When I booked the room because of the name Howard Johnson I thought it would be a nice room. Room had a smell, the toilet was not mounted to the floor. I almost fell off. Asked for extra towels had four adults with two bath towels only. Clerk said we would have to get them in the morning. Area didn't feel safe lots of homeless walking around. Older hotel/motel where all the rooms opened to the outside but was very well done and maintained. Felt comfortable with the location and rooms were comfortable and clean. Good bargain for the price. Would stay here again.

Even though it was last minute booking the hotel , the room smelled clean but the refrigerator was dirty with an wine bottle frozen and burst all over the refrigerator. There was mold on the wall near the bathroom. The a/c was working properly after 5 minutes of being on. The bed was okay but need to change the mattress

When I walked in the room smelled very clean so I felt very comfortable staying there. We had a microwave and a fridge and usually we have to pay more to have either. The price was really worth the stay.

When i pulled up to the hotel, i almost kept driving. I was not impressed. I arrive around 6 and was not allowed in the lobby to check in, the clerk opened a slot only big enough for my id and the paper for me to sign. Def. not what i am accustom to. The inside of the room was ok. Lesson learned. You get what you pay for.

When we got to the hotel, unlike most places where you go through the door they had a bank like opening on the window to pass the id card and credit card.
