"Poor hotel"
The door handle to the room was broken so we had to really work to make sure the door closed. No breakfast in the morning, it looked like they put a few items out and when those were gone, that was it even though it was to be served 6a-9a. There wasn't even coffee! "One night"

"Next time we'll try the "Second Best" hotel"
The good news is the actual hotel room was great: water pressure was strong; room was clean & fresh; plenty big for two. The disappointment started when we walked up to the room & saw that the pool was closed. Wish we would have known that ahead of time. We would have picked a different hotel. The complimentary breakfast was okay on Day 1. But Day […] 2 had the SAME FOOD. Not the same KIND of food, but the same exact food. The two donuts that were left after we ate on Day 1 were in the *exact* same spots (each) on the morning of Day 2. Gross! And the yogurt we chose the day before had obviously been eaten, but no new yogurt had taken its place. What a shame! We found a washing machine with no dryer in the breezeway. How were we supposed to do laundry? We called down & asked for a cork screw. The front desk worker said she didn't have one but we could call a neighboring hotel & ask for theirs. We did & they said they would walk it over to the front desk of our hotel. We called our front desk about 20 minutes later & asked about the cork screw. She said she was still looking. Ugh - forget it! We were told when we went down to Covington that the Days Inn was the best hotel in town. In fact, thats what the Covington Days Inn sign says. We've stayed at the Days Inn in other towns and were happy with our experiences. But if this is the best in Covington, I think well take our chances next time and stay at the second best.
