Good in all respects - except the shower. The shower curtain kept sticking to the body so it was impossible to take a good shower. Also - there were some loose tiles necxt to the bathtub.

The front desk people were extremely rude and not helpful at all. They even told us to go to the main Holiday Inn within walking distance if we wanted further information. I would not stay here again for several reasons. No WiFi in the room, room is heated by two small electric heaters, very outdated, walls are paper thin so you will hear your neighbours and everything that goes on in the hall way. Shuttle bus goes irregularly and infrequently.

The primary benefit of an airport hotel is proximity to the airport and the convenience of a shuttle. Upon arrival at the airport I was told there was no shuttle FROM the airport to the hotel. The hotel itself was much older than expected. The room had dirty, cracked walls with peeling paint, loose tiles in the bathroom, exposed wiring, dirty and worn […] carpeting, and a torn window curtain. Lighting was poor, the beds were wobbly and narrower than regular single beds, and the advertised internet service was out of order. The only amenity in the bathroom was a shower cap (why bother?) and the towels were very small. Advance reservations for the shuttle TO the airport are necessary, and ultimately the shuttle did not run and they called one taxi for the group of 7 waiting guests instead. I would not recommend this hotel. There was a problem with there internet, so there was no internet service. They were not willing to provide a shuttle 15 minutes earlier to make my flight. It was very hot in Belgium this weekend and there as no air-conditioning. No Fan, the only way to get air into the room was to have the door open and the window open, so everyone that walked past could see what we were doing. The Alliance Hotel in general was an okay stay. We had a 12 hour stop-over and needed a place close to the airport within a reasonable rate to get through the night. The room was very small and the bathroom was very dated (chipped bathtub, walls, sink), and the bed was extremely small for 2 adults to sleep on comfortably. Also, there was no network in the area due to construction for me to text or call home from my cell phone. The location in general was great - very close to the hotel, and the shuttle service to take you to the hotel was very convenient. It costed 20 Euros to get from the airport to the hotel by taxi - but the shuttle was free going back from the hotel. Also, breakfast was a plus. We also ended up staying a night that an Asian tour was booked, and at 6am we heard them in the hallways on and above our floor, talking loudly, knocking on each other's doors, but obviously that is no fault of the hotel. I have stayed in many different hotels over the past few years, both cheap and expensive. Of course I realize that you cannot expect the comfort of a 5 star hotel in a hotel with rates like this, however, I do expect a decent bed. Let's start with the positive points: the room and the hotel in general looks nice and is clean. There's no restaurant, […] but the Holiday Inn next door, within 2 minutes walk, has good food for decent pricing. Breakfast was good. The free WiFi turned out to work only in the lobby and the in-room Internet was as expensive as a monthly ADSL subscription. However, what really ruined my stay was the bed. Worst. Bed. Ever. Not one spring in my back, no at least 10. Woke up several times during the night because my back hurt from the extremely bad bed. Also, somewhere in the night, in an adjacent room an alarm clock went off and kept going for at least an hour, probably an empty room. However, nowhere in the room a phone number for reception was to be found. Eventually, I decided to call the "alarm number" to be called in case of fire, that was printed on the door. Nobody answered it. After about an hour, somewhere around 1:30, hotel staff came up and turned it off, however, they were so loud that anyone who wasn't awake already would have certainly woken up (they were literally screaming at eachother). For a hotel in this price range, EUR15 for parking is rediculous. Finally: this hotel is located in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium, however, the personnel insisted on speaking French (I even had one switch to English when I started speaking Dutch to them). Don't work in a hotel in the Flemish region if you're not at least willing to try to speak Dutch to your customers. Read more

ホームページからは気付きませんでしたが、このホテルはHoliday Innの隣にあり、シャトルバスもHoliday Innのものが利用できます。時間帯によっては、バスが走っていません。 部屋そのものには問題ありません。ただし、僕が利用した部屋には、（偶然かもしれませんが）タオルが全くありませんでした。ホテルのスタッフは非常に親切な方のいましたが、ハウスキーピングをしていないせいか、タオルの場所を知らず、夜中になるまでタオルなしの状態が続きました。そのため、ずっとお風呂に入ることができませんでした…。このホテルには（ベルギーでは珍しく）バスタブがあるため、入浴を楽しみにしていた僕にはとても残念でした。 それ以外は、とても良いホテルです。 たぶん、今回の僕はアンラッキーだったのだと思います。
