I booked a night at this hotel on my way through Houston. The hotel is conveniently located near I45. It is relatively clean, the staff is helpful. However the cleanliness of the room leaves a little bit waning more. I found hair on the toilet seat. One of the pillow faces was a little bit dirty. Under the bed it seems that they never cleaned. I thought the StudioPLUS was a great deal for what I paid for it. Its not the J.W. Marriott, but it was clean and spacious, with a nice flat screen tv.

Great accomodations! Greenspoint area has most definitely improved in safety over the years. Full kitchen in every room. Go to Wal-mart and save big on meals. Staff very friendly!

I recently stayed at the Studio Plus hotel in Houston off of I-45. There are a variety of pluses and minuses at this location travelers should know. First; the positive. The hotel was easy to find and fairly straight forward to check into (as i had purchased room on line). The hotel still uses plastic punch cards for room access. This wasn't really […] a bother, but it gives you an idea of the nature the hotel. Also the room was reasonably priced to be so close to Houston downtown. Now, The negative. The room had a big circular cut in the carpet, apparently where a damaged section had been removed. Second, there was a burn hole in the blanket on the bed. This is not to mention the bed was a very flat mattress, no cushioning left. Finally there was mold on the shower curtain. I get that this is a hotel for construction workers or other long stay persons, but that is not an excuse for poor quality. I design these type facilities for a living and may be over critical, however I know the directors of several hotel chains and they would not be pleased with these type of conditions. This hotel gears itself for a certain price point clientele, however if it improved the conditions I am sure the price point could be raised and they would still be a good value; room size to cost. The hotel is very filfthy....I had not idea it was as beed as it was. The carpet in the hallways were dirty so I am thinking okay and be assured so was the carpet in the room. I had choices for lodging in the Houston area, and I opted for Studio Plus. Although, I thought the maid service should have been more than once a week, I am a fairly neat person, so it wasn't noticed too much. I did notice a fair amount of debris in the corners of the room, and behind the door. The carpeting could be replaced, but was relatively clean. […] The bed was comfortable and not worn down. I most often judge a room by the shower. This shower needed help. With low water pressure and a large amount of calcium buildup on the spout, a good shower was out of the question. I was going to stay for 2 weeks, so I went out and bought some vinegar and removed the spout and soaked it for a few hours. This helped, but low water pressure was a 2 week battle. The main reason I stayed there was the full kitchen. Everything worked without a flaw. When I travel I cook my own food to save on money, and calories. The hotels location to the highway made me think it would be noisy, but it wasn't that loud. I would stay there again when I return. Read more

We were looking for a place with a full kitchen at a reasonable price since my husband was attending a multi-day school nearby. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
