The lights in the bath room worked when they wanted to. The room smelt like mildew. And the beds were not at all confortable for me and my wife. Will not stay again at that Holiday INN, for the price, this was more comparable to Masters Inn, just twice as much. Quality of service was excellent, just the over all cleanliness of the room and fixtures […] not working, or working when they wanted. OK, staff is very helpful but generally the hotel is dirty. Pool was very lackluster. Breakfast is very unfriendly to healthy food. Dannon Yogurt is the only healthy food, along with the only fruit being bananas., I would not write home to mom about this hotel. The one plus is the location being close to some good restaurants.

The overall stay was nice. Housekeeping ignores the "do not disturb" sign and went in my room anyway. The bathroom could have been better...the toilet was not up to par. There were black spots in the toilet and arm handle of the shower/tub combo which made me disgusted.

The staff was extremely helpful. I liked the room and had the extra advantage of a green wooded area outside my window on the 3rd floor which made my stay feel very relaxing and comfortable. Slept the best that I had in a long stay of hotels, this was probably due to my exhaustion but the bed and sheets sure didn't hinder me sleeping 10+ hours. The room had a very strong musky odor, the air conditioner leaked and wet about a third of the room while we were sleeping. In the morning I found the shower head had been broken and it did not go to the top of the rod. I am 6'3'' and I had to kneel down to shower. BUT,, the breakfast was great. Everything was clean and all the food was very fresh. […] The lady serving was very nice. I really liked the cinnamon rolls. They were a big hit.On our departure we did mention the problems to lady at the front desk said she said she would get a repairman to fix it. I have now learned that you can't always trust a Holiday Inn Express name. Their name now means nothing to me. Your web site was very helpful. I found it to be easy to use for a person that is a computer dummy. I understand you can not possibly know all the hotel's that are not up to standards and maybe I had the worst room in the hotel. The rates you gave me was honored and we had no problems checking in. The lady who checked us in was very helpful. She helped us find a great place to eat, gave us a map to help us find it and even gave us a map to help us find our destination!. Nice building in a nice, if easy to miss location. Sadly, the appearance was just window dressing. I found half a dozen hairs in the shower at check-in as well as visible bathtub scum (with drips of cleanser through it). i WAS A LITTLE PUT OFF BY THE FACT I WAS PLACED IN A ROOM WITH A BROKEN DOOR, LIKE IT HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO. IT WOULDNT HAVE BEEN SUCH A BIG DEAL BUT IT WAS ON THE SECOND FLOOR, AND IM A SINGLE MOM WITH A THREE YEAR OLD, MY HANDS WERE EXTREMELY FULL AND IT WAS MIDNIGHT. I reserved a non-smoking room. Upon my arrival, the clerk told me all he had was a smoking room. He offered me a bottle of a Febreze-type product to spray in there myself. He didn't care. While my husband was downstairs to pick up the spray bottle of Febreze-type product, he waited while an unhappy customer was telling the desk clerk that the room […] he had been given was already occupied and the room was double-booked. The toilet overflowed later. My husband asked for a mop and the clerk at the front desk said she didn't know where one was. She didn't offer any assistance or bother to look for one either. With the exception of the kind lady at the breakfast, the staff didn't seem to care about the needs of the consumer. I will not be using Holiday Inn Express again. I am very disappointed. Read more

When I arrived, I was not given the two bed, nonsmoking room that I had booked on Expedia. The only choices were a king room with a pullout that was nonsmoking OR a two double bed room that was smoking. I had to have 2 beds so I took the smoking room and our pj's smelled like smoke the next day. During the night, around 11:30, about 20 people on our […] floor came in yelling, laughing, and talking loudly for the next two hours. They continually went in and out of each other's rooms, allowing the doors to slam over and over again, reverberating throughout the hall. I called to complain twice and the person at the desk came up and asked them to be quiet. I slept about 3 hours. The next day, I asked to change rooms since the 'loud' group was not leaving and I wanted a nonsmoking room. The kind staff member finally moved us to the totally nonsmoking third floor. We had our two bed nonsmoking room at last but the air conditioner did not work, and the compressor came on and off every couple of minutes making a loud buzzing noise in an attempt to kick on. Also, we were next to a storage room that had some sort of generator (sounded like a farm tractor idling in the room) which kicked on every few hours and ran for about 15 minutes. My bed didn't have a fitted sheet. There was a loud noise coming from the room next to us that we were told was a water pump and would turn off shortly. We had no shampoo or soap in the room.

My family's overnight stay would've been a lot better had we not been placed in a room directly adjacent to the elevator and stairwell. To make matters worse, little league baseball players ran the halls all night and were up at it early the next morning....Where were the parents????? Way too noisy!!!!
