"Roomsafe"
Came to the hotel room. The room safe did not work, tried to call the reception to get it fixed. No one answered, had to go through concierge and it took 40 minutes before finally fixed. I was starving and wanted to go out to eat, but had to wait for the safe to get fixed. Got no apology from staff that safe was not checked to work before I arrived. During my stay the safe again failed and I almost missed an important appointment waiting for it to be fixed again.

"Convenient hotel between Wanchai & Causeway Bay"
Stayed one night in Dec 2014. Comfortable bed, clean room. Room size is not large but adequate. A bit difficult to use the TV remote - needed to be close to the TV. Breakfast buffet was adequate - western and Asian options. Was on the premier floor with complimentary Wifi and used the lounge on 23rd floor once - small and can be crowded during evening cocktail time. Good fitness facilities and also a pool. Hotel is located 5-6 mins walk from Wanchai MTR; and probably 6-8 mins walk to Causeway Bay. Plenty of food options within 10 mins walk from the hotel. Would stay again.

"MTR Wanchai in walking distance."
Not far from MTR. There is free airport shuttle right in front of the hotel. Room is quite big compare to other hotel in Hong Kong.

"Verry disappointing , Over priced"
Room is extremely small and not really 24 sqmeter as defined. The toilet is so small that is difficult to turn around. The carpet has sticky feeling. Very uncomfortable. Nobody helps u to carry your luggage to room eventough we have 2 young kids . You have to stop your own taxi. This is very different from other Novotel.Yet the price is relatively high . The photo of the lobby and room shown on internet is really zoom to extra large . Reality was tiny. We stay in other HK hotel before and this is not worth the price paid . No wifi , small 5 feet bed . It should be rated 3 star instead. Surrounding was local old Hong Kong flat and shops.hotel room facing other building.

"Great location; Outdated and dirty facilities"
Staying in the WanChai and Causeway Bay area means you've been there before and know what the location offers (bars, foods and access to the CBD). And the Novotel is right in the middle of it all. Being over 10 years old, the hotel is showing its age with super small rooms, dirty carpets, mold in bathrooms and dated furnishings. For $200/night, there's a lot more in the area offering cleaner and larger accommodations (for less).

"Very good - but could be better"
Three complaints: Like so many other good hotels, the bedding supplied is completely inappropriate for the climate leading to the air conditioning being set at a wasteful 20 degrees Celsius or lower so that you don't wake up in a pool of perspiration. Wi-Fi is free is so many cheaper hotels. Why do the large chains continue to charge. In this case every time one logged in a further charge was incurred. The breakfast was excellent, but there was no light (or continental) alternative.

The hotel was fine for a two night stop over, the rooms were small and there was quite a bit of mould in the rooms, often evident in such tropical climates. The breakfast was excellent. Neighbourhood was good. Overall a good stay.

We were recommended this hotel by someone who stayed there previously, as we were only there for 2 days it was OK. With Novotel hotels you know what you are getting so we there weren't any problems on the score. The location of it was disappointing however.

Was there for an exhibition and its just 10 minitues walking distance. Walk from the hotel and HKCEC is all sheltered. It's good for those going to HKCEC. The hotel is also clean and the gym is in good condition too! Few minutes walk to one of the nicest roasted goose restaurant. Transportation are convenient, the MTR is easily accessible too. 2 stations away from tsim tsa tsui. Overall, good for business and casual travellers !

My partner and I stayed at the Novotel Century Hong Kong for six nights and were pleased with the stay. It was clean, good service by staff, the breakfast buffet was good and the location was close to Wan Chai MTR station so it was easy to get around. It's also close to Hennessy Road and 20+mins walk to Causway Bay shopping. The outdoor pool was nice and the gym was well-equipped and well-maintained. WiFi access was good too.

"Close to convention centre"
Clean hotel with pleasant staff. Very expensive food and drinks. Someone signed a dining room charge to my room and the front desk fixed it pretty quickly at check out. Only real comaint was the super hard mattress otherwise it was a quick walk to the convention centre for the conference.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before; however, this time I feel that the service is not up to standard. I had to bring my own luggages from the taxi all the way to the room as no one had offered help at all. I remember that during my 1st stay there years ago, the front desk stuff was very warm and friendly. The room is not big but it is alright for 2. However, I think that the bath tub could be cleaner. As we were traveling to Shenzhen the next day, the location is the best as the bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Clean rooms decent size. bathroom shower glass barely covers half of the bathtubs, shower water splashes all over the floor. Breakfast buffet was very good, front desk was very helpful. Over all very good service! Hotel location is excellent, close to Wanchai subway, and close enough to all the good restaurant and bars yet in the middle of the night scene.

"Small rooms, expensive"
We arrived after 19 hours traveling, tired and wanting to sleep. Room wasn't ready, rooms tiny, extra bed made it difficult to move around. Very expensive to eat or drink. Felt cold and unwelcoming . We moved on day three to the Grand Harbour. 100% better

Great location, with a great fitness facility, but disappointed that they do not enforce their non-smoking policy. I was put on a " non-smoking" floor, on which the air quality was very poor. When filing a complaint at the front desk, the clerk merely shrugged.

"Impersonal Staff"
Hotel condition was good, location was just outside of shopping, entertainment and food. The worst experience was the staff, impersonal and not helpful in any department. Quick to get rid of you, impartial answers, no awareness of the area and where and how to get to someplace. I will NEVER stay at this hotel.
