"Theft by housekeeping/staff"
I left my phone charger in the room after checkout. I called the same day to report that I left the charger and where it was plugged in, kindly asking the hotel to send the charger to me via USPS. The hotel clerk I spoke to spoke like it was unlikely that the charger would be found, but said that she would check with housekeeping. She took my address […] and phone number and said she would call me if it was located. I requested that she call either way after checking with housekeeping. I never received a call back and the charger was not returned. The room and hotel itself was okay (you get what you pay for), but it did share a parking lot with a rundown motel which made the area look worse than it was. The beds in the room are very hard (and I like a firm bed) leaving my shoulders aching in the middle of the night. If I were to visit this area again, I would choose other accommodations. We saw the pictures and decided that it was a decent hotel. We also paid a good amount of money for this stay. We had a awful stay. The AC unit was making loud noises so were the people on our floor - yelling and shouting till way past midnight and again the next morning. The breakfast was minimal and the same people were blocking the small room while […] 3 other old couples waited on forever. Will never again stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Check out your room."
The first room 114 was not ready, refrigerator issues; the second room 210, had a leaking toilet; the third room 214 had a bad thermosate, it was either on or off; did not set at a temperature. We moved three times that night. The magnetic keys would not always open the door. The breakfast was good and the lady behind the counter was very pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
hotel receptionist was outside smoking at the entrance several times as we were coming and going, leaving reception desk unattended. head housekeeper was dour, sour, unpleasant and never, ever returned any of our, "Hello!" greetings.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok for the $"
The room was clean, beds comfortable, nice size fridge. Stairwells, lobby and parking lot could use some upgrades. You get what you pay for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not far to ECU"
Lovely inexpensive place to stay. Nice restaurant within walking distance, Blackbeard's.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the staff was great, only issue I had was needed more lighting where I ate in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Customer Service person when we got there and left was very nice. We went to our event and came back, found there was not a remote for the TV in the room; I went to the desk, the person there said he would have to get batteries and bring it to me. a half hour later my daughter went back to the desk; found him on his Ipad and again asked for a remote, […] said he would bring it, she waited. Our room was right at the ice machine and the front desk; no sound proofing in the room at all. About 2:30am I was awakened by a loud laugh and commotion in the lobby. I went out to ask if they could be a little quieter; the desk clerk just looked at me. I went back and found some ear plugs. The sanitation grade was 94.5; we did not eat breakfast there. "Washington NC Quality Inn"
Room seemed confortable, but I spend the previous day entirely in my car, not in any wooded areas, yet I had a tick on my back the morning when I was checking out. I was also able to get onto their wifi the morning of check out, but could not get on the night before, dispite several tries, including rebooting my computerGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent overnight stay"
Spent one night on the way to our final destination. Hotel had some age on it, but the lobby and hallways had recent renovations. Rooms had yet to have the same upgrades. Still, not bad for an overnighter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The AC barely worked and they had no fans, i had to go to Walmart and buy a fan for the room. I wont stay there again in the summer time anyway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfort in Washington NC"
Over all it was very enjoyable, we were sorry the pool wasn't opened but after asking I was informed and understood it wasn't there fault. The motel itself was clean and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Room and breakfast"
Room was clean. Breakfast was not the best. Front staff was friendly. Reasonable price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Decent & affordable"
Hotel could use a little sprucing up with some paint & ac/heat units look a lil beat up but didn't interfere with us staying here. Only complaint I have is they could spend some $ on some bigger plusher pillows.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean & safe"
Wonderful! Clean, friendly staff, comfortable. Nice to have a fridge in the room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Pick this one!"
Spent two nights visiting my daughter and could not be more happier with our accomadations. I will stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good Business Hotel"
This hotel was a good value for the price and a good place to stay on a business trip. AC was a little balky possibly because it is an energy saving unit. Other than that the wireless internet was good and the breakfats was very good (not just cereal and fruit).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good place to stay."
The bathroom door wouldn't close. The toilet run when it wanted to. Ironing board was broke. I was told I would get a replacement, but one never came. I did like the hotel though. I liked the room also. Breakfast was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
1st night was not good. Smelled marijuana down the hall on on second floor. a/c in room was not on despite reservation, room took 3 hrs to cool. Lobby used as a social gathering/drinking place. Same for entrance with the addition smoking. Staff was accommodating and moved me to first floor the next day. Rest of stay was better but nothing could reverse […] damage done. "Nice hotel but hotel service at night poor"
Be sure not to forget anything as they have signs everywhere to just check with front desk but checked several times and promised to have next day but day after day didn't happen. If you are traveling on business -- business computer is very slowwwwwwwwww and it is located in the open in the main lobby so no privacy and people in and outGenuine Hotels.com guest review
No complaints, especially for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nicer than expected"
This hotel was actually better than the ratings online. We would stay here again. Staff is very helpful & willing to address all needs. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's perfectly fine for an overnight stay. Very nice breakfast including fresh waffles, eggs & sausage.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were in Washington for a fast overnight stay. Hotel was quiet and clean and staff was courteous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
All in all we had a great stay. The receptionist who checked us in was very willing to please our requests and the room was clean and the neighborhood was fine. The breakfast was good and we will stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Stay with Free Breakfast"
I don't know why this hotel hasn't received higher marks. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean with refrigerator and microwave. The continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles, juices, and the normal items. The staff was very friendly too. It's not the Ritz but it's not a Super 8 either.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Don't be fooled by road signs."
05/21/14 kissyourdog Altamonte Springs, Florida
We were late and Washington seemed to be a good stop off. Our usual choice for a hotel was booked. The road signs said Quality Inn this exit, so the AAA book came out and we saw a three star rating for this hotel. We went to the street address and found a Magnuson Inn. The front desk clerk said the hotel had been bought out in April. The only way I can explain this hotel is imagine a gas station bathroom with a bed. It was disgusting, and the area made you feel like your car would be up on blocks in the morning. The STAFF was VERY helpful and friendly, but it went down hill from there. I will not elaborate from that point. I think you get the picture. There are other hotels in the immediate area, but at that time of day all you want to do is crash.

I was supposed to stay at the Days inn, but after a terrible experience at the Days inn, I was forced to stay at this dump. I checked in, was tired stayed in the handicapped room. Not really cleaned, Smelled like mold, Mildew in the shower and in the corners of the walls where the wall meets the flooring. The front desk clerk was complaining about the middle eastern owners, and how they don't want to spend any money on the motel. I waited in line and listened to two other customers complain about their rooms. I slept with one eye opened, and woke up to cockroaches in the bathroom floor when i went to use the bathroom. I couldn't sleep and checked out the next day. I decided I would drive miles before i will stay in a dump like this again.
"OK for the money."
12/08/13 Zenobia F Spartanburg, South Carolina
Stayed here two nights. All the front desk people we dealt with were very nice. The first morning we had to leave before the breakfast bar was open. I asked if there was a banana available and the desk clerk let us go ahead and eat. Which helped us out a lot. The food was typical for a hotel free breakfast. Breads, cereal, waffle machine, fruit, juice. They did have hot sausage and hard boiled eggs. Certainly not 5star dining but more than adequate. The room was clean. Bed was not the best.My hubby slept fine, a bit hard for me. Micro was not plugged in. I would have had to move it in order to use it. Same with coffee maker. Which I did move and it worked fine. Overall good hotel for the money.
"Last minute - tired at the end of a long day - never again"
09/13/13 sue249 Sutherland, Highland Scotland
Labor Day, so they guy on reception didn't know which rooms were clean - the housekeepers had had the day off. Eventually found a clean room. Corridors were stuffy, no fresh air. The room was OK on first look, but the coffee machine didn't work, the remote control for the Tv didn't work and the clock was set to the wrong time, I know they are small things, but they add up, finally we discovered that the toilet was backed-up and not far from overflowing. Next morning the staff arrived and looked a very dis-spirited bunch of people - not sure if this hotel is about to be closed - it certainly has that feeling about it. On the upside, the complimentary breakfast was fine, and the girl was helpful. Needs decent management.
"Should have stayed elsewhere"

Stayed here a few years ago when it was Holiday Inn Express. Forgot how poor the neighborhood was, but that was nothing compared to the hotel. No elevator and the hallways were at least 100 degrees especially in the stairwell. The A/C in the hall was torn apart. Our room A/C also did not work so we ended up buying a fan at Walmart. The next day the toilet stopped up and we asked for a different room. It was begrudgingly given to us even though the place was mostly empty. The second room had a remote that was not synched up with the TV. After an hour on his pc my husband finally fixed it himself. The staff was very unfriendly and it appears the pool has been closed since our first visit in 2010! There are two dilapidated hotels next door that look like homeless people live there.
"I had money missing out my room never returning"
Don't plan on ever staying in Little Washington again second time I had money missing from out of my room from a hotel there in Washington first time it was at the days in I had left some money laying around while I was out an when I returned it was gone. Very outdated property. Clean. Everything is cheap: towels, tissues, toilet paper. Still using things from when it was a Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast is a joke! NO ELEVATOR. Check out done the old fashioned way...when you leave. Understaffed.
"NICE FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY"
01/01/13 TheLastOfFinest80 Chapel Hill, North Carolina
I ended up staying here while traveling on my way to the coast for the New Year's. I must say that the service at this particular Quality Inn was excellent. The desk person was very nice and social. Had a good conversation with him during the booking process and the room I had was quite spacious and the king size bed I had was comfortable by most standards. I wouldn't mind recommending anyone to stay here at at. This seems to be quite a decent place to stay though its not a luxury hotel, the service here alone is worth a nights stay. KC
"If you only need a place to crash for the night, This will do"

It's nothing to write home about. It's a bit outdated, but for the price what can you expect. It was decent and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything is right up the road (walmart, mcdonalds, burger king, etc.). I'd stay here again if I'm only in town for a night.
