I would never return to this hotel because of the Emergency Responder's siren. It went off five times during the night. It sounded like a tornado siren that is used in many parts of the country. In most states you are told to run to the bathroom or to the hallway. We were not told about the possibility that alarms might sound during the night, nor what […] to do when they went off. Also, the hotel did not have a backup generator in case the power went off. Other hotels had backup generators -- but no this one. And the power went off for over 10 hours. The air conditioning took quite a while to cool the room, but it was very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a bad drive to Hershey especially for the reasonable price. Would highly recommend it for those simply looking for a clean place to stay in the area.

During heat wave the room air conditioning began to act up. Front desk had maintenance on it immediately. They actually put in a new unit!! Hotel is extremely clean and comfortable.Fast food and travel services are within walking distance. Close to Penn National racetrack / Hollywood Casino, short drive to Hershey and Gettysburg. We choose this hotel based on price, and good reviews. We (2 adults/2 children) were going to Hershey Park, and thought that most of the hotels in the Hershey area were a pit pricey. It offered assorted juices, coffee/tea, cereal, fruit, muffins, danish, bagels, and make your own waffles. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel was great. The room was clean, the staff was excellent. It was only maybe 20 minutes from Hershey (assuming traffic isn't too bad), and it's probably a LOT cheaper than staying IN Hershey. The only downside is that they don't have a pool.

My husband and I both agree that this is a great hotel for the money. We have stayed in hotels that were double and triple the price and have not been as pleased with the service, amenities or the room.

Whenever I made this reservation, I spoke with a representative who informed me that "Yes. They have a shuttle or would call a taxi." When I arrived at he hotel months later, I was informed that there was not a shuttle and that I would have to call a taxi myself! Over the past few years my husband and I have done some extensive traveling and have stayed at a number of different hotels, ie., Red Roof, Days Inn, Travel Lodge, some B & B's, etc. This was by far the most well maintained, cleanest and friendliest one of all. Even the Trump Taj Mahal in AC should take some lessons from the Staff of this Days Inn. I was in town on a house hunting trip, and I chose this hotel for its proximity to FIG and the price. I got a great deal, and because of past experience with Days Inn, I knew the accomodations would at least meet my expectations. The hotel is minutes from FIG, and is newer. There were also complimentary snacks and a bottle of water in the room in addition to a mini-fridge and microwave. This would be a great place to stay if you're visiting Harrisburg or Hershey. You will have to drive a little more, but the hotel is very reasonably priced for the quality you get and it's right off I-81. The hotel was mostly quiet. Hotel was quiet and off the beaten path - affordable and decent. Very little cell phone reception, if any, but did have free wifi for the smart phone. Recommended a great place to eat. Very friendly staff.

Everything wonderful. Continental breakfast OK but would have liked more fresh fruit (only had apples ). Rooms clean and quiet....would return when in area again. Since we did not know exactly where we would stop on our return trip, we did not have a hotel reservation. We decided to travel back to this same hotel. Again it was late at night and once again we were pleasantly surprised when the same efficient and friendly Desk Clerk remembered us. A nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable.
