Trattoria - Specializes in Italian favorites. The signature dishes are Pizza Trattoria, and Malfatti.
Thai Pavilion - A true Thai specialty restaurant. Raw Papaya Salad, Pla Rad Prik, steamed fish, and Phad Thai noodles are the main dishes. Konkan Café - Outfitted with unique décor resembling that of a typical Mangalorean home. Cuisine includes seafood from the western coast, as well as traditional Indian options. Prawn Gassi, Neer Dosas, and Appams are the specialties. Konkan Café also features a seafood display and an open bread-kitchen.
WINK - A high-energy bar with unique contemporary Asian décor in rustic earthy tones. Serves all leading international brands of spirits and wines including more than 40 brands of whiskies and 25 brands of vodkas. All premium cigarette brands are also available. Music is piped throughout. Open evenings only.

Taj President features an outdoor swimming pool. A fitness center and spa are also available. Rejuvenating ayurvedic massage can be arranged at the Marine Lines. A short guide to Colaba
Colaba, situated at the southernmost tip of Mumbai, is one of the most exciting places in the city. Colaba Causeway is a tourist hub which runs parallel to the Gateway of India, which has always been a hot vacation destination. When in Colaba, visit the Prince of Wales Museum and the Regal Cinema, one of the few old movie theatres in service in the city of Mumbai. There are numerous shops and sidewalk stalls that deal in costume jewellery, t-shirts, low-priced leather goods, semi-precious stones, authentic Indian ware, as well as Kashmiri carpets and shawls. It's best to visit several shops while exploring all of the opportunities for a good deal and negotiating on price. The causeway is also lined with food kiosks, restaurants, and cafes. Leopold's Cafe & Bar and Cafe Mondegar are some the most famous restaurants in this area.

We highly recommend the Taj President to travelers to Mumbai. The staff were incredibly gracious and helpful. We stayed at the Taj a total of 4 nights throughout our 3 week tour of India on three different occasions as we used Mumbai as our base. All 3 rooms were SPECTACULAR even though each was unique. During one stay the staff upgraded us to a room with a stunning view. The breakfast restaurant is terrific with many choices for breakfast. The staff at Wink were as terrific as the cocktails. We also truly enjoyed a lovely dinner at Konkan Cafe. Don't overlook the President for it's more well known sister, the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower - the President is also a treat.

The hotel was great! The hotel was hard to find but in a great location for sight seeing. The only complaint was the AC in our room was not working properly. Otherwise i would stay here again.

Great place. Exceptional service. Good security measure: You have to go through metal detector at the entrance + police everywhere around the hotel. The neighborhood is average but this is Bombay (a lot of people are very poor).

Booked the hotel for 4 nights while vacationing in Mumbai with a friend. The room was neat, clean nad comfortable. It is not big but was enough to accomidate to big luggage pieces so it was out of the way. The service was great, the sheets where always clean and fresh. The are a few restaurants in the lobby and a bar/lounge with some amazing (but a bit pricy) drinks Highly recommend this hotel!

While this hotel isn't cheap, service is excellent, and it was completely professionally run. We were upgraded to a superior room, just renovated and it was beautiful. No complaints at all.

"Total Oasis"

... And you need an oasis at the end of a day of buzzing around chaotic Mumbai. The staff could not have been more friendly, attentive, or helpful, from cleaning our rooms to giving us directions and making dinner reservations. The room was a bit small, but very new, fresh, and clean. The bed was cozy and the rainfall showerhead a dream. The pool area is small, but well kept and quite nice. Both restaurants in the hotel serve delicious food (Indian and international) and the bar has a large selection of yummy drinks. For us, the Taj President was safe, practical, relaxing, and romantic. We would definitely choose it again.

Clean, comfortable with impeccable service. What more could you want? Exellent location for Nariman Point. Very nice bar within the hotel. Breakfast is also excellent. What more could you ask for?

Hotel très agréable. Service de grande qualité. Personel très serviable. Les chambres ont un style un peu désuet mais tout à fait charmant. Seul bémol pour un hotel de cette catégorie, une odeur de moisi dans la chambre.

En plein coeur de Colaba, cet hôtel est un point de chute idéal pour visiter Charchgate, Gateway of India, Elephant Island et tous le patrimoine britannique. Magnifique emplacement dans la baie, restaurants variés et un service irréprochable et accueillant. Un peu éloigné du Nord de la ville.
