The room was pretty average (but clean!), and the breakfast was great! (French toast, pancakes, real fruit topping, eggs, sausage, bagels, and more). Also, it's a very short drive to Stanley Park.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel for family"
Reasonable price, clean, and close to many attractions.Genuine Expedia guest review
We had a room with 2 qn beds, it was waaay too small for 4 people. Bathroom waaay too small, no counter space, you have to use whatever you need then pack it back away then get the next thing you need. Floor wasn't level, you went uphill to get to bathroom. Rooms very close to a main road, alot of traffic noise. Pool also small with 3/4 of it either […] 3ft or 8ft, not much in the middle. Their "deluxe breakfast" was far from it and you're not suppose to take food back to your room, but dining area was also very small so didnt seat very many. They had a sign asking you to not take more the 15min to eat and leave so someone else can come eat. There was 2 computers in the lobby but they were set up so you had to stand, dont want you to get too comfortable there either. We checked in on Wed and checked out on Sat. till checkout I had only seen 1 employee, she was very nice and helpful, checking out there was 2 guys at the desk, not very friendly and neither even asked how our stay was or if everything was ok. He even seemed to be bothered by my asking why I didnt get any kind of receipt or making sure that the credit card I had to give at checkin for extras was not going to be charged. I will never stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was fine, quiet, clean and easy location for us.Breakfast was not good, very crowded, coffee was terrible!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We liked this hotel alot.. It was close to where we wanted to go, we actually booked another night at this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When we booked, we were looking for a place with free parking since we knew that parking was a premium item in Vancouver. Being in North Vancouver provided this. The free breakfast was a real bonus. Traffic in Vancouver is difficult, though, so use mass transit whenver possible!?!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Stanley Park, Suspension Bridge, Grouse M"
Pro: Very Good over all experience.. will definitely recommend to friends to stay here. Con: The check-in person in the hotel in the night of 16th july was completely out of touch with customer service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"North Vancouver - Capilano Rd."
We enjoyed Vancouver a lot. I would like to suggest a few items that should be available in the hotel room. The bathroom needs a double hook to hung you clothes or towels - Also there should be at least one mirror outside the bathroom in the hotel room. it is very inconvient that it's only in the bathroom that there is a mirror.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location to attractions in Vancouver!"
For us it was location, good clean hotel, close to Grouse mountain, and the suspension bridge, just minutes away from Stanley Park. The pool was warm and clean. We enjoyed are stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a great hotel but motel"
The room was just ok, it is not like a hotel, it is more like a motel. The breakfast is good but very few seat in the dinning area. The internet was not working in the first night and they can't solve the problem immediately until next day. It is terrible to travel cross the bridge during evening. Therefore, it is an disadvantage to stay in north V […] if you want some evening activities. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is in a very convenient location, it is clean, very well maintained and the staff are friendly. The one thing that needs improvement is theserving of breakfast: while there at a little after 9 a.m. there were no more sausages, scrambled eggs, butter and orange juice When guests made noise about that new supplies were ordered up. Then, while […] waiting for the new items, someone came in and reminded the guest it was almost 0930 and we had better hurry up! Nobody paid any attention, of course!Other than this littleincident we enjoyed our stay, also helped along by the fantastic weather. The day this happened was Tuesday, July 17,2012. We had room 124 - very nice, with comfortable beds. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ehhhh, not the best."
We didn't have incredibly high expectations, but what we really wanted the first night we were there was to order a pizza and watch a movie. It's in North Vancouver, and several pizza places wouldn't deliver to us. And the hotel doesn't have On Demand or Pay Per View movie services (most hotels do by now, I'm pretty sure...). We were supposed to have […] wireless in our room, but it didn't work most of the time... SO, not awesome. It was okay... The room was clean, the front desk people were nice. But they were missing some basic amenities that we would have liked. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Motel, not a Hotel!"
if you have to stay in North Vancouver , remember you should not call this Hotel! its a motel! small with even smaller breakfast room. you can have your breakfast if you can find space in a very small space!Genuine Expedia guest review
"don't like it"
The room smells even though nothing seems old inside. We have to keep the windows open until night. The breakfast area is way too small for such a busy hotel. Will not stay there if we go back to that city again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just a bit run down and tired."
A bit run down, breakfast was a bit sparse, could have been kept up a little better....expected more for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is right across the Lion's Gate bridge, in North Vancouver. It's a great location. They have a small but adequate pool and laundry facilities. The only problem I had was with the card scanner at the door to my room. The card reader was a bit faulty so it was difficult to get into the room. You had to swipe the car "just so.". I over heard […] another guest at the front desk complaining about it. She thought her card was not working. It I found that the issue was actually the card readers. Aside from that, a great value. Breakfast was great. There was hot food--eggs, sausage and pancakes/waffles. The breakfast room was a bit small but ok. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A solid stay"
Overall experience was pleasant. It's not the fanciest of hotels but reasonably priced and located in a relatively accessible area to the sites and sounds of Vancouver.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fabulous location for a modest hotel."
Seems that long term residents at the hotel lack the courtesy of knowing not to congregate on the walkway till all hours, talking, smoking, running, slamming doors, loud voices out side my door(everyone's door) every night of my 5 night stay until after midnight each night. Breakfast was also ruined by the obnoxiousness of these guests. I have been […] visiting my parents in Vancouver multiple times a year for 30 years & this is my first stay at your hotel. The staff was lovely, curtious & helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a great visit to Vancouver. The hotel was just right for us!!! I would recommend it to others. I found the bed and pillows wonderful. If I had to mention one thing that needs improvement it would be the breakfast each morning. No matter what time we arrived, there was not much left. Little or no eggs and sausage. No plates one morning.... otherwise […] the visit was perfect! Thank you! I would stay with you again!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Suspension Bridges"
Chose this location because it is close to bus stops and suspension bridges. It was a little farther from Harbor Ferry than anticipated - $23 cab ride in rush hour across the bridge thru Stanley Park - and about a half hour from BC Ferry at Horseshoe Bay - $27 cab ride - but the staff was outstanding! Accomodations were clean, quiet, comfortable, and […] very affordable. They also just got in a dozen brand new rental bikes for guest use. I would recommend. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Convinent Hotel and Great Staff. Was in the room only to sleep and we were out most of the day. For a motel the rooms were sufficient. The staff was really helpful and the were always willing to helpGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, close to Stanley Park and Free Parking"
I enjoyed this motel, I stayed only 1 night. It was fairly quiet, besides only one time when someone was standing outside the room beside mine smoking on the balcony. Its family oriented and pet friendly. Bathroom/shower facilites were very clean and worked well. Stanley Park is close - either a drive over the Lionsgate Bridge or by following the bike/foot […] path not far from the hotel. One word of caution; depending on the time of day, the onramp to the bridge gets very congested. We sat in traffic for about 20 minutes. If this doesn't sound good, you may want to stay in Vancouver as opposed to N.Van. Taxis are readily available into downtown in the evening and it was aprox $20 each way to Robson/Granville St. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Exceeded our expectations"
Great North Vancouver location, clean, comfortable bed and pillows, updated bathroom & good self-service breakfast choices, yet very affordable. We'll be back!Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel has a very decent breakfast. The person who is in the breakfast area, IS THE BEST. Even though he is very busy, he tried his best to refill everything..from scrabble eggs to pancakes. The hotel should add another help in the breakfast area to help the present person, because even though he's trying his best to serve all the guest, things […] just so overwhelming for just 1 person. He is so courteous too. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"North Vancouver hotel- close to stanley parkbridge"
Hotel was located on a main street but more in a residential area. 1 minute drive from bridge that connects to stanley park. and a 15 minute drive to downtown vancouver. Clean hotel, good customer service and decent continental breakfast (small kitchen but you can always take breakfast up to your own room, however they do not provide trays, and food […] runs out fast) Would return only with a vehicle since there is hardly anything besides gas station and denny's within walking distance. "North Vancouver hotel"
Hotel was nothing to write home about. Food was average with stale bagels, salty bacon and eggs that ran out before breakfast ended. Kitchenettes were sparce for dishes, only two of each (plates, cups, forks, etc) as were the towels in the washroom. One plus was the staff were friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good for the price"
The North Vancouver Hotel is a very good place to stay if you don't mind motels. The room was clean and well maintained. The customer service was excelent. We had power failure when used the microwaive but it was fixed in few minutes. The only cons - the pancake maker didn't work for breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"bad service for daily room tidy-up"
We stayed there for 8 nights. The lady would come to tidy-up the room everyday. She would just do half the job. She would take out the trash, and change towels that's it. She didn't even vacuum the room everyday. Worse was, one day, she left our room's door wide open!! she must have done that around 1pm or so, and till get got back at 7pm, the room […] was open to anybody. we had our laptops, iPad, iPod, SLR-camera, cash, visa documents, and passports in the room. When I called the front-desk lady to show the open door, she said "yeah, that cleaning lady might not have pulled the door very hard." Luckily for us, nothing got stolen; but that gave the hotel an excuse saying why make a fuss if nothing got stolen! We were so angry with the whole thing. Otherwise, breakfast is OK. Rooms are quiet. North-vanc is a good place to stay. Bathroom, kitchen, u-wave, fridge, TV worked. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"North Vancouver Hotel Four Day Stay"
Excellent location and we appreciate the drive up to your room Motel style. We booked 3 nights but decided to stay one more night because we found it so convenient and comfortable. The breakfast menu was excellent. We loved the pancake machine which made perfect pancakes every time. Earl's and a wine store were walking distance - very convenient!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean and nice"
I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel very clean and quite a bit nicer than I was expecting. No complaints at all. The staff at the front desk were helpful and kind. Our first hotel stay with our baby and I would definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"North Vancouver Hotel Capilano Rd"
Probably my worst stay in a long time. My original assigned room was about 15 meters from a busy road (Capilano Rd) so I asked to be moved. They had no other King beds available so they moved me to a twin Queen room, which was apparently the "restroom facility" room for the painters who were painting the hotel. I found this out when one entered my room […] unannounced in the late afternoon. In the morning I went down to breakfast at 8:30 a.m. to find that they had run out of eggs and bacon and the person before me was nice enough to split the remaining 4 sausage links with me. Apparently the ration they had allocated for the day had been exceeded. The last bit was at 9:30 a.m. I had fully placed the do not disturb sign in the outside lock but housekeeping decided they would like to make up the room at that time rather than wait till the room had been vacated. I only stayed one night and that was enough. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good price, really noisey"
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Located on a very busy street, very noisey, and we were on the first floor and could hear every movement of the people upstairs. "North Shore Hotel Summer 2011"
Solid motel on the North Shore. Easy access to both North & West Vancouver. Park Royal shopping, Grouse Mountain lift station, Ambelside beach and Lonsdale Quay less than 10 minutes away. "Vancouver Hotel near Capilano Park"
Room smelled, hot water in bathtub very weak, freezer melted the ice cream. Breakfast included essential items, but the eating room was very small, crowded, messy and slow in refilling the items.. After complaining, they did not even make a courtesy offer for the $6.00 I lost on the ice cream. What's more, I don't know why it's called a hotel. It was […] a motel with very badly kept stairways. Not as nice as pictures show. Very noisy traffic area. Older hotel, needs to be redone. Staff was ok. Breakfast area was crowded, no room to sit. They need to have staff on hand to restock the food items.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Terrible experiences in this hotel!"
We just stayed in this hotel. The experiences were terrible. They did not like to do any room clean. Even after we reminded them, the front desk was pretty rude and refused to do anything. Also, the room is ver noisy. Do not confuse with their name with 'hotel'. Actually, it is more like a low-level quality motel with rude service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"North Vancouver Hotel"
The North Vancouver Hotel is clean, comfortable and the best value that we found in the area. We also stayed at the Grouse Inn for a few nights previously, but it paled in comparison when it came to upkeep and cleanliness.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"North Vancouver Hotel"
The hotel seemed very dated. The room was large, and it was clean, but it was just 'tired'. Corner room on second floor was very, very, extreamly noisy. Constant traffic noise. Map showing location is not accurate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice for a Motel"
Rooms clean and relatively new decor but it is still a Motel style with doors on the outside and street noise nearby. WiFi in room free and quite fast. Bar fridge for drinks/food very nice to have. Free breakfast was decent. Staff was very friendly and I have no complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
