Superb service, very friendly and helpful staff from the moment you arrive and greeted by the concierge. Bags carried direct to room while we waited by the busy very pool filled with lots of kids, but I guess you get that in school holidays. If there is one thing to ruin a romantic getaway it's kids. We were upgraded to a lagoon spa room, however the […] lagoon is tired and run down and is in desperate need of a clean and there was mould growing outside our room. When first entering room there was a hinted stale smell, like 20yr old cigarette smoke soaked into the carpets, but could have just been some weird cleaner they used. My wife (smoker) couldn't smell it but it really got into my (non-smoker) nose. Room was large and bed was huge and luxurious. We didn't eat at the hotel at all, but went across the road to the marina where there are some amazing restaurants over looking the broadwater and gets a perfect sunset. Very romantic! Easy access to the beach out the back gate. Overall a great hotel but feels like it's well past it's former glory in the 80's, probably why it's half the price of it's major competition across the road. But still feels on the expensive side. An adequate hotel but in need of a clean up, especially "lagoon" areas. Pool too small for size of hotel. Despite asking for a high floor, we were "upgraded" to the bottom floor, in the far corner of the hotel.

The staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. They seemed to have policies and procedures all over the place and were not empowered to actually do anything to make decisions for themselves. The pool area was dirty and very over-crowded. The sun loungers are packed in and you feel like you are on top of the next person and practically stepping over […] people to walk around the edge of the pool. The hotel lobby is nice and impressive and clean. The breakfast was good but very expensive if you haven't already pre-ordered with your booking. The hotel configuration is rooms based off 2 long arms that span off the main lobby. They are connected by freezing cold walkways. The room itself was pleasant but had no balcony so we were kind of cooped up in a room for 5 nights which got a bit stuffy - if we had had children I think it would have been very cramp and unenjoyable. Excellent choice of hotel on the Gold Coast, everything of very high standard. Spacious room, quality breakfast. Well situated, direct access to beach, but also footbridge to marina with shops, restaurants. Highly recommended.

A Family Holiday 6 days at the Sheraton was the best experience of all..if I'm going back to Gold Coast again, I will definitely stay in Sheraton Mirage Resort& Spa again..just doesn't get any better anywhere else!...Love my stay in Sheraton :)

Extremely nice staff, clean and spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast. There is nothing happening in the "resort", so it is very boring to stay there; very overpriced drinks.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The service in the hotel everywhre wa impecable and could not be faulte. The beffet breakfast was as god as I have experienced at any 5 star hotel around the world. My only gripe would be that th pools need to be repainted as they are looking a little dated.

The hotel is nice. There is still some reno work to be done to the fountaines around the facilite. It is a bit out of the way from the major gold coast attactions. But has very easy access to the beach.

I was pleasantly surprised as I know the Sheraton Mirage has been around for many years but the refurb is excellent and the hotel looks great. The room was spacious and nicely designed with plenty of cupboard and draw space, the bed extremely comfortable and the breakfast had plenty to offer. Stayed at many hotels across the world and this was one of the best, great location, great service, if you don't enjoy your stay here you're just a picky person. Our room was clean and large, the hotel staff were friendly, pool was fantastic and with beach access just behind the pool gives you a choice of a swim in the pool drinking a cocktail or having […] a swim in the surf. The buffet breakfast in the morning was fantastic, my partner and i enjoyed it every morning during our stay, fresh, hot and plenty to choose from. The evening buffet was lovely, there were many choices for food, at the hotel or just cross the road to the marina mirage and you will find more restaurants. We will stay here again next time we're in the gold coast, i recommend this resort to anyone, just go there sit back and relax, fantastic holiday resort. Read more

What a fiasco! My daughter's wedding and her daughter's 18th should have been special. Granddaughter's clothing was sent to wrong room---it was 4 minutes before the wedding before it was delivered! Both bride and birthday girl were extremely stressed. Bek didn't have time to change undergarments to suit dress nor add accessories....wedding had to be […] held up for her. The room with 2 beds was not available as booked on the net. I had to pay extra to upgrade as they couldn't provide a suitable room. Receptionist said she would send up a birthday cake for 18th birthday......never arrived. When we checked out she realised her $100 charger was missing. It had also been sent to a wrong room and we had to wait for it to be found. We are certainly ensuring that we tell everyone about the poor service. We were extremely stressed by checkout time and most unhappy with our experience. Read more

We had a fantastic time at the Sheraton Mirage! Staff were friendly, facilities were clean and tidy and the food was amazing! Loved my stay at the Sheraton Mirage; the facilities were great and staff were friendly and helpful. My only comment would be that the Oyster Bar was a little disappointing as it is described as an 'intimate restaurant' but had the television on! Food however was delicious. Overall, would highly recommend staying at the Sheraton.

The Sheraton is a lovely hotel. It is a resort hotel which leaves you with the feeling you could be anywhere in the world. Having said that, I have a gripe. We were placed in the older section of the hotel with wooden construction walls up in the hallway and dirty carpets near the lift from all the construction taking place. We decided at the last minute to have a parent getaway. We searched on Expedia.com and this resort came up as the top recommendation. When we arrived we were very impressed by the surroundings and our room was spacious, clean and inviting. Room service is incredibly expensive, as was the mini bar. We were lucky enough to have the breakfast buffet included […] in our deal. This was fabulous!!! The only complaint that we had was that the pillows were uncomfortable, although they did have 2 on offer in the room (feather and latex). We found the staff to be attentive and pleasant. No request was too much trouble. We will definately be back, but this time with the kids so that we can make use of the amazing swimming pool. Read more

The resort is really good and relaxing. Just 1 mins to the main beach of Gold Coast, excellent! I love the quiet environment and really nice view there. The only problem is not many shops around the resort, need to take bus to surfer paradise for shopping and having night life.

We 2 young girls spend 3 nights in there was great experience! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful even we are not speaking good English :) love the pool and the little balcony in front of our room :D The interior was a bit old compare to Versace but very clean and tidy, and money for Value!
