"Verry disappointing , Over priced"
Room is extremely small and not really 24 sqmeter as defined. The toilet is so small that is difficult to turn around. The carpet has sticky feeling. Very uncomfortable. Nobody helps u to carry your luggage to room eventough we have 2 young kids . You have to stop your own taxi. This is very different from other Novotel.Yet the price is relatively […] high . The photo of the lobby and room shown on internet is really zoom to extra large . Reality was tiny. We stay in other HK hotel before and this is not worth the price paid . May I suggest one of our Premier rooms or a Junior Suite which may suit your family needs better. Staying in the WanChai and Causeway Bay area means you've been there before and know what the location offers (bars, foods and access to the CBD). And the Novotel is right in the middle of it all. "Very good - but could be better"
Three complaints: Like so many other good hotels, the bedding supplied is completely inappropriate for the climate leading to the air conditioning being set at a wasteful 20 degrees Celsius or lower so that you don't wake up in a pool of perspiration. "Good hotle for a stop over"

"Queen side bed is not of western standard."

Was there for an exhibition and its just 10 minitues walking distance. Walk from the hotel and HKCEC is all sheltered. It's good for those going to HKCEC. It was clean, good service by staff, the breakfast buffet was good and the location was close to Wan Chai MTR station so it was easy to get around. "Close to convention centre"
Clean hotel with pleasant staff. Very expensive food and drinks. Someone signed a dining room charge to my room and the front desk fixed it pretty quickly at check out. I have stayed at this hotel a few times before; however, this time I feel that the service is not up to standard. I had to bring my own luggages from the taxi all the way to the room as no one had offered help at all. "Small rooms, expensive"

Hotel condition was good, location was just outside of shopping, entertainment and food. The worst experience was the staff, impersonal and not helpful in any department. I stayed at the Novotel Century for 5 nights, so got to know it pretty well. the location is good - a 5 minute fast walk to the MTR and close to restaurants and a 7/11 shop to buy water, if you don't want to pay hotel prices. "Very mouldy smells in three rooms shown"
I booked an executive room so upon arrival was very disappointed to find a small room that smelt so strongly of mould that I immediately complained to the front desk. They were very polite and efficiant and sent someone up straight away who also agreed that the room had a very strong smell of mould. I was shown another room that was two doors away that […] also smelt as strong. I asked if there was a problem with the aircon (mouldy smell) and as both rooms I was shown were very small if there was a larger option as I was spending one week in HK. The front desk arranged very quickly to show me a suite that amazingly did not smell of mould,but that this would cost me 800$ extra per night. They said that I could only stay 4 nights though as the room was due for some repairs. (I said ok but did not move as the other suite I was shown smelt really mouldy and stuffy again.) I haggled the front desk down to 600hk per night extra as I had prepaid the room through Expedia and could not face treking around HK in the middle of the night with my bags looking for another room. The breakfast room has extremely small and low tables and chairs and this remind me of meetings with my children's teacher in their classroom. (Although it makes for entertainment first thing in the morning watching city professionals trying to eat with their knees around their ears with their ties in the cereal.)
