We have stayed here several times because it is very reasonable and close to Bucknell University and Interstate 80. The bed are showing wear and were very, very, uncomfortable. The hotel was fine... but the road to get there was pretty bad. Staff at front desk was fair. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Probably wouldn't choose this location again, although we have had good luck at other Holiday Inn Express' before.

My mother and I had to stay over for a wedding and we found the hotel clean and quiet. We liked our room, the two queen beds, the new bathroom and the breakfast in the morning! Nice place to stay.

and we weren't notified prior to booking. Constructions starts @ 8am according to the notice at the front desk. Beds were very uncomfortable, room smelled very musty and the construction crew hung out outside our window most of the night cooking on their grill. This hotel is going through some renovations but it looked like we were in a room that may have already been renovated. While the room was large and comfortable, the bathroom was tiny and awkward for a couple to use. And the room was very musty/moldy smelling. Hotel was great, friendly staff, large clean room, comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but updated. Hotel was expanding but didnt have any noise issues with construction. Breakfast had a huge selection and decent food for continental style. Would stay here again.

This is a decent hotel for the area. I was surprised to see the hotel was built just a few years ago as it is already showing signs of wear and tear. Our air conditioning barely worked and the room was at times extremely hot. Breakfast bar did not offer many healthy options. The only fruit available was over ripened banana's.

It was a fine hotel. It was close enough to Bucknell University but also far enough to find a last minute room over graduation weekend. The driveway to the hotel and the parking lot were in good condition, but the same cannot be said of the road that leads to it. Wireless was fast and had a strong signal on the first floor.

There aren't much in the way up upscale accommodations in Williamsport, PA and rooms are currently tough to come by due to the oil shale industry. This hotel was exactly what it needed to be. The rooms were modern and clean, the guy at the desk was warm, funny and helpful. We (myself and children) weren't able to use the hot tub in the evening because of the other guests drinking and monopolizing it. The toilets were VERY low and hard for my elderly mother to use. The hotel was in a great location. Within a half hour in all directions there was something to do. Convienent freeway access. I stayed in the king room w/ the whirlpool hottub. Very modern and clean! My only gripe was some of the staff wasn't the friendliest. But it wouldn't deter me from staying there again! Ill be back!

We booked this hotel so that we could attend a football game at Penn State. We didn't realize how far it was (over an hour) but since it was on the way back home to NJ, it worked out fine. Reasonably priced. Place was clean, very well kept. I stayed here for a night with my family. We share a room with 2 queen beds. This room was very comfortable, clean and the shower was excellent. I think this is really all anyone is expecting when they stay at a interstate exit economy hotel. The only dawback was the breakfast. The "breakfast buffet," the eggs and cheese were egg and cheese substitute. […] The sausage was decent and well cooked but the biscuits looked stale and the gravy had an odd color. I would recommend choosing the cinnamon swirl buns only. The staff was nice and personable and answered all our questions. There aren't many dining options so make sure you eat before you get to the hotel if you expect to arrive after 9 pm. The Bonanza Steakhouse nearby closes at that time and the nearest option is an Applebees which is 5 miles away in lewisburg. All around this is a good place to stay if you are heading to a Penn State football game the following morning, which is what we did because it is only an hour and 10 mins outside State College. Although this hotel looks to have been recently updated, it literally took 5 minutes to get hot water. When we flushed the toilet or washed our hands there was a terrible, loud sound in the wall. You could not use the TV remote unless you were sitting up in bed and raising your hand/remote over your head to so that it could "connect" with the sensor […] on the TV. This was our first time here and we were pleased with our room. Only complaint was there were no towels or wash cloths left in the room the second night we were there we had to go ask for some. There could be a grab bar in the shower also, but otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice heated pool and hot tub. We drove to Shade Mountain Winery […] in Middleburg on Saturday which was about a half hour away from the hotel. Nice quiet area and a Bonanza restaurant is right up the street from this hotel. Otherwise it is a quite remote area unless you're there for a specific reason. Will stay agsain next year I am sure! Read more

This hotel is within a 5 minute drive, right up the road from Bucknell on Rt. 15. Everything in the hotel has been newly renovated (except perhaps the mattresses). The beds were only so comfortable, but everything else was great. The breakfast buffet was convenient, offering eggs, sausages, cereal, coffee, fruit, bagels and juice. Parking was also convenient. […] We went for Bucknell Parent's weekend and wish we could have this hotel for graduation, but they are already sold out for 2012. We rented 5 separate rooms. One of the rooms smelled so strongly of smoke that we had to have the room changed. It was a typical HI Express, nothing special but nothing terrible either.

Room was clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had to move from first room because of noise. Second room had a shower curtain that didn't fit right because the rod wasn't secured properly. Overall stay was fine, but not the best Holiday Inn Express experience we've had.

For a budget hotel just off the highway the New Columbia Holiday Inn Express was not bad. Bed was good, room was clean and the free breakfast, unlike many other chains, was not bad. I have stayed their twice while on Business in Lewisburg and plan to stay there again.
