I rented 2 rooms for a business trip at this hotel for a total of three days. The first night we were there, a hotel employee called our room at 3am accusing us of slamming doors, and threatened to have us kicked out. The employees staying in the room were sound asleep and told this to the hotel employee. The second night we were there, the same employee […] called my room at 8:30pm and accused me of smoking in the room. I told him we were just watching TV and had been sending everyone outside to smoke as this was a non-smoking hotel. Needless to say he did not believe me because 4 hours later, at 12:30am, he sent a police officer to both our rooms to have us removed for smoking. Again, we were all sound asleep at the time and were not smoking. Other occupants of the hotel may have been smoking but this employee insisted that it was us. The employee in question also yelled at my wife for speaking in the hallway when we returned from dinner. After the police showed up, we have had enough of this harassment and decided to check out of the hotel the next morning, a full day early. As we were gathering our things to leave, we found a cockroach in the air conditioner to further add to the insult. I travel all over the state for business and have never been mistreated like this before. Unless you like being profiled and harassed, I would never stay at this hotel nor will I ever again. Overall the stay was perfect. My only complaint, the Bathroom was ver small, and the price of the room was too high for the area , in my opinion!!!!We've gotten better accomodations at local B & B's for less money, and a far better breakfast!!!!!!

We had problems with the key cards for the rooms, and the TV did not work. As we were only staying overnight, that was no big deal. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. All in all, it was a good experience and we will stay there again.

I couldn't access the Internet from my room without going through the main desk. Somewhat inconvenient. The shower area could use a small table or shelf to hold items. The staff was very helpful when my keys fell into the grate in the parking lot. It is a bit hard to locate the hotel on a dark rainy night.

Our room was clean but smelled of urine. We moved to another room and it was much better but had a faint odor to it. Otherwise the hotel was very nice. The staff was especially friendly. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Though Expedia told me I would have a 2 bedroom suite with 2 king beds and a pull out sofa, that wasn't the case. This hotel did have a 2 bedroom suite, one king bed and one pull out sofa. That wouldn't have worked for our family of 5, and I guess lucky for us our daughter's friend didn't come, because originally we booked for 6! That room was smelly, […] like mildew. Back at the front desk, they let us look at another room, 1 room, 2 king beds and a pullout sofa! That worked better for us, even though once the sofa was opened, it was crowded in the room. The room was very neat and clean. The amenities were great, but crowded the room even further, The sink was outside of the bathroom, next to that was a refridgerator on top of the dresser, a micorwave next to that with a tray and coffee maker on top of that, next to the flat screen tv. Maybe if the tv was on the wall it would have freed up some space. All in all, it was eat clean and hospitable. Staff friendly, except for the ladies providing the free breakfast, a bit cranky. There was a tip jar there, but it seemed "under used". The breakfast room was small so not enough tables. No pool at this express hotel. There doesn't seem to be an entrance sign and we passed the hotel, as it is hidden by trees. It took us about 12 minutes to get to Hersheypark. There is also fast food, gas and supermarket and kmart within a mile of the hotel. Read more

I stayed there with my kids to be close to Hershey Park and try to be economical. The people were very nice and accomadating there and it is fairly close to Hershey, about a 15-20 minute drive. The rooms, however were pretty small. They were clean, just a little smaller than I expected. All in all it was a good 2 days stay.

The hotel was very accommodating for our family of 4. We traveled with two small children and all of the rooms contained a fridge and microwave. The staff was superb and gave us another room upon check in because the tv did not work. The breakfast was great and the workers greeted the children with little toys at the tables. I just wish for the price […] they could have offered a swimming pool. The rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and it was a great location for visiting Hershey Park. The hotel was a little expensive for the area, but there is no competition which is probably why they can charge whatever they want. Nice and clean stayed there because it was convienent to Lancaster and Harrisburg and they accept dogs. The dog policy on the Hotel website policy does not mach the hotels policy, but the hotel did honor the websites listed policy

Convenient location to exploring Lancaster and Hershey. Roomy but the bathroom had a constant musty/urine odor while the room had a faith smell of cigarettes despite our request for non smoking room. Great breakfast for families on the go.

Booked with Hotels for non-smoking room with 2 double beds. checked in said hotels.com "gets this wrong all the time" and had me in a smoking room. 2 kids with me for a soccer tournament. no way, they changed me to a single queen room, non smoking with a roll away for the same price. We stayed here while we visited the Largest RV show in the US at Giant Stadium in Hershey. It was only about 20 minutes from Hershey and about 30 from Lancaster. The hotel staff is very friendly, especially the front desk lady. The room was very nice (bathroom a little small). The complimentary full breakfast was awesome! Great stay here!

We satyed at the Holiday Inn Express Elizabethtown - Hershey Area because it is between Lancaster and Hershey. It is an easy travel in either direction. We always enjoy our stays at Holiday Inn Express hotels because they are clean and the upkeep is good. If there was an issue it was the lack of an onsite swimming pool. The smell of smoke in this hotel was terrible.We took a smoking room but were surprised that the entire wing smelled so bad. The staff sprayed the room but the lingering smell was still there. I will not stay at this hotel again until the entire facility is non smoking

Arrived pretty late on Memorial Day weekend and the service was pretty good. Our room was clean and the microwave and mini-fridge was great since we had a 5-year old. Their breakfast was top notch. Would stay here again and definitely recommend in Elizabethtown.

The hotel overall was very nice QUIET and clean. The bed was VERY comfy. The breakfast in the morning was very nice they had alot of everything. Checking in and out was easy. The only complaint if any was that the only wasy in or out was thru the front door. The additional entry ways were locked for some reason.

The only hotel we were in on our road trip through 4 states that allowed smoking in the rooms. Hotel smells of strong air freshener when you first walk into hotel, then as you make your way down the hallways it just stinks like cigarette smoke all through the hotel. Very handy for Etown College and Harrisburg Airport so it was an ideal base for getting my daughter settled into college. Very comfortable and clean and the complimentary breakfast was an excellent and very welcome benefit.
