"NO COMPLAINTS"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.
"great experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay
"Great location and large suits."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The hotel was reasonably priced and a two minute walk from the falls! The rooms were nice (King sized beds!) but watch out for extra charges...they will charge you a hefty rate at the end of your stay for just one nights parking.

Uninhabited Goat Island splits Niagara Falls between the US and Canada: American and Bridal Veil Falls are one side, while Horseshoe Falls is in Canadian territory. Floodlights along the Niagara Falls State Park shoreline illuminate the rapids that rush to the waterfalls. Niagara Falls Observation Tower offers panoramic views, and its glass elevators lead to the Maid of the Mist tour boat.
see all hotels in Niagara Falls"Take my advice, never walk into Travelodge Niagara"
It's a (almost) family-run business. The daughter is the worst "employee" ever. Keep the story short - poor service, least cleanliness, worst quality. When I complain to the owner (a.k.a. the father) about the rudeness of her daughter, he said this to me, exactly, "Well, she is my daughter, and I cant make every customer happy because customers are […] all different." --- Believe me, you won't want to walk into a hotel when the BOSS himself doesn't care about you. "Good but there's better.. Cheap cheap place"
It's cheap and you get cheap, no hot water in evenings and is abit run down. The super 8 across the road looked much better. Quite far from the falls a good 10/15 minute drive.
"Nasty, even in a pinch. Better stay in the car"
Had an emergency in Niagara Falls, so we booked for two nights. Stayed 4 hours, took a shower and left. We use the cheaper hotels because we just need a place to sleep. This is by far the worst we ever stayed in. The main problems are the furniture is old and lumpy and smells. The secondary problems are the place is in need of a major overhaul and total […] cleaning. Just a very not nice place. Read more

"average hotel"
not bad, but not good either.... We booked two rooms, one was ok but the other was musty. Breakfast was 8.00-10.00 am which is a little late in my opinion.
"Do not stay at this hotel"
Do not stay at this hotel as the staff was not friendly and not even bothered to help. The a/c in the room was noisy and kept turning off and on. Unable to sleep. The mattress was very cheap. Overall a bad experience. Try to avoid this place.
"Travelodge Niagara - clean and nice"
The motel was quite clean and nice. The bathroom looked as if it had new furnishings. The area was calm though a bit away from the main falls. The motel was a bit pricey though for its distance from the falls. Overall I would recommend it if you can get a good motel price.

"Travel Lodge Niagara Falls, NY"
This is a simple, yet clean hotel for the basic traveller. It suited our needs and made our visit enjoyable. It was affordable and close to everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel.
"Hotels.com sucks"
We had to pay extra when we got to the hotel because hotels.com messed up our reservations for the 2nd time i will never use them again!!!!!!
This was a very run down place. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

"Good Place to stay for a day or two"
Its a fine place . Although very costly.
"Travelodge in Buffalo"
No pool in the summer for maintenance that takes 3 months. We reserved for 5 people in each room (3 adults and 2 children). The reservation was OK but the reality was not. The room was for four people only. some people slept on the ground.
"Ok place...no frills"
Place was clea, owners very friendly and not bad compared to all the other campish motor courts nearby.
"Travelodge Niagara Falls NY"
was very close to road...felt most uncomfortable. Was a hole in the ceiling, had to cover to try and fall asleep.... Bathroom was very neat, coffee maker avail and appreciated. Will probably not stay there again.
"Terrible Experience"
The hotel should be closed. This place was totally unacceptable for the price of the room. Will never stay there again.

"Room was OK for the Money"
The room was very clean. My only complaints would be that the bed was too soft and the towells too hard. For our one night stay, it was ok.

"Good for the money"
It was a pretty good hotel. The free "shuttle" is actually the Niagara Falls public transportation system. I was given a free pass to ride it. It was OK, though. Overall, this is probably one of the best hotels that is not close to the Falls.
"Great for the price"
Really nice hotel for the price. only 10 mins from the falls, 2 mins from 24hr store and Walmart. Parking is free which is always a great thing. the room was quiet, the AC works good. the bathroom could be cleaner, but was ok too. You don't usually expect towels or soap in this kind of hotels but they were there and it is a very nice thing. we also […] enjoed the free breakfast which was really simple but satisfactory. I would recommend it Read more
"Value for your money."
The greatest benefit of staying at this hotel is the location. It's a 5-minute drive to Niagara Falls. Reception desk was coordial, rooms were clean. For what you pay, its a great deal.
"Just a worst hotel to stay for the price you pay"
All, Please think of staying at the hotel. FOr the price you pay you can get a better hotel for less if you can drive like for an hour from Niagara Falls. You constantly hear voices from adjacent rooms, rooms werent neat. Bed sheets were not good and bed bugs.
"Needs improvement"
Rooms were okay and clean. But we booked the hotel for 3 additional people and paiedd for it additional charge. Still the accessories (like towels etc.) were for 3 people only.We asked the room service, but we had to go personally to the office to bring the towels. Remote control of the TV was not working.
"Clean, good for the price"
Very good room for the money. Clean room and bathroom.Staff were very friendly. The only complain was location;it was right on the street, and not in a complex.
"Travelodge"
Convenient location and clean rooms. Nothing fancy but good by motel standards. I've been there a few times before and this in my rotation of weekend stopovers on cross-border trips. I'd stay there again for sure and defintiely recommend it to others.
"NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!"
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, there was no hairdryer, no bible, no fridge, no microwave, coffee for only one person, no casino shuttle even though it states in the site there is.... and the picture on the site shows a jacuzzi in the queen suite, did I mention there was no jacuzzi! Motel 6 across the street looked much more appealing....
"clean and cheap-an excellent shopping weekend mote"
clean and cheap. the owners are very nice and accomodating. Nothing fancy but perfect for the weekend cross border shopping excursions!!
"Clean and friendly"
This is an older hotel too but it was clean and the bath rooms have been redone. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to others
"Good for price"
If you travel to Niagara Falls by car, then this hotel is good for you. About 10 minutes travelling to the Falls by car, free wifi Internet, free breakfast, a lot of stores and cafees close to the hotel - everything was very good. The room was clean. One minus - the hotel located very close to the road: we've been listening to car sounds all the night […] and early morning. Read more

"Great Value for the Price"
I would stay again .Close to all stores , walmart, fashion outlet mall. Great for canadian shoppers to stay over.
"Worst motel ever"
I have done a fair amount of travelling, and I can say this is one of the worst ever. Espeically for the money. We arrived on November 26th and were escorted to a room that had no heat. After turning the heat on and waiting 45 minutes we asked for another room and were told the heater would eventually heat up but it was really cold outside. I explained […] that our friends were in a hot room, but it didn't matter, we were told to be patient. AFter another 30 minutes I could still see my breath in the room. We finally got a new room but it took getting very angry. Worst experience do not go to this hotel Read more
