"Great location but needs work."
Was very satisfied with the location and value. Numerous restaurants and sights to see nearby, including Six Flags, the Ball Park, home of the Texas Rangers, and Cowboy Stadium. However, we were awaken at 5:30am to a fire alarm due to a broken water pipe. We had to evacuate and it took well over 45 minutes for them to turn it off. Never staying here again!! Chosen because it was close to Rangers Ballpark. Had booked room for 4 people. Only had 2 towels so I sent my son to front desk to get more. He was sent back and told we had to call from the room and request that towels be brought up. After calling for 20 minutes and receiving no answer at the front desk (at midnight), I sent […] my son back to front desk and he was finally given the towels. "Trashy hotel"
Hookerville should be the name of this hotel. Absolutely horrible. I was asked as walking into my room if I charged by the hour or day. As if that was not creepy enough everywhere we turned (us two girls) there were guys staring at us and following us. Most of which would speak spanish to us so we couldnt understand all of what they were saying. "Been there before"
We have stayed at this hotel 6 times for a week each time. For at least three years they have said that they are scheduled for a remodel. So far there are no signs. We will stay there again because they are convenient to the Arlington Convention center and are reasonably clean and very reasonable in price. We like having the full kitchen. The hide-a-bed […] was so broken down that it was barely comfortable to sit on let alone sleep on. The pool was cloudy most of the time but the temperature was great. Shampoo was available in the vending machine and the packet was $2. I consider this a rip off. I thought the price of a load of laundry was a bit exorbitant. $2 each for a wash and dry. The matresses and couches definitely need replaced. Housekeeping needs to make sure they put a mattress pad on every bed. Our bed had no matress pad and the fitted sheet was a full on a queen size bed. The front desk staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. I really appreciate them. "Noisy"
It was very loud. I complained and nothing got done about the noise over my head. It was so bad I had a migraine headache. I had a stroke and could not bear the noise so I checked out and went to a hotel that answered their phones when a customer complained. "HORRIBLE HOTEL!"
We had several issues with our recent hotel stay. First of all, when booking the room I was told we were booking a room with a king bed. I later saw on the email confirmation that it said it was a queen room. When checking into the hotel, it was run down, smelled & was not like any hotel we'd typically stay at. Unfortunately we were in town for a concert […] & all surrounding hotels were completely booked. When we got into our room it said it was a non-smoking room yet it smelled of smoke. There was not a king bed, nor a queen bed, it had 2 double beds. The sofa sleeper had dirty socks stuffed in the cushion. The toilet was running continuously & then we realized it didn't even flush unless you took the lid off & did it manually inside the tank. The floor was sinking in near the air conditioning unit. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. If you sat on the foot of the bed, the mattress would about launch you off the bed. We had no choice but to laugh about the conditions since there was nothing we could do. The location is primo as it related to attractions in Arlington the hotel staff is great but the physical plant is just simple. The 3rd floor is full of smokers OF ALL KINDS! "Poor Guest Service"
When I tried to check in at noon there was no one yo talk to check in. I waited for 20 minutes with no help; so, I use the phone in the lobby to call for help. When some finally answered the phone the person was rude by saying "what u want" I told the person "I would like to check in." He answer why was I there." I was floored with the reply. It's nice because you get a full kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, microwave) but the place really needs renovating. The carpets are worn pretty thin and grungy and my bed had cigarette burn holes all over it. Rooms need to be updated. The room had a really foul smell, almost like paint but could tell it wasn't new paint. Apparently hotel was overbooked when we got there. "Terrible stay"
The hotel hospitality was the worse. The was a water leak in the middle of night. Water was coming through out roof into our room. When we went to go look for help in lobby, there was no one to be found. The desk clerk was later found outside of the motel. He took a ling time just to transport us rooms. No apologies given to us for the inconvenience. I stayed for a Cowboy game and they could not have made it easier! Sguttle service to and from the game and it was quick, easy and the driver knew every way in and out. Can't beat it! "Not worth it.....Just Gross."
Traveled to the area with my wife and 2 children (16 & 7). Liked the idea of a full kitchen. Not enough plates for 3 people, or silverware or glasses. Not only insufficient, they were dirty. The dishwasher was inoperable at best. Wouldn't even clean the dishes. Probably why they were dirty. Woke up Christmas morning to the sound of running water in […] the hallway. A waterfall was coming from the ceiling into the hall and one unit. No one thought to shut the source of the water off. Instead they put up signs on the carpeting and let it pour out, through a light fixture in he hall ceiling and powered on. Thank God we left early. Only a matter of time before the ceiling probably came down....or a power outage. As my wife and kids put it....the place is just gross. Dated everything to say the lest. And you would think with 4 people listed on the reservation, we would have enough towels in the room. There wasn't enough for 2 people. And when I asked for additional towels at check-in, I was told no, but once I used one, I could bring it to the office to exchange it for a fresh one. There is a reason the price is low. From the outside the property appears nice and clean, and even the public areas and halls appear clean, just don't go to the room. The room was dirty from a variety of substances unknown, to the point I was afraid to take my shoes off and walk on the carpet.
