I was very happy. EVERYONE was super nice. You know how sometimes people just get to busy to care about you?? Well, you guys were way way nice and I mean everyone. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have an elevator. Traveling with young children and having to carry everything up the stairs with them was a bit of a pain. Overall the hotel was fine and the staff were friendly. Caulking in tub area is due to be replaced.

Booked with certain expectations; disappointed with conditions. Lobby was nice, hot tub looked like it's been drained and being repaired for a long time. Room didn't have that freshly prepared feeling that we expected. "Desk" was a table and uncomfortable chair. Breakfast was just OK, had to get our own ice for warm juice, and for self service I was surprised to see a very prominent tip jar on display.

No hassles at all - they had our reservation correct, acknowledged that the charges had been pre-paid on Expedia, and the front desk clerk was very courteous. We had requested a crib for one of our two rooms, and it was already in the room, waiting for us. An early morning walk in the neighborhood revealed that it's a beautiful location. Kanab is under-rated as a gateway to multiple great destinations. The staff at breakfast were super helpful - bringing out a high chair for our infant and cleaning empty tables promptly for the next guests. The content of the breakfast was...well, basic - but nevertheless good. I would stay here again.

This motel is located at the end of town but has a nice view and is a bit removed from traffic. Rooms and service were very good, and a complimentary breakfast was offered. I had trouble with the WiFi in the evening; in each of many attempts, I lost the connection about 10 seconds after it was established, and the staff was unable to rectify this problem. The next morning, however, the WiFi worked fine.

Good: Breakfast, cooling. Not good: sloppy maintenance (broken bathroom door, really bad patching of walls and even of the bathtub), intermittent Internet, no elevator, air conditioner fan speed selection broken (stuck on low). Seemed like an older chain property that was recast as a Comfort Inn with little upgrading or repair.

Room had multiple issues. The entry door would only close if slammed. It would not latch if you let it swing close on its own. The bathroom door did not close. Missing latch plate. The door had no way to latch shut. The back entrance was not locked after hours. It had a card reader outside but the door was left unlocked all night.

The staff was very friendly. Clean room. The registration area was nice and comfortable. Beautiful outside surroundings. Nice to know there was a laundry area. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to use it. It was nice to have breakfast there, however, there was no fresh fruit available. I would recommend staying there.

I use hotels.com many times a month as does my entire sales team. We seldom get a bum steer. however the Comfort Inn in Kanab is the worst hotels I've stayed in, over the past 4 years. The room was very dirty and worn out. The bedding looked unchanged or very poorly laundered. WiFi didn't work well, very slow and intermittent. Their breakfast was inedible, the eggs were swimming in powdered egg juice. The staff was moody and had thick accents, the location is at the edge of town and you have to back track to get back on the freeway. This hotel showed up at the top of the websites list for Kanab. After investigating several other hotels in town it should have been at the bottom many others at much better for less cost. I recommend NOT STAYING at the Comfort Inn in Kanab.

There isn't much in Kanab, and this hotel was one of the best that we looked at before booking. For the most part, the hotel room was suitable for our purposes, a quick overnight stay. The room was clean, suitably furnished, and had really comfortable pillows. But the one big draw back was the lack of an elevator. Our room was on the third floor. While there was a ramp from the outside to the second floor, we still had to climb the stairs to the third, which was not an enjoyable experience after a stiff four hour drive. So if you book a room here, make sure it's on the first or second floor, unless you really want a work out.

we got the room in lower level, the front desk person said it's very quiet! As soon as we laid down a car parked right in front of our window and play music and people were talking. That was not good! We could also hear people dragging their luggage down the stairs.

We chose this hotel in part because it allows pets and we were traveling with our dog. This was a basic room in a basic hotel chain property. Front desk service during check-in and out was very friendly and helpful but housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Our toilet was not scrubbed during our stay - and it needed it. Would have done it myself if they'd left a brush - icky. We didn't use the in-room coffee maker the first morning, but we did use it the second and the coffee was not replaced so we were unable to make a pot on the third morning. Breakfast was better than most, with some options for non-grain eaters.

Kanab, UT, has few hotel choices. This was our second choice, and we thought we'd give it a try, as we had little choice in the matter. The desk staff were friendly and polite. The room was OK, fairly clean, and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner and heating unit, however, made an explosive noise about once an hour, which made it hard to stay asleep or get back to sleep. The room doors do not close quietly, so anytime any of the neighbors went in or out of their rooms, it sounded like people slamming doors, and the walls between rooms are pretty thin, so noise was an issue. We also had an issue with the folks next door going in and out and slamming their doors, and since it was 11 PM while this was going on, I finally had to go out and have some words with them to get the door slamming to stop. The hotel does not have an elevator, which can be an issue if you are not on the main floor.

No hot water, complained to desk, she Said she would turn it on. Waited five min, still no hot water, complained to desk, she said wait longer. It was 1130 pm! After pressing she said she would reset the system. Asked her if this happens a lot, and she said "yeah, when we have a full house". Waited another 10 min, and finally got hot water.

The location of the hotel was good & easy to find even though the GPS has the location off by 10 miles. The clerk said all GPS units overshoot the location by that much. He explained why but don't recall the details. Despite paying for the hotel a month earlier through Hotels.com, I was alerted to a charge for the 2 nights I stayed there. I notified the front desk & they argued that the charge was legit. I then phoned Hotels.com, who in turn contacted the hotel. The front desk then called me a minute later & admitted their mistake. I'm sure it was just an honest error but it should have been resolved without having to get Hotels.com involved in it IMO. Very good breakfast!

My family had a very pleasant stay here. We were looking for a place that was convenient to Zion, Bryce and, eventually, the N. Rim of the Grand Canyon. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was good and the breakfast was better than we expected. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Zion/Bryce area!

I have stayed at this hotel in the past, when it was under other management. It was nicer then, so this stay was a disappointment. There is no elevator, so guests must carry their luggage up and down stairs.
