This hotel was pretty standard, but nice. Room was clean, bed comfortable, fridge in room, free wifi. Staff were the best part (very friendly). Our main reason for staying here is its proximity to barefoot landing and less than 2 miles away from Skydive Myrtle Beach. Also great deal! There is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi which we did not use but looked nice and a very small fitness center. There is breakfast (not free), but better options than most continentals.

After traveling throughout the evening the comfort of the bed was such a surprise. I slept great. Also, the accommodations made by hotels.com and the Hotel itself was very appreciated. Travel was last minute and later check out was required and it was granted. Thank you again so very much.

Although the hotel was very nice and clean, the placement of the furniture in the room was terrible. It appeared that furniture was unnecessarily added, which made it difficult to easily maneuver. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

Reasonable price and convenient location. Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming but we did have difficulty getting service at the cafe. No big deal though because there is two restaurants in front of the hotel that you can easily walk to. Next time I catch a show I will definitely stay at this hotel.

The room had a smell of some type of cleaner or air freshner that we did not like, but we were able to open the window for some fresh air. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The front desk attendants were very professional and accommodating. The restaurant/lounge was not what we expected. The lounge/restaurant left a lot to be desired and we were disappointed there wasn't a breakfast buffet. We liked the easy access to Barefoot Landing and would stay here again.

Family situation came up & had to leave a day early. When Hotels.com called to verify that I indeed had checked out (so they could reimburse me for leaving one day early) the hotel told them I had NOT checked out & this was NOT true. I will NEVER stay in another Courtyard by Marriott for this reason. Totally unprofessional.

Came to Myrtle for a quick overnight stay...even though we were not on the beach that was okay. Our stay was very good, quiet and restful....Will certainly look to stay again...

Pool area not as clean as I would like for a public pool, and my room wasn't the cleanest. When you have left over hair from the day before, it makes you question if your bathroom was actually cleaned. Comfortable bed, quite stay and woke up refreshed. Nice stay overall with no loud customers in the height of the season.

Great place to take your teenage grandchildren. We felt safe and secure during our recent stay at the Marriott Barefoot Landing, Myrtle Beach. My granddaughter lost a pair of shoes(value $100.00) and the staff there took the time to help her find them. Now, that is great service to max. Thanks Marriott Barefoot Landing, we will be back. Stay was fine. Hotel breakfast was great. Service was good. Seems to be an older property. Am a non smoker and room smelled of smoke or some other mildly unpleasant scent which hits when you first walk in but subsides a bit afterwards. Having the option to pay for a movie would have been nice as well. Only offered HBO.

The only problem we had was there was a musty smell in the room. Also, the housekeeping staff knocked on the door at 9 am asking If we needed towels or anything - we weren't out of bed yet so we said no - they didn't come to clean the room then.

Wonderful stay! Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tasteful. Front desk staff on day of check out was a deal maker. She was helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate multiple bikers on a rainy day. As a female traveling alone I felt perfectly safe and comfortable throughout the hotel. Our stay was great and the staff was so friendly. the room was wonderful, just what we needed for a getaway. We will dedinitely come back for anohet visit. The only downfall was descriprion said balcony and we only got a window that would barely open. But if that is my inly complaint then i am good. location was great since we wanted to be close to House of Blues without traffic!

The hotel was very nice and clean but it was a little dated and need some new up keep. The room could have used some new paint and carpet was worn out in some areas but all in all the stay was pleasant and the staff were great.

Our room was on the third floor and the room beside us along with the one above us was very loud. The room had an odor to it as if it had been used as a smoking room, but then was turned into a non-smoking room. It was very damp and nothing seemed to dry out even when it was warm outside. The room was kept clean by the staff, but we received a knock on the door of our room by the cleaning crew to see if we were leaving for the day before 9:00 am so it could be cleaned. The pool area and hot tub were not maintained very well either. Breakfast was not included and rates were high for meals if you wanted to eat at the hotel.

Hotel was great. Room was clean all the time. Room service everyday. If you asked for more towels or anything you needed they brought it right away. The beds were made everyday. Free coffee in lobby. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! All the food was hot and made perfectly as if you were at a real breakfast restaurant. Perfect location to shopping plazas, Mall, Outlets, Super Walmart, ect. The pool area and gym are were always clean. Plenty of fun for kids in the pool and business area perfect with tv and coffee.

Our stay at the Courtyard Marriott North Myrtle Beach was great. The hotel is very nice as expected for a Marriott hotel. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The hotel lobby and dining area was beautifully decorated and makes you feel you are at home.

The thing that disgusted me the most was that I found a cockroach in the initial room I was placed in. Although I was moved to another room (which was not very clean, ie. sand on the shelves of the closet and dresser), I had unsettling night of sleep due to wondering if there were cockroaches in the new room. I was also disappointted that there were no mini-refrigerators in the rooms. Over the past year, I have stayed at different hotels in different locations, and most all (even lower-rated places by comparison) have mini-refrigerators. I expected much better for a Marriott property.

The hotel service was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and acted like they were truly glad we chose to stay in their hotel. We were able to use the lounge area for a business meeting and felt very comfortable inviting our client to this hote.
