The hotel got the job done. Fancier rooms then I expected and the pool was pleasant. Breakfast was better than most generic hotel continentals. A good nights stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a decent hotel for the area. I was surprised to see the hotel was built just a few years ago as it is already showing signs of wear and tear. Our air conditioning barely worked and the room was at times extremely hot. Breakfast bar did not offer many healthy options. The only fruit available was over ripened banana's.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pleasant Stay in a Pleasant Part of the Country"
It was a fine hotel. It was close enough to Bucknell University but also far enough to find a last minute room over graduation weekend. The driveway to the hotel and the parking lot were in good condition, but the same cannot be said of the road that leads to it. Wireless was fast and had a strong signal on the first floor.Genuine Expedia guest review
A bit pricey for location but the hotel was all I expected. The breakfast room was well kept & stocked with a good variety. The customer service was commendable when I left a prescription there & needed it returned.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed here for our wedding night as a little getaway and enjoyed it very much! We liked the jacuzzi and the staff was very friendly. Also, my husband thought the bed was very comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Traveling for work"
There aren't much in the way up upscale accommodations in Williamsport, PA and rooms are currently tough to come by due to the oil shale industry. This hotel was exactly what it needed to be. The rooms were modern and clean, the guy at the desk was warm, funny and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory but I'd love to see a few healthier options thought […] I'm guessing most folks are happy with the sausage & eggs. My pillows on my bed were terrible - lumpy and one of the beds had sheets with pills - yuck. My room was close to the lobby and it was noisy. Would have preferred this hotel was in Williamsport rather than a 20 minute drive away. As far as I could tell - no bedbugs - and that makes it a winner these days. A good option for the business traveler or weekender. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Holiday Inn Express-New Columbia, PA"
Our stay was nice. We did not get the adjoining rooms we had hoped for because they were all taken. We (myself and children) weren't able to use the hot tub in the evening because of the other guests drinking and monopolizing it. The toilets were VERY low and hard for my elderly mother to use. There was no safety bar or slip protectors in the shower. […] Breakfast was ok. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Holiday Inn Express in Pennsylvania - Very Clean!!"
The hotel was in a great location. Within a half hour in all directions there was something to do. Convienent freeway access. I stayed in the king room w/ the whirlpool hottub. Very modern and clean! My only gripe was some of the staff wasn't the friendliest. But it wouldn't deter me from staying there again! Ill be back!

The Staff were friendly and greeted me everytime they saw me. The rooms were clean, spacious bathrooms. Comfortable Beds. Breakfast and all the other amenities... The prices are a little steep. But overall it's good place to be. Enjoy your stay!!!

We stsyed at this hotel on our way to Virginia. It hada great location off of Rt. 15, and we were very happy with our room. The breakfast was delicious, and included freshly made pancakes, breads, cereals, eggs etc. All in all a great experience.
"Better Than Expected"

We staying here in July 2014 for a kayaking trip for two nights. I choose this hotel because it was 10 minutes away from the put in in watsontown and was pet friendly. The front desk agent, forget his name, was very friendly and gracious to help us with getting driving directions to Knoebel's Amusement Park, which was awesome (go if you are able only 30 minutes away). This hotel is updated. Very clean. Room has beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, clean crisp bedding, great carpeting. The bathroom is very fresh and clean, beautiful contemporary fixtures, nice tub and flooring. Which is the unexpected aspect. For what you get, very reasonable price. When I first booked the room I only booked two queen beds, but upon check in was able to get a suite with private sitting area that has a pull out sofa. Nice size private room. The pull out is very uncomfortable. Had to use the fluffy duvet from one of the beds as extra padding. My sister and her husband used it the first night, they complained of discomfort. My niece, 12 yrs, used it the 2nd night and she said it was okay. So maybe for small children its not to bad. The queen beds were very comfortable and slept like a dream. They have a nice hot breakfast with plenty options. Had biscuits n gravy, my favorite, on the menu. The pool room is very nice, yet small, so if there are a number a people using the pool at once it can be alittle cramped. This is in a queit area near the highway, no noise. Not alot of choices for dining near hotel, need to drive about 10 minutes to lewisburg or watsontown. Overall it is a great hotel and am very blessed to have been able to stay there. Would return.

It looks like a new Holiday Inn Express... very clean and a nice new room layout. It's a little off the beaten path and it's a rough road to get there... but well worth it. The staff was warm, helpful and friendly.

My wife and I have stayed here many times over the past 6 or more years on our way beyond & back. The hotel has been updated, expanded, and renovated several times over our various short stays. It is very attractive & up to date; it has always been just great; super clean and spacious rooms, super bedding, choice of pillow firmness, great bathroom with various amenities. Free internet & wireless. Very acceptable free breakfast: eggs, meats, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, as well as breakfast drinks. Even coffee/tea 24/7.

The hotel was very clean and nice inside. Nice atmosphere. Rooms were clean, no outside noise or cleaning noise could be heard (and our room was right beside housekeeping). The woman who checked us in, Michelle, was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful (and we required her help numerous times). She even signed me up for the rewards program which I was unaware about. The woman in the morning, Renee, was very very rude. I asked about getting some items on the breakfast bar refilled, and she promptly bit my head off (she yelled loud enough that the entire room of breakfast eaters heard), she then yelled at an employee, and told him to tell Mary (the woman who was supposed to keep breakfast stocked) to come refill the breakfast. Breakfast (with the exception of low amount of food when we went down at 8am), was good. The cinnamon rolls, seemed a little stale (I was looking forward to a cinnamon roll, I'm not big on breakfast in general), and I was hoping for some bacon (this was one item I got my head bit off for). They do serve turkey sausage, so why not some turkey bacon as well?! The pool was a bit cold, it could've been a little warmer as it was an indoor pool. Check in and check out went smoothly. I would stay at this hotel again (but would hope to not deal with Renee). The Regional Director of Sales, Ty Gemberling, was very helpful.
"Great for a Quick Night!"

We stopped here on our way to Rochester for Thanksgiving, when the snow just got too heavy. Service was good, as they were able to make us a last-minute reservation and our room was warm and awaiting us upon our arrival. Got there very late at night and so we pretty much just went to sleep, but the room was adequate, the bathroom clean, and the beds comfortable. Slept well and when we were ready to go in the morning, we had a filling breakfast at the included continental breakfast area. Check-in and out were both easy, and we were on our way in no time!
"No hot water"
Upon realizing we had no hot water in our room, I call the front desk. She told me she would check the hot water heater and to try again in 10 minutes. I tried 10 minutes later, still no hot water. Call the front desk and the response was basically, you're the only 1 with his problem, sorry. Well, I need to bathe my children so what can we do? Her solution was to move rooms. With a 5 year old, 3 year old, and two suitcases full of things unpacked, that was out of the question. Could we take a shower in a different room? No. Why not? They would have to clean 2 rooms if they moved us anyway, right? After she called the general manager, she allowed us to shower in a room a floor above. Not accommodating whatsoever, not helpful, not a good experience.
"Here for a wrestling tournament"
07/17/14 Fran C Ridley Park, Pennsylvania
Property is just average. We stayed here 2 nights for a wrestling tournament. I feel as our room was extremely dusty, not dirty just dusty. I noticed that there was dust strings hanging from the curtains, and ceilings also the furniture was very dusty. My 10 year old pointed it out to me right away. There was a white powder like baby powder on the desk chair and the door of the dresser. Before getting settled in I had to take a damp tissue and wipe everything down. Other than that the bathroom was clean and beds where not bad. Pool was nice kids used it 3 x while there and 2 out of the 3x they had no dry towels. I would stay here again but would look into booking somewhere else first. Just a bit dissapointed since I stay at Holiday Inn express before and they seemed much nicer.

Standard Holiday Inn Express. Clean, decently sized rooms with microwave and fridge. Comfortable bed. Standard breakfast. Almost nothing in walking distance, but plenty a short drive away. Close to the highway but I had a room on the back side and wasn't bothered by noise at all.
