I had booked the room 4 months ahead of time. After a four hour drive, I arrived at 11:30pm, only to be told that I was spending the night at another hotel because they had booked a large group and bumped me. So I was downgraded from a suite to a regular room,and had to pack and unpack on the first day of a very hectic 4-day conference. The hotel did […] sign me up to comp a future stay at a hotel in their chain. So, on the 2nd day, I moved into my suite. The room's wall unit heater/cooler was very loud. The refrigerator was loud, and the toilet never stopped running. I notified the desk about the toilet on the first day but it was never fixed. This location was a short drive from downtown and worth saving the extra money. Very clean suites with full size fridge, hardwood floor in the kitchen area, stove top, microwave, nice sized bathroom, free Wifi was very nice. The bed was very comfy and room very clean.

Surrounded by construction on the freeways, not very friendly walking in terms of lack of sidewalks, etc., makes this hard to stay at for an extended period of time. This was about as good as it gets for the money. The room was perfect, the staff was exceptional and we enjoyed our stay. Someone previously mentioned the towel situation and that is the only thing that I could even dream of being improved, but that would be the only change that I would suggest. I know 4 stars seems strange when I listed every thing as 5. Hotal was great,easy to get to but no restaurant in the building, did have kitchen but didn't see a store close by. Denny's was the only restraurant that was close without getting back on the interstate or going into the neighborhoods. I would recommend it

Although there was nothing wrong with my room (clean and comfortable in all respects), my room was on the 1st floor located next to one of the major side door exits (room 116). The outside door slammed very loudly all night long, literally waking me up every 20 minutes. I ended up leaving at 6:30 am because I was woken up to a shouting match outside […] in the parking lot that lasted for 15 minutes. Also, there are just sheer curtains across the windows, the "black-out" drapery does not cover the window at all, which as a young female staying alone on the 1st floor, made me a little uncomfortable because people could easily see in, especially as I was right next to the outside door. Hotel was average. Didn't like that we had to go to the front desk each day; exchange dirty towels for clean-housekeepng cleans one time a week. Did not have a grocery store within walking distance.(Group took coach bus for competition, so vehicle not avail)

Be careful if you google the address for exact locations that you put Bradbury AVE and not DR or else you will find yourself at a residential street! A call to the hotel and they gave us directions right to it =) They also gave us very friendly directions to our destination downtown. Our room was very clean, had a beautiful kitchenette, flatscreen […] LCD TV, extremely comfortable pillows and bed...it was perfect for our one night stay in Indy and only ~4miles from downtown. We have stayed at another Candelwood Suites in Indy that was nice too but this hotel's bed/pillows were much more comfortable. Read more

I had never stayed at any Candlewood. Was a bit surprised that housekeeping only cleaned up once a week - but it was nice that they wouldn't be disturbing me during the day with their cleaning routine if I wanted to take a nap. And I didn't have to put everything away- particularly my CPAP which holds water for its humidifier. Or worry they'd move it […] or knock it over. The Cupboard (snackshop) had a nice selection of quick snacks and meals for the microwave. I did see one of the housecleaning staff cleaning another room - she didn't just vacuum - she was scrubbing the wood floor in the kitchen area - almost like my wife does at home. Impressive. Very nice overall - except for the fire alarm on Saturday night. I'd stay again - it was 5miles -mostly Xpressway- and 10-15 minutes from the Convention center. Read more
