The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, however, we did have to ask for clean sheets (there were some concernable stains on the ones on the bed) and continue to ask for more towels because we were only given a couple at a time.

I had to go to Knoxville for an interview. Being unfamiliar with the area, the hotel was very hard to find. We could see it, but couldn't find how to get to the drive way. She allowed us to get our room key early so we could spend the rest of the day at the foootball game at UT (about 15 min away) Lobby seemed clean. Room was pretty clean.. I chose the Econolodge because of the proximity to the relatives I was visiting for Christmas. The entrance to the motel was a little hard to find, but once found, easy enough to get back to. It looked as if the motel was temporary quarters for construction workers, but on Christmas there was no noise from them to bother us. Whether there would be […] normally, I don't know. The remote control to the TVs in our 2 rooms was not working, suggesting to me that they had been disabled, as the remotes themselves seem to be working and the TVs could be operated manually. The over all stay was alright, but the ladies bathroom in the lobby had blood all over the trash can and the bathroom itself was dirty. The note pad on the desk in the room also seem to have dried blood on it. So for me and my family we will NOT ever stay there again.

Would not stay here again! Great location--horrible rooms. Smelled of smoke and beds were uncomfortable. Hotel receptionist did try to spray some air freshener; however, the smoke coming from some of the "smoking rooms" simply permeated the walls, etc.. I would not recommend to anyone who has allergies of any kind!

I realize this isn't a 4 star hotel, but.. I do expect that the sheets and pillows on the bed don't have a yellowish tinge to them like they've been stained from years of people drooling on them. The sheets also were threadbare in places, making me believe that they were several years old. Also, the cold water faucets in the bathroom and shower never […] got cold, they were warm, like the hot water backfed into the cold pipes somewhere. Makes for a crappy toothbrushing experience. This hotel parking lot was full of trucks from roofing companies, and those guys loved to stay up way late partying outside on the balconies, making noise. Considering the price I paid I feel it was a very good value. The people I interacted with were very helpful and friendly. I was comfortable, the facility and my room were cleaned and have apparently been well maintained, and even tough very close to the interstate the room was quiet. All in all a very good feeling when I departed.
