night stand. Received a call claiming to be from the front desk . Said there computers went down and they needed me to give them the information over the phone […] which I refused to do. I went to the front desk and of course they didn't know what was going on. The stay was fine, but upon checking in we discovered that there was a pet charge which wasn't noted in the information on your site, but was listed on their own site when I checked it later. Not a problem, but shows the need to keep after the businesses on your listing to keep their information current.

Breakfast was very good. The room has a vanity in need of repair and walls around the doorknobs needed cleaning. There were also holes in the dresser top where the TV was located. The staff was professional but the room condition needs work.

I struggled with this hotel. I expected much better. The room was atrocious ! The beds were not made to expectation. The bed skirts were not straight and the beds not made uniformly. There was hair, looked like animal hair on the sheets under the pillows on each bed. Hair on the phone and desk area. We needed a place you stay for just one night. I located the Quality Inn online and the reviews were very good with the exception of two. We were very pleased with our room. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spacious. We were very close to Bob Evans. The breakfast included hot items. I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel staff was friendly. Nice hot breakfast. Room and bath were clean and it was very reasonablly priced. The only thing was that while there were lots of fast-food places, there was only one sit-down restaurant that we noticed-- a local Mexican place. No chain restaurants.

I was assigned a room that still had renovation work going on in it and was told I could not be moved if I wanted to stay at the hotel. The floor tile in the bathroom was being replaced and the room was full of dust and construction debris all over the carpet along with spackling not cleaned up off the new tile floor. An average hotel. I can't say anything bad about it. Large bathroom area in our King Bed room. Served 'hot' continental breakfast with biscuits, eggs, sausage gravy, etc. Good place to sleep, charge the cell phone and hit the road again.

Fine for a quick overnight on a road trip. Biggest plus: The hotel was booked solid, and near the highway yet it was quiet. Close to many restaurants. Service, etc. may have usually been better, but this was right after a huge storm hit WV and the staff members were obviously working under less than perfect conditions.

When I walked up to my room for the first time, the door was not pulled shut tightly. I thought this was a bit strage but proceeded to enter the room. Upon entering, there was nothing alarming about the room. It seemed fairly clean and tidy. However, when I decided to use the restroom, I noticed the door was pulled shut tight which didn't seem normal. […] When I opened the door, a terrible smell hit me. ... this will do fine for you. We stayed there two weekends in a row, on our way through North Carolina and points north. The hotel has seen better days. The bathrooms could use major overhauls, they need a pool, and a computer system that works. But it serves our purpose just fine, and we will probably stay there again.

This hotel was very clean. Upon walking into the hall, you could smell the scent of cleaning supplies- a good scent. I did stay in a non-smoking area and there was no lingering smoke smell. The room was clean and had plenty of towels and washcloths. The king size bed was very comfortable and had lots of pillows. The hotel is an older one that has some nicks and dents but was clean and orderly. The "fitness" room contained a stationary bike and I think a treadmill, small but adequate. Breakfast was advertised on the website as "continental" but they had eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, and pancakes in addition to cereal and the regular carb fare that is served (waffle […] maker too). You wouldn't need to walk over to the Shoney's that is a stone's throw away. There is also a Bob Evans right up the road for lunch or dinner and a gas station on the corner. And if you needed a hospital...there's one right across the street. It was a good stopping point with all the basics that you might need. Read more

Found it easily just off the freeway. Asst. Manager was very helpful with advice about restaurants, services, etc. Very clean room that smelled clean. Tiny efficient bathroom. Would recommend it to others breaking their journey. Ripley itself is small and offers only fast food, however the people we met were kind and welcoming.
