Hotel is all right, close to Louisville and 50% of the cost comparing staying at downtown. No free breakfast but on-site restaurant offers good breakfast at reasonable price (huge volume). Only complaining is the A/C, very noisy, and the toilet tank is leaking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Same Good Breakfast"
This used to be a HI Express, just changed the name this year. I always like HI Express' breakfast, glad they keep the same. Hotel has many buildings connected ans many doors need to be opened (get your hand free to do so). The electronic key was not function well, always needed many trials to open the door in all 3 days and 2 rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
you might think about getting new mattress. The beds sunk in the middle.Everything else was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was wa and inviting. The staff were more than accommodating. Would stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
No elevator, no microwave, no refrigerator, back entrance door closest access to our room was broken and could not be used with entrance card, and front desk knew this and didn't bother telling us until we discovered it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our tub didn't drain so we had to turn off the water multiple times to let the water drain down. The outside door by us never did close all the way so it was a good and bad thing we never had to have our key ready to enter the building but anyone could have walked in the back door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not Much Quality at the Quality Inn"
The location and convenience to local amenities was excellent, however, the room was in disrepair - bedside lights did not work, the door was loose as if it had been kicked in. Smoke from other rooms was noticeable, bedding was worn. Breakfast was nice, but people were constantly waiting for some of the items to be replenished. It worked for one night, […] but I will not return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
i thought the staff was courteous and helpful. I thought the room was clean and the location was perfect for the event I was in town for.I was really impressed with the automatic pancake machine. I had never seen such a thing and the pancakes were great. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean Hotel, Friendly Staff, Excellent Hotel for Short or Extended Stay"
07/03/14 Pat W Tucson, Arizona
My husband and I stayed at this Quality Inn from late February through April, 2014. We were visiting family members who lived in the area and we needed to stay for an extended period of time. When we arrived, this was a Holiday Inn. Shortly after we arrived, this changed ownership and converted over from being a Holiday Inn Express to a Quality Inn and Suites. The transition was wonderfully smooth. A big strength of the Holiday Inn had been its outstanding Desk Staff, so we were very pleased to see that several of those employees continued to work here. When this became a Quality Inn, we immediately noticed enhancements and upgrades. By the end of our stay, housekeeping and cleaning of the facility were meticulous. Any minor maintenance issue we mentioned was attended-to immediately. The complimentary breakfast bar was enhanced, always well-stocked and well-maintained throughout the breakfast hours. Each member of the Staff was friendly, very professional and ready to be of assistance. It is in a convenient central location, easy to get in and out of, with plenty of free parking. The rooms are quiet and the beds are wonderfully comfortable, so sleep quality is excellent. There is a very nice, large-screen TV in each room. With the excellent quality of this hotel and the welcoming, professional friendliness of the Staff, this Quality Inn became a “home away from home” for us. We will definitely return there on our future visits to the area. We recommend it highly.
"Very Nice Stay"
06/30/14 Todd J Colfax, Iowa
Went to the West side of Chicago not knowing what we would find. Great area to visit. This hotel is where we ended up and we were very happy. It is easy to get to and you can get anywhere in the area in a reasonable time. It was clean and the staff was great. We will stay here again.
"Clean, Basic, Friendly Staff"
06/11/14 sme0284 Washington DC, District of Columbia
Stayed at the Quality Inn this past weekend (June 2014). Centrally located, so that was good. Basic accommodations, all clean, and a very friendly staff so that was good. Breakfast was okay (could have done with more fruit, less pancakes and gravy-type things). The pool was very nice and very sunny. Giving this 3-stars as it is just an average place. But, I'd stay again when in town.
Each and every time I stay I am greeted with a friendly face. People here are very accommodating. Rooms are nice. Beds are amazing. Building is always clean. Common areas are well kept. Breakfast is always good and well stocked and kept up.
"Easy in, easy out, quiet, and a great price."

Clean, shower head was high enough that I didn't have to bend over, which means a lot to a big guy. Shower pressure was good. Bed was super comfortable. Very clean. Took a cab to the Arcada Theater, only 6 bones! Absolutely recommend.
"Not too bad of a place for a short stay...and breakfast is very good!"
02/20/14 Michael S Champaign, Illinois
We (wife and I, daughter and son-in-law) had two rooms and stayed there for the weekend. Hotel is fair, and certainly not a luxury one, but the room was clean, beds were soft and clean, bathroom a little too small, and the noise level was very quiet. Minor thing was lack of shampoo in the bathroom, but no big problem...we had our own. Breakfast was very good for being complimentary with good selections of hot and cold items. It is easy to get in and out, and no parking fee. Will try them when we get back to the area.
"Nice place to stay near home"
11/06/13 Steve D Saint Charles, Illinois, Usa
We had to vacate our home in St. Charles to have our floors refinished. The problem is "we" included our (2) dogs. There are very few pet friendly hotels in the area so the proximity to the house was great. The room was nice but best of all the rooms in the pet section backed up to a large grassy area to walk the boys. There are many other very nice hotels in the area but Holiday Inn provided the necessary amenities needed for the situation. Additionally they had a very nice breakfast bar and the staff was very pleasant.
"Fine choice for my short stay"
10/05/13 phoeg Oklahoma City, OK
I recently had to go to the St. Charles/Geneva/Batavia, Illinois area for a funeral. I don't know the area and I got this hotel through Hotwire®. I had no problems. In reference to other reviews I had no problems with fleas, bedbugs, or other insects. Okay, so the furniture may not have been the most modern in style BUT it was not beaten up, broken, or dirty; it was clean, dust free and did what it needed to do. The TV and alarm clock worked properly (something not every place can claim in my experience!) and there were enough outlets to charge my electronics. There was no closet, BUT--and this is key--it was a handicapped accessible room with the necessary huge bathroom. That arrangement most likely took away from a dedicated closet space, but there WAS a shelf with a closet rod to hang my clothes on so there was no problem. The bathroom was clean, and while some people may grouse about every little water stain on the shower (and there were a few, but small, and around only a couple of screws holding the many grab rails and such in place) I had NO problems with cleanliness. In short, it was clean, bug free, near chain restaurants that are nice for a passer-through. It was just fine. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. I have no complaints and would stay there again if in the area for a short trip like this.
6 of us stayed here in a few diff rooms and within 5 mins of being in our room I had flea bites! By the time I left over 2 nights I had 54 and brought fleas home with us and are now dealing with getting rid of them, total pain!
"Dated holiday inn express"
08/12/13 hellokitae Atlanta, Georgia, USA
I stay in holiday inn express accommodations quite often. This property is very overdue for a renovation. The furniture is dated, carpet is aged and cleanliness is questionable! I had a small hair and nail clipping in/on my bed. I would not stay at this Holiday Inn Express again.
