The hotel was very nice. We were able to check in early. Very nice breakfast every morning. Large room with balcony and fireplace. Very comfortable.

The Grover Beach Holiday Inn Express was perfect for our stay. The beds were comfortable, the service good and the breakfast was perfect.

All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful! We really appreciated how quiet it was at night - we slept great. We had two complaints: the air conditioner created "snow" all over the front of it and we turned it off to melt it, then it spit ice at us when we turned it back on; we received NO maid service during our stay - it was probably an oversight, but unprofessional none the less.

This hotel was a good value for the money. The rooms are roomy and clean. They offer a good full breakfast with eggs, bacon, ceral, muffins, coffee and juices. Wow that is just a plus in any hotel. Very easy access to the freeway. If you are driving from San Fracisco to L.A. and do want to make the drive in one day stay here because it is 3 1/2 from San Francisco to here and from here to L.A. it is 3 1/2 hours. I will stay here agian and I recommend this for anyone who needs a good nights sleep after a long day of driving.

I had a hard time sleeping, one night I had noisy kids next to me and the second night I swear there was an elephant in the room above me. I usually sleep like a log so for me to be disturbed it had to be bad. Sound proofing seriously needs to be improved - everything else was above average.

We would stay there again. Great heated Pool with very nice setting. Lots of very near-by shoping. Good rates. Easy 101 free-way access.

The hotel was close to Pismo Beach and it was clean and comfortable. In the surrounding community there were several shops which was convenient for little emergencies.

I have stayed here several times and the hotel is fine. Clean, well appointed rooms with nice amenities. On my redcent stay the AC in the room I was in didn't work well and had I not been lazy I am sure they would have moved me. So, I opened a windos. Also, expect to plug in an ethernet cable. I have never successfully connected to their wifi network. They have a box of ethernet cables at the front desk.

Wonderful service, we didn't get into town until midnight and they let us check in. Very secure, needed a key to get into the building. Beds were super comfortable, everything was clean and nice. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to go to Pismo, Grover Beach, Oceano, anything in that area.

Hotel was clean well maintained, great beds with great pillows, minutes away from pismo beach, and San Louis, anybody travling to the area great central loction, just mintues from everything, also great breakfast.

This hotel was wonderful in every bit. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here every second! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the restroom was great as well! The room had all of the anemeties* except for a microwave - although we did not need one and they probably supply one if requested, etc. The continental breakfast that was offered was delightfully delicious, and we both enjoyed it! The location of the hotel was also a big plus; it was a mile or two from Pismo beach and close to the freeway (very convenient). All in all, everything about this hotel was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely be looking foward to staying here again the next time we come to Pismo beach!

I am biased as I have never really had a good experience at a Holiday Inn Express. When we got to the hotel at midnight they gave us the key to a room that was already in use (awkward). I had to hike it back to the desk and get a new key. Really a pain.

No ice machine in the building we were staying in. We had to go to another building up a flight of stairs for ice.

Probably the best continental breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. They had omelets, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy, cinnamon rolls, muffins, toast, cereal, bagels, milk, and juice. The room was nice and the furniture was classy. The wifi didn't work for me but they loaned me an ethernet cable to use for my stay. The one negative was that the pool jacuzzi were closed which wasn't shown on hotels.com. However, it was 65 degrees outside and rainy during my stay so I didn't miss out on anything. Overall, i was very happy with my stay.

Nice hotel. Check to see if the pool/jacuzzi is open during your stay. They were willing to allow us access to another hotel's pool/jacuzzi, but you couldn't walk to it. Free breakfast.

The hotel met our expectations, except that the pool/spa was closed for repair. The restaurant next door was a little pricey, but had great food and LOTS of it. Better be hungry if you go there.

The beds were comfortable. The Breakfast in the Mornings were perfect. The closness to everything was awesome. Highly recomended!

Very clean, excellent free breakfast, beds so soft they almost melt, nice fluffy towels and very fast internet. What more could you want?

The hotel was great, the employees were super nice, the room was clean, it was exactly like the picture shows. I enjoyed my stay, it was right off the freeway, convenient to get to. Close to everything I would definately stay again.

Although the area was clean and safe, the hotel is far from the beach. The amenities were very nice, however. For example, the breakfast buffet and well-appointed rooms. We booked two rooms and both had gas fireplaces. One of the fireplaces did not work, however. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would stay there again.

We stayed for one night on route to LA. My socks were black from walking around the carpet without my shoes on. The bed is horrible and gave me a backache. Towels are old and we found hair in one of them. We canceled our reservation for the trip back.
