"Good Value for Visitors to Mississippi College"
This hotel was an excellent value. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location was excellent in proximity to Mississippi College and there were tons of dining options. I normally don't like to stay in hotels with outdoor entry, but I felt safe here. I'm sure I'll be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clinton hotel near Mississippi College"
It was a nice hotel, and very quiet, for being next to the highway. Employees very pleasant and helpful. I like a lobby in a hotel and rooms that access from inside. This hotel had all outside doors, and I would have been concerned if I hadn't been with my 20 year old son. I would stay there again with my family, but if I'm traveling alone or with […] my daughter, I would stay in a hotel with inside room access. It just feels safer. Stayed here with my family overnight on our way back from Arkansas. Hotel was located near restaurants. Is on off of I20. No issues with bed or room. We slept comfortable. Would stay here again on our way through
"Convenient to I-20....."
07/02/14 Fred W Rendon, Tx
Easy access from I-20. Cathy the night manager was very accommodating. After a long travel day, it was nice to have a friendly person greet us. We asked for a handicap room, which turned out to be just what we needed. The room was large with a fridge and microwave. Could have asked for a few more towels...but we made due. Breakfast was very nice..plenty to eat ...varied selections ....good coffee. Great room rate using a coupon from the La./Ms coupon book available at most gas stations on I-20.
"Large room, typical hotel odor, good breakfast."

The room was large with lots of furniture. It was worn, but clean. Shower curtain could do with a washing. It was quiet. Check in and out was easy. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. Employees were helpful and friendly. It just had a typical hotel odor.
"Great room, nice pool, friendly staff"

Family trip so this was a stop on the way. The room (123) was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had biscuits and gravy, grits, Lil smokies, cereal, waffles, juice, etc. Tasted great. Pool was very clean. Very good overall.
"Ok room dissapointed over the high pet charge"
06/09/14 Don J Terrell, Texas
Checked in very late, rooms were comfortable and clean breakfast was typical motel fare ok at best, breakfast area clean and stocked decently My one complaint or disappointment was the 20.00 dollar pet fee for a small dog weighing no more than a drop of water and was housed in a pet kennel
"Would stay again!"

Clean, clean motel. They had a good breakfast. The rooms had everything you needed and everything worked. The beds were so, so comfortable! Very quiet for sleeping. We didn't hear anything! Do not hesitate to stay here as the prices were right!

A clean and comfortable stay with breakfast. Was an overnight stay while on a 1000 mile road trip and slept well in quiet surroundings. Pleasant staff and very good price for the room. Ask for the senior discount or AAA if a participating member.
"Oh boy, where to start"

We had two rooms for two nights. Do not stay in 128 or 129 - very bad odor of mold, had to move. Room 133 was filthy - I brought management a cup of trash including a large piece of glass from off the floor. We told Mr Ho that Housekeeping needed to do a much better job. Excellent mattresses in room. Good location. Rooms in the back were quiet. Breakfast was slim but fine. BTW - though advertised, there is no hot tub/jacuzzi poolside. Two parties were complaining.
"Not the best, but not the worst."
The rate for the quality of hotel was double what it should have been, but I think that has more to do with the location being outside of Jackson. Room was poorly cleaned. For example, only high traffic areas appeared to have been vacuumed. Areas close to walls probably haven't been vacuumed in months. Room slept fine. Breakfast was average.
"Owners are inconsiderate people with little English skills."

We were traveling through Mississippi, and were unfortunately involved in a 5 car accident that totaled our car. I usually don't stay in exterior entry hotels but we had no choice since other hotels were booked. When we arrived, it was apparent the front desk staff didn't speak much English. After trying to find out much a room was, we finally got the $80 out of them. They have someone else checking in a $69 rate and tried to secretly give it to them. After the accident, we didn't have the energy to argue. We went to our room and it was adequate. The AC, fridge, and microwave all needed to be replaced. One of my family members was harassed by the (what appeared to be) the owner. She was walking to her car with her cigarettes in hand (to go smoke in her car). He flagged her over and started yelling at her asking "you smoke in room! You no smoke in room?" After she repeatedly told him "no, I'm going to my car", he continued asking "you no smoke in room?". It was apparent he didn't understand her. Another thing that was horrible was the hot breakfast. Quality Inn has a standard hot breakfast, and this wasn't it. They had cocktail wieners, gravy, and grits in the warmer while cold biscuits sat in a pan with a note saying "warm up in microwave if you want warm." The next morning a family member was on her way to pick our group up and and take us home in Louisiana. The front desk staff said that we weren't allowed to stay in the room past 12 because "it must clean right now." The housekeepers apologized for the owners and said they could have come back and did our room last. My family and I were forced to take all of our luggage and walk next door to Popeye's where we ordered lunch and waited. The staff there was much more friendly. I will be complaining to corporate. Stay away!
